Certitude:

How old is Ogbeche and how old is Martins. They are both scoring with the former netting five in two matches. Where does Rufai and Aghahowa play sef and how old are they? Five goals in two matches no b beans... How many of our forwards beat that?
don't you think we should overhaul the team...and create a new one?

I think that will be better...going by all calls...we may end up taking like 30 players to Russia....

Is it Ezenwa or Akpeyi, you wan make I carry go world cup?

Bros, Dele Alampasu and Uzoho are the only goalkeepers on my list aside these 3. The rest na no go area for me.
I would also not list either of them but it seems one of them will make the final squad.

you're talking too harsh...
I would have advised you to play round here for a while just to know how things are being done.

insulting everyone on this thread does not speak good of you.

politely pass your point to let others learn rather than start insulting someone you don't even know.
moreover he is someone not even convassing for the inclusion of New players....
Noted! But I'm not new here. I'm as old as this thread. Some of the bullshit here is annoying. And I will always speak up when I see bullshit.

Ogbeche your best prospect? Like I have stated before Martins is a great striker I respect so much! If anything he's the ONLY player worth looking at if Rohr decides to call new players! But the way you guys sounding here makes me wonder who and who qualified us for the world cup? Yes! Since you want Ogbeche me think we also want Rufai and Aghahowa and all our football accestors too! Nonsense!
did Martins qualify us for the world cup?

If he is a prospect, why can't others who are putting up good performances be? Why should he be the only person Rohr should look at? Is he the best prospect we have currently? Is Dennis Bonaventure not posting great numbers in a better league? Is Ogbeche also not doing same? Why should Martins be the only player Rohr should bring into the fold? A fold he is not even part of,

Every eligible Nigerian doing well for his club, should be considered for the World Cup team, not just Martins.

It is only a player's agent that will come online and blatantly say that someone playing in China is the ONLY one worth being called up. An aging player at that, not even a young one.

Croatia can be hurt with speed... their defenders are criminally slow. We need to perfect our speedy counters before the WC.

They also love to control possession, their midfield can keep the ball. Perisic has some decent speed on the left but i think Ebuehi or Shehu can handle it.

to every sane coach...that is not the criterion.

so drop your question in your pocket.
bro that is consistency am sure if ihenancho had scored 10 goals back to back y'all would be worshiping him by now. all i know is obafemi martins can still bring value to the team.

I agree with you. With right formation, good preparation and some luck, we can even top our group.

If we are dreaming of winning the WC next year or this year, the opponents we face should not matter. We play our game one at a time regardless of who we face.

Therefore, we need the right players to fulfill our task and to pick the best and right players fit for the task, sentiments must be eliminated to the bearest minimum.

This is how I will pick my 23 players.

Gk

Vincent Enyeama
Dele Aiyenugba
Dele Ajiboye

DF

Troost Ekong
Leon Balogun
Chidozie Awaziem
Brian Idowu
Tyrone Ebuehi
Elderson Echiejile
Shehu Abdullahi/ Ola Aina

MF

Mikel Obi
Ogenyi Onazi
Joel Obi
Wilfred Ndidi
Sone Aluko
Victor Moses
Alex Iwobi
Simon Moses
Ahmed Musa
Raheem Lawal/ Abdul Ajagun/ Onomah

ST

Kelechi Iheanacho
Odion Ighalo
Obafemi Martins

With calibers of players I can switch from 4-2-3-1 to 3-5-1 or 4-4-2 to 4-3-3

My first choice players for 3-5-1

.................................Enyeama (hopefully)

.............. Balogun.......Ekong......... Brian

.......Vicmo......... Ndid......... Onazi..........Joel Obi

...................Iwobi.................Mikel

...........................Martins

In 4-2-3-1 formation

.......................................Enyeama

...Ebuehi......... Troost.......... Leon.........Echiejile

......................Onazi.........Joel.......

Vicmo...................Mikel................. Simon Moses

...........................Ighalo

You mean you are not impressed with Onyekuru? l think the lad can be an effective substitute for Moses Simon in a 4-3-3 formation.

BONAVENTURE : COMPETITION IS TOUGH AT
CLUB BRUGGE

 
Posted By: soccerassembly.com
on: December 03, 2017

Nigerian forward Dennis Bonaventure has
admitted that the competition for places
at Belgian giants club Brugge is tough and
he needs to be at his best to keep his
place in the team
The 20 year old Nigerian had been
dropped from the starting squad by Club
Brugges Croatian Manager Ivan Leko due
to a seeming drop in fitness with the
player himself also saying defenders were
now alert to his qualities
However the dazzling young forward
bounced back to reckoning coming off the
bench to score a double against Zulte
Waregem last weekend in the Belgian Cup
“It feels good to score those goals,”
Dennis is quoted on Walfoot as saying
after the match.
“I WORK SO HARD AT TRAINING BECAUSE I KNOW
THAT THE SLIGHTEST RELAXATION CAN COST ME
MY PLACE ,”.
“There is too much competition here.
Everyone plays well. But the team spirit is
fantastic, “he concludes.
It is expected that the dazzling forward
will be back in the starting line up as
Brugge square up against KAS Eupen on
Sunday
Dennis has 5 league goals in 13
appearances and 10 in all competitions
this season

If only we can adopt a position that can make Rohr start Onyenkuru and VicMo from both wings with Mikel and Iwobi at the middle, Boy! I wish i could sleep tonight and wake up June 14th

Guy, see, e no matter wetin dem talk, they are on their turf, they can say anything and should not be attacked for expressing themselves in their forum.

Last month, we were insulting the field we played on in Algeria and I remember an Algerian coming to NL...and while he made a show of comparing both their field and that of Uyo, he didn't resort to throwing insults at us. That was him being civil, and that is what is expected of us as well.

Mazimee was also on that Croatian page and he simply told them Nigeria is no pushover, I am sure he also saw the comments against Nigeria before he posted that, but he didn't attack them.

No dey go another man house to fight am onto say you hear am dey insult you when you dey pass him window.

Lol, I just went there just to know how they feel about us only to see a suffocating arrogance that was oozing everywhere in that their forum . They really think of us like a bunch of high school football team that they can walk on all over easily.

I really wish their coach will have this metality and at the world cup.

Who else is keeping tabs on Awaziem's progress at Nantes France? Dude is improving with every game, one thing that amazes me is how he adjusts seamlessly whenever Ranieri changes formation from 3 at the back to 4 during the course of a game.

Did you see him against Neymar in their match with Psg? Did you see him against Monaco few days ago? And today against St Etienne.

French league will retain(possibly out rightly) that boy when his loan deal is up

Exactly, the issue is that their Coach might not be as ignorant as the fans. He will put in some extral work.

I really want to see those arrogant fans bow their heads in shame when Super Eagles hit them like a Dangote truck.

no be coach dey kick ball last last.

They aren't implying that their coach is superior, that isn't the basis of their confidence, after all, our coach is white as well.

The basis of their confidence is that their players are superior, they have the big names in big clubs and all we have is a bunch of nobodies with questionable ages. That's the root of their confidence.

Our players just need to prove that a name is just that- a name. This isn't solely for the pride of the fans, but the pride of the players and the black race.

I look forward to the Croatian coach attributing our win to our 'physicality' come next year grin
