thanks for this video.

My question regarding this draping.

I am thinking of getting a sewing dummy, have you got any recommendations or advice?

Secondly, does this mean that any style I want I can just drape the pattern on the dummy?

Finally does it have to be the same size as me?

You make draping look so easy in this video.

Also is there an alternative to a dummy?
and what kind of material is best for draping?

I would advice you to invest in a good one, that way you buy it once and for all. If you can afford it get one that is adjustable with removable arms and legs. That way you can drape sleeves, trousers etc.

Yes you can drape any style you want on a dress dummy, the sky is your limit.

Yes it’s got to be your size.

Yes there is that is yourself or a model. The only problem if you are using yourself is you wouldn’t be able to get to the corners and creases or certain parts of your body.

The. Best material to use is muslin , some people call it bath material.

I hope this has answered your queries?

Most fridge bulbs and sewing machine light bulbs are the same as long as you follow the specifications which is- 15V, 240w and the screw cap is SES. You can’t go wrong. The difference between the two is just the packaging.
