Nsofor was firing with all cylinders. His drop did not look as a case of rotation. It looked totally unfair, dropping one of their best performing players. Funny part is that the team tanked after such comical decision. If it was an English boy, Heads will roll.
Obinna Nsofor's stats at West Ham reads..... 25 appearances, 3 goals and zero assists, 1 red card.. ....
So much for firing from all cylinders for a relegation threatened West Ham.

leave the club football fanatics.

Let me use his analogy in a different light

As things stand now, it will be pure bias if Ezenwa goest to the World Cup and Akpeyi doesn't, Akpeyi is doing great for his club and Ezenwa is not even sure of a shirt in his
This is not about Club fanatics. You guys should always read deep into words before concluding.
Its about taking our best legs to the WC. My point is that we need Henry in this SE team. And its not just about being in the team, its about utilizing the game changing players you have in the team. And in my humble opinion, Rohr hasn't been doing that. He hasn't been taking much risks enough. Well lets wait till the friendlies begin and hope that he changes his philosophies.

Yes. I know he's done well so far, but him not playing regularly is a big factor. Well, I know Rohr will definitely take him even if his club relegate him to under 16 or under O!

But in Henry, we have another Victor Moses. I don't see why we shouldn't be playing both of them at once from the wings. Damn!
Have you seen that dude play? Who says we can't trouble any team at the WC? But its not just about having the best legs, its all about FIELDING the best legs. And I hope we get it right this time.

Kelechi has not been relegated to under any age. Several first team players lacking match fitness played the Leicester under 21 game. It is about match fitness not relegation..

Onyekuru will get more opportunities to force the coach's hand

which best legs? So the leg that has scored 8 goals in 14 matches and assisted at least 4 should be thrown aside because his club is not playing him?

If you want to advocate for Onyekuru, you can do that without dragging one of our best performing players in this Super Eagles team or a veteran player.

If Kelechi or Musa sef is going to Russia, it is because they have paid their dues in the GwG, when Onyekuru pays his, then by all means, your comment will be valid

Leicester Boss Puel: Fantastic Ndidi Has Great Potential

Leicester City manager Claude Puel has praised Wilfried Ndidi for the Nigeria midfielder’s contributions to the side.

The 20-year-old Nigerian international has been churning out consistent displays playing alongside Vincent Iborra in the heart of Leicester City’s midfield and Puel believes Ndidi has a bright future ahead of him if he keeps improving.

“Wilfred has made progress also,” Puel told Leicester City Mecury.

“He is a fantastic recoverer of the ball, winning the ball back, and gives us possession.

“He puts in some fantastic work on the pitch. I think also he improves with the ball and plays with quality.

“I think he can make further progress in this area. He has great potential for the future.”
Ndidi who has played in all 15 English Premier League games for Leicester City is expected to make his 41st appearance in all competition when the Foxes take on Newcastle United at St James’ Park on Saturday.

It is not bias if Kelechi goes to the WC. He has generally done well for Nigeria. His goal and assist return is still outstanding for the super eagles.

I remember how Omeruo's solid display against a Man City's Dzeko led attack in 2014 world cup made a commentator to question why has hasn't been playing for Chelsea's main team.

Its simple, don't judge Nigerian players solely by their club status, some opponent coaches who have done so have been proven wrong.

The King-Kong is back.

[quote]Troost-Ekong Returns For Fenerbahce Clash

Bursaspor of Turkey defender, William Troost-Ekong has set his sight on returning to action with his club against Fernebahce this weekend, following his emergence back in training just a week after suffering a muscle strain.

The Super Eagles stopper and Rio 2016 Olympic Games bronze medallist copped the injury in the 78th minute of last Wednesday’s FA Cup and was replaced by Ismail Konuk during the clash against Adanaspor.

However, the 24-year-old former Dutch youth international took to social media to reveal that he is back in training with his club and declared that he is ready to face one of the Lig’s Istanbul giants this weekend.

Troost-Ekong, who has made 13 Super Lig appearances for Bursaspor (15 in all competitions) this season, with two goals, trained with the rest of his teammates on Tuesday after missing last Sunday’s clash against Konyaspor.

Bursaspor are sixth in the Turkish Super Lig table with 24 points from 14 games.Troost-Ekong joined Bursaspor from Belgian club Gent this summer for a fee of €2m#

Troost-Ekong tweeted a picture of himself in training with the squad, with a bold declaration ahead of Bursaspor’s clash away to Fenerbahce on Friday at Sukru Saracoglu.

I feel Ebuehi played the 3-5-2 system better than Shehu against Argentina but let us see him in more games first. He seems to recover better than Shehu though the whole team was poor in the first half.

Shehu was outstanding in the qualifiers.

We can adjust personnel depending on the approach to the game.
But I doubt if Ebuehi has the stamina because clearly in that game against Argentina he was panting so much even though he came in for the second half. Not easy to do that drill - running up and down the flanks, attacking and defending. Vicmo na baba.

Argentina Legend Osvaldo Ardiles : Nigeria One Of The Unexpected Favourites; Moses & Iwobi Top Stars

Argentina World Cup-winning midfielder, the legendary Osvaldo Ardiles, has picked Nigeria as one of the unexpected favourites for the 2018 World Cup, stating that they are physically powerful and more motivated to win their opening match against Croatia.
The former Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and West Brom manager named Chelsea's Victor Moses, Arsenal's Alex Iwobi and Leicester City's Ahmed Musa as the stars in the Super Eagles squad.

''Nigeria is a very, very dangerous team True, there are no longer those big star stars like Finidi, Okocha, Kanu, Amokachi. However, this is a young , energy-loving team that wants to be at the level of its best time,'' Ardiles told sportske.jutarnji.hr.

Ardiles, added :''Nigeria could be an unexpected favorite of the World Cup. They will play without any fear, they have nothing to lose and are very powerful. They are physically powerful and totally unpredictable.

''Argentina and Croatia will have to be very careful in the game with Nigeria, with Croatia being in my opinion to be more difficult because it plays the first game with them. ''

''In that opening match, the Nigerians will be the most motivated, they will want to show everything they know, and they will know that getting three points can take them far away.

''Therefore, Croatia must be very concentrated. Not only that, as I recall, African teams usually know they are better at the beginning and less so as the championship moves.

''Here in England play Moses in Chelsea, Iwobi in Arsenal and Musa in Leicester, Obi Mikel from Chelsea has gone to China.''

Nigeria and Croatia face off at the Kaliningrad Stadium, Kaliningrad on June 16, 2018.

Victor is one of the best wing backs in the world and he is full of energy. No wonder Conte just quickly gave him back the starting place after he returned from injury without even making him to re-compete for it.

The core of the SE emanates from the EPL no doubt.

Being in a big club and or leagues is not entirely conclusive it's indicative. However, you must be performing in that league and club to be considered all things being equal.

On the other hand being a stand out player in a lower league and club is still a basis for consideration. I remember Gomez at 18 left Charlton Athletic straight to the first team of Liverpool. From first team to England senior team crowned with MOTM against England he actually pocketed Neymar.

So I dont believe in top team and league alone. But if you are in a lower team you should really be standing out and exceptional. Which was not the case for Nwakali, Osimhen and others.

Well it's a team and it sure would have a blend of the best, good and the not so good, they can rub off on each other in a +ve way.

Not every brilliant player gets to play national team football.

Why? I am more worried about Lingard. Our system relies a lot on the defence and goalkeeper keeping possession. Lingard will make it a bit tough. Lukaku having more talent does not change the fact that I am more scared of Lingard than Lukaku.

Just as I am more scared of Kovacic than Modric. Simple. We leave gaps during play and Kovacic thrives on running into spaces.

Well I can't get in ur head and rejig ur opinion so this will do I guess

@Forgiveness.... your Boy - Lookman is on fire Tonight - 2 Goals to his Name already!

When Solanke and Tiago Ilori were playing with e U23, many monikers here crucified them without trying to know or accept the reasons but now that Iheanacho is playing with the U21 suddenly their thinking faculty started functioning. Why?

Should I throway reasoning and go the tribal way by calling people here IPOB agent because I suppose majority of those monikers are IGBOs eventhough I know who dey are?

Should I start mocking Iheanacho the way people mocked players that are not from their village and start wishing them ill luck?

Should i start insinuating that some people wants to fill the national team with their tribes men regardless of were these players play and how they performan because they are quick to set standards and relax standards to accommodate their tribes men into the national team?

Because I still remembered one of those monikers told me Tiago Ilori was not good enough despite playing currently then in Ligue 1 but suddenly made a uturn when a player started playing there?

Can dey not see that majority of predictions and analyses have come to pass?

Didn't I say Solanke is a better player than Iheancho when he was loaned out to Vitesee

Was I not the one that called him a tap in merchant?

Did I not give my reasons when I said if he goes to Vitesee or another club he will find it hard to score?

Is that not what is happening now?

Has Solanke not gone ahead of him recently to win individual laurel that led him to Liverpool?

Did I not say the same about Kayode when one told me he is not good enough?

Did I not predict that Kayode is ahead of Onyekuru when many here mocked me and asked me why is big clubs struggling to buy Kayode if he is good enough after Everton bought Onyekuru?

What happened next?

Who is in a better club now?

Time will not permit to say how I analysed that Dele Ali is better than all players in our national team, including Nacho and Iwobi. That was even when Dele Ali was nobody in the EPL. But what did I get in return?

Did it not happened as I said?

Now, I have said about Lookman and Onomah but they said Onomah is a camouflage that I am a Oduduwa Agent and Igbo (God bless) hater for doing what God has given me to do. grin

If they can't believe me as a person, they should for once consider all my predictions and analyses then I believe they can see I say things the way I study them.

Now, Lookman has just shown tips of what he can do. Believe me he is another next thing after Dele Ali.

I am no God but I have the spirit of God and fear God else I would not have taken lightly those who falsely accuses me of tribal hates and tribalism when all I have said dey glaringly for day light, but I am humble because I know it is by his grace to know and reveal all I have predicted and analysed.

People should purge their heart of ethnic hatred and jealousy because I perceived many walk with this evil spirit. Thank you all

I think Rohr likes his forwards to give incisive defense splitting passes than runnings and take ons. You might mention Vicmo but Vicmo seems to be the exception cos he seems not so keen on Onyekuru, Kayode, Musa (as a starter). He likes them like Iwobi. In fact he has said he he likes one - touch - two - go- football and that he doesn't like players who run like headless chicken

Ndidi who has played in all 15 English Premier League games for Leicester City is expected to make his 41st appearance in all competition when the Foxes take on Newcastle United at St James’ Park on Saturday.
It is when I watched Ndidi do this@the bolded against Argentina that I knew that nicking the ball, sneaking on players, recovery the ball is his special calling. He is truly exceptional in the his ball recovery. Check our first goal, he lost the ball from Iheanacho's pass and quickly in a flash he recovered it again and passed it Nacho.
