I just checked my application online and I discovered that review of medical results status has changed to "we did not receive your medical results.check below for instructions".
When I received the mail to go for medicals a month ago,I sent an email to accra immigration that I had done my medicals upfront.the mail was acknowledged and they said the document has been added to my file.I don't know why I'm seeing this new status

Gurus please advice..what can I do?

Thank you.

Its might be technical problem....

This was the response I got from them:
Due to significant and unforeseen increases in the volume of temporary resident applications we receive (temporary resident visas, study permits, and work permits), we are currently outside regular processing times. We continue to process applications as quickly as possible in the order they were received.

How long from the date you sent email did you get the response from CIC?

Hello fam,
My visa was refused on 25th and I just got my GCMSNOTES today. See below for their reason for refusal and kindly advise accordingly. Many thanks!

Pa completed a university degree in home country and has been following a career since. Now wishes to study for a Master’s degree at University of Manitoba in order to enhance career prospects. Cost of studies is rather significant in light of pa’s/family’s financial situation and am not satisfied that any possible increase in income in future would justify such a significant expense. Studies to be supported by parents. There is no indication that pa’s parent are or were gainfully employed. Am not satisfied that pa’s ties to home country are sufficient to compel pa to leave Canada at the end of authorized stay and that motivation to study is genuine. Am not satisfied that pa’s career prospect in home country justify pa’s stated motivation and that the plan described in pa’s submission is sound. Am not satisfied that motivation to study is genuine. Refused

It is well o. Let's keep praying for the best. It will end in praise. Hopefully in December we will get response. My school is resuming 3rd January. Let's keep hope alive.

Good afternoon house,

I applied for an undergraduate program in university of Winnipeg for my brother that just finished secondary school. Thankfully, he received his admission letter after 2 weeks. The tuition fee per year is stated as 8,650 Canadian dollar but he is not required to pay till he registers in Canada. He was given an option to pay 1000 tuition deposit. However, in case he doesn't study in the school, the deposit is not refundable.
What is his chances of applying for study permit without paying d deposit. cos am not in support of paying for the deposit and the application is refused, then we lose a whopping 1000 Canadian dollar.
Thanks for the help

Ask for clarification, does it mean if he decides t change school in canada....or if visa is denied and plans change for example

Phew this is serious ooh. That is why SOP is very important. Exuding passion for your course of study without double downing on every minutiae details of your areas of study, would have solved the problem of not been considered a genuine student.

Hello all. I'm a silent reader and have learnt so much from this thread. I'm yet to apply for my study permit but I'm sure that with God on my side coupled with the things I've learnt from this thread, there wouldn't be any issue and I'm grateful for that. There's a recent trend I'm noticing, questions are rarely answered these days, I admit many of these questions asked are unnecessary because most of the answers can be found if only people read previous thread or even go to page 0 of this particular thread but there are still some questions I feel are really important that the gurus rarely answer these days. I know everybody has a life to live and will be really busy and I'm not at the other end so I wouldn't know how difficult it is shuffling between school and trying to make ends meet which might make it not easy coming online and keeping up with most things that is posted here here but pls I'm begging the gurus, don't let this our lovely thread die because so many people gained lot of knowledge from here which made their travelling easier, as much as possible try to create small time to help we the novice. A friend recently got denied and before applying he reached out to few people, so his SOP can be reviewed but there was no response from anybody. I really appreciate all the efforts you've all made and I'm a beneficiary of getting tremendous help from few people on this thread but going through the previous thread and reading old posts, I could feel the love amongst people that had not even met each other which is gradually fading away here, everybody really tried their best to help each other out then, please let's return to the Status quo, so this platform will not die. To the newbies I'm sure if you can just take out time to read well, many unnecessary questions will be avoided and it will be easier to notice the more important questions. I pray travel falls on all genuine applicants in Jesus name. Thank you
N.B. I'm very sorry for the long post

it depends..... if the program you going for is 6 month or less no need of medicals BUT if it's more than 6 month then you ought to have been called for medicals... when did you apply? and what program are you going for?

Well, it will be best to submit your personal bank statements for 4-5 months, this will be fine. *VERY IMPORTANT* Make sure the said monthly inflow and outflow of payment(salary) appears on your bank statement, because the Visa officer will always spot on them.

Point of correction Sir/Ma, you are not bothering me. We are all here to achieve a goal, Help, Learn from each other. So, feel free to ask questions that needs clarification.

All the best!
