I doubt if the solution is declining. Read a thread online and it says I can raise a Case Specifc Enquiry to update information. My passport does not influence my points, that I am aware of. That’s why I need a contact number to reach CIC to bthe sure of what to do without speculating.

Anyone with a contact number for CIC!!!

As for your case, you do not need a CSE. CSEs are for submitted applications. You seem to be at ITA stage. Your priority should be to get the new passport asap. You should be able to continue your application with your new passport and documentation showing you lost and replaced your passport. Make sure you get the new passport on time as your 90day deadline will not be extended.

The question is are you sure youre going to get an ITA within the next six months? What is your current crs estimate as you dont have ielts yet.
1 & 2 is possible to get but they have a time limit which shouldnt be more than three to six months to the day of submission else you'd have to procure another.

As for the pcc, you can get it in an hour or less. Officer Moshood has done Enough wonders for people in this thread.

Without sade further ado, i wish you good luck in your masters program. When you finish you can cross over to canada without visiting Nigeria sef.

Chill. Express entry can wait grin

Applications differ from one another but based on my experience, ref letters do not expire. 4 of the 6 ref letters i used (yea had to merge alot to get the 3yrs max) were gotten since 2014 and i did not get any ADR. However i got them all after i had left the companies.

Yeah i believe so but getting it while working at the same company will say something like 2014 to date, which i believe shouldn't be used for claiming experience later on after he/she has left the company. the circumstances surrounding the date of the reference letter will have changed.

Make necessary updates to your profile. If your score is higher than the lowest CRS point for the round (cut-off), then you are good. If it is lower, reject the ITA so you will be back in the pool.
Below is a screenshot from ITA letter.

Thanks. My score is higher. Got the same advice from someone else.

Not correct. We've trashed out this issue before. A birthday after you have received an ITA is exempt from CRS recalculation. You do not have to submit before the birthday.

Exemption to section A11.2: candidates whose birthday occurs after they receive an ITA
An applicant may have a birthday after they receive an ITA but before they submit their e-APR. Their change in age may lower their CRS score below the lowest score in the round of invitations. It may also result in the applicant no longer meeting the minimum requirements of the FSWC and, consequently, no longer meeting the MEC, resulting in a refusal based on section A11.2.

When a change in age results in the candidate no longer meeting the MEC or having their recalculated CRS points score fall below the lowest points score in that round of invitations, officers should consider applying the public policy to exempt applicants for permanent residence from certain age-based requirements between invitation to apply and application, based on section A25.2. This consideration can result in an exemption from the refusal of an application under section A11.2.

This public policy also grants an exemption to applicants who may be refused for failing to meet FSWC program requirements when their birthday occurs between the ITA and e-APR.

Your question has been answered.

Sibling must have landed and be living in Canada to claim those points. Why not fill your profile with a No to that question and udate your profile when the sibling lands. PR card issuance doesn't take so long, plus you'd have to show sibling's utility bills to prove sibling is there

I am thinking in the same line with you. As long as the company will still verify that they issued it, I do not think it should be an issue.

I also agree with Threadstone that it might raise ADRs like payslips

This is what I copied from the attachment in my ITA message. Don't know where it all fits into this.

NOTE: If you had a birthday since we sent you this invitation, and the change to your age decreases your points
total, this will not cause us to refuse your application for permanent residence.

Maybe what Flaj quoted is an old stuff. The CIC maintains that your age is frozen after receiving ITA, I have come across that multiple times.

This is exactly what i am saying. My wording was wrong. Not exempt from CRS recalcultaion but exempt from refusal on the basis of change in age. Bottom line is that change in age after ITA and before AOR will not result in your application being refused.

Get a new passport. I think you shouldbe able to edit the passport details wheb you are feeling the EAPR. Not sure sha.
If EAPR has been submitted-get a new passport, get an affidavit and/police report that your passport was stolen. Raise cse upload tge new passport, affidavit and/police report that it was stolen and a letter of explanation

True.

Background

A candidate who reports an age difference between the time they receive an invitation and the time they submit an application for permanent residence (APR) may no longer meet the requirements of the Federal Skilled Worker Class, specifically those requirements pertaining to the number of points required of an applicant and the number of points awarded, under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (the Regulations), on the basis of their age.

Public Policy Considerations

As described above, applicants may fail to meet the regulatory requirements pertaining to the number of points required due to the loss of age points as a result of their birthday occurring between the time they were invited to apply and the deadline for submitting an application for permanent residence. Aging is a change of circumstance that an applicant has no ability to control or remedy, and therefore warrants a special dispensation from the requirements. These applicants would likely be refused, resulting in a loss of application fees.

Therefore, I hereby establish that there are sufficient public policy considerations that justify granting, in accordance with section 25.2 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act exemptions from the criteria and obligations found in the provisions of the Regulations listed below to foreign nationals who meet the eligibility criteria and conditions set out below.

Conditions

Based on the public policy considerations outlined above, delegated officers may grant an exemption from the criteria and obligations found in the provisions listed below to foreign nationals who meet the following eligibility criteria and conditions:

* The foreign national submitted a permanent residence application after having been issued an invitation to apply pursuant to subsection 10.1(1) of the Act;
* At the time the officer received their application, the foreign national no longer met sub-paragraph 76(1)(a)(iv) and section 81 of the Regulations because the foreign national’s birthday occurred after the invitation to apply was issued;

Foreign nationals eligible under this public policy are subject to all other criteria and obligations of the Act not exempted under this public policy.

It isn't old stuff. People are just not getting the interpretion right.

It first says change in age after ITA that resulta in CRS lower than that of your draw should ordinarily be a case for refusal.

It then goes further to say that there is an exemption to age based CRS point recalculation that is covered by another section A25.2.

Simple interpretation is that age change after ITA won't affect your application.

Hi everyone.

Please I need advice.

I have received ITA but I just discovered an error. My Wes ECA report evaluated my law school as diploma which I didn't realise while I was entering the pool. I selected masters/professional degree which made my score higher. Now I realise I should have selected two or more degrees. Though my score will still be very high but not up to the present score. What should I do. Can I make changes even as I have recieved ITA.

Did you evaluate your law school or your university degree? WES won't give you full marks .lawyers use IQAS.you may need to have a redo. What's your score?
Also you can raise a CSE and ask CIC if you can claim professional degree since it's law even though wes says otherwise.
You still need to decline ITA.
You can raise CSE without submission of ITA. You will get a response in 10days

Decline the invitation. Once ita is issued your scores are locked. Decline and update your profile.
.

This is wrong. Changes occur all the time and IRCC recognises that which is why they have made accommodation for it. They lock in your scores during ITA and during E-APR. If the scores increase and you can provide documentation to back it, all well and good. If the scores reduce between ITA and E-APR and is still higher than the lowest CRS that you got the ITA for, you can still go ahead and apply. You should only decline the ITA if the recalculated scores do not meet both the MEC and CRS.

The only exemption is for age which is the exemption to A11.2 accommodated for the in the public policy considerations like Glitteringstar provided and explained.
