For reason best known to my bank, I am unable to access PTA. pls how do I bail myself out from those immigration guys esp if I meet stubborn ones who insist on seeing my PTA? can I hold naira? how best can I get dirham/ dollars when I land? the person that helped me with my visa is going to be at work at my expected time of arrival so I need to mark out my own plan which will definitely involve cash. My plan B and C guys have gone on gost mode. I am checking out on Thursday.

Bro you'll get dollars at mmia airport when you're traveling but it will be at black market rate tho, also you can get dirham at uae airport when you land.... It's advisable to change you naira to dollar before you leave naija o

Go and buy USD or AED from those Foreign Exchange guys. any amount you have is ok since you have a Work visa but make sure u have enough to sustain you till you get your first pay. cos owu sa gi ooo ke ega mara Ife na Dubai. You don't need any plan b or c, just inform your agent and the company you are arriving, some might send a driver to pick u up at the airport

Now i understand you better, there are people with just SSCE that have a job that pays them 2500aed+ and there are those with MSC that earn 1500aed+ or Bsc with 1000aed+ Job, and also lots of those with B.Sc/M.Sc/ND/HND but not using their certificates to Work. it all depends on what kind of job you could find when you get to UAE, Having a Degree/HND doesn't guarantee you any job over there, so if you believe you can Make it to UAE, get yourself prepared Spiritually, Psychologically for the task ahead PS: don't hope on friends to succeed in UAE so u wouldn't get frustrated, try building Valuable contacts from LinkedIn (Don't sound desperate to them) before leaving Nigeria.

Got an info yesterday that they don't check yo luggage at the airport again (atm) ..just weigh the luggage n move forward.. 2 bags to an individual.
