Hi Threadstone . . . Good morning. The thing is, with very high IELTS scores which I aim to get, I got a CRS of 441. When I take the test in Jan 18 in the US and get the projected score, I will dive into the pool immediately and I expect ITA should be out by Feb 18. I know all of these is not cast in stone, but when it's cast in stone this way, I want to think that I can use my work reference letter dated Dec 17, at Feb 18. However, i buy into your views about the statement "employed till date" that will be quoted on the letter. As such, i will hold off on getting the letter now. Abeg do you have that officer Moshood's number or do I just get to Alagbon and ask of Moshood? threadstone: |

bestdiddy: I think you can go ahead and obtain the reference letter. Since every letter is dated, stating "employed till date" shouldn't be an issue because the statement will be true as at the time the letter was written. If the duration of the employment at the time it was written is sufficient to back the work experience you claimed points for, you're good. What if a person gets sacked a week after obtaining a reference letter (which would have stated "till date", does he go back to request another one? IMO, this is even a non-issue. |

Hello guys and ladies, thank you all for the good work done on this forum. Iam planning on pursuing the PPR but i need some advice. I know a lot of questions have been answered in the previous threads but just needed some advice: Am 28 years and single with only have a BSc. Am planning on doing IELTS in jan but according to the CRS calculator(http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp?_ga=2.265805708.2012489208.1512627751-902555364.1512504714) even if i aced the test, the best i can hope for is 438 points. But according to this page of previous rounds' results(https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/become-candidate/rounds-invitations/results-previous.html), it seems the cut off points have been dropping. Am seeing so many rounds with less than 450 as the cut off points unlike in 2016 where the cutoff was always above 450. I've heard that the PNP that can raise my crs to above 450 is hard to get hence i dont want to sink money in the IELTS and EAC when my chances of getting the ITA are very slim. Your advice will be greatly appreciated. |

NikyO:You can create an account with pharmacy gateway and pebc. Licensing statement is one of the compulsory documents needed before your evaluation can start. Transcript, licensing statement and your personalized checklist documents are required before your evaluation can start. Visit www.pebc.ca for further info |

Hello people, pls i hv sum concerns which i wonder if dey r relevant or not. I went to US to hv my baby last yr, den i enrolled my older kids in private sch (like day care) which we make payments weekly as soon as the week starts. I left US last yr dec, only fr my friend dt went last month(stayed in same apartment) to bring me some mails of demand notice from the sch stating i was owing fr 2 weeks in between which isn't possible cos payments r done upfront weekly and der s no way for example i can not pay fr first week in nov and den start paying Again 2nd week of November. Any way am trying to sort dt out. The issue now dt d first demand notice got to d address dec 2016 and dey hv been writing witout my knowledge, The debt has even been transferred to a collecting agency and the last letter said that dey hv contacted me severally and hv now reported to credit reporting agencies. I got all letters today sealed! I hv been speaking to d sch all day so while i try to sort out the issue with the sch whom am sure i am not owing, i hope this will not affect my application . I hope to submit by next week. Anyone with advice for me pls help |

For those looking for PNP opportunities, please check out Nova Scotia. They will be opening at approximately 2 p.m. AST (around 7pm Naija time according to Google) on Saturday, Dec. 9, to accept 175 to 225 applications. superdoll: Unless you're trying to get a loan from CIC, I don't see how this affects anything. Stop worrying already and submit joor. On the other hand, try and do minimum payment or do a payment plan with them just so you're in the clear (for clean conscience sake). Ultimately, the issues are not related in anyway. Good luck! |

Am happy to be here. Have been gaining a lot from dis thread and ur contributions. God bless u all and make our dreams come through. I will really appreciate ur prompt comments on my questions. 1. I ve a B. SC. and PGDE. can dez be regarded as two or more certs? Which do I do ECA on? 2. I ve two kids and is planning to leave with them. Their dad is not coming along, at least not for now. I was hoping it wld be cheaper, cld I be mistaken? Will my husband's application fee as well as PR fee be paid even dow he isnt going? What about his medicals? I also read dat parental permission will be required from d spouse not travelling. Does anyone know what dis requirement is all about? I ve other issues but will leave that for later. Tx all in anticipation. |
