The recruitment and selection is complete. I heard they will contact those selected soon but I'm not sure when.

I heard there will still be another intake of 200 in DPR after this 400 we are all struggling for o. Probably towards end of next year.. Only that I'm not sure if they will take from the other pool of candidates that won't make this particular set that have gone through the Test and Interview or they will conduct another one entirely. I don't hav further info so pls don't finish me with questions. As time goes on, more info will come out. Gudluck everyone!

I have one question

How many are they likely going to take in this present recruitment?

Is anyone slated for Interview in Lagos on the 14th? ??

The addition would be nice but I am wondering if it is only intended for HND, GT or EH or a combination of some or all of them.

Speak for yourself. There is no VIP and if you had read previous posts, you would have noticed that candidates who missed their interview were referred to Abuja.

In kano, we were addressed before the interview.

We were told not to go into the interview room with the mindset that it is all for formality.

The man informed us that many of them did not know anybody during their time.

He admitted that there are powers above who tried to hijack the recruitment but they fought them to stand still to ensure that provisions are made for us.

I don't know about you but my own case is settled in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen !!!!

Nope! It's more like, the masses (we the regular people) have been given the opportunity to interview (just for the formalities) these first two weeks... While the VIPs (those with strong connection) are spread over the next week till 22nd.

That's just my own weird conspiracy theory for today.

Yes they may have gotten the jobs without knowing anybody but that was so many years ago. Nigeria wasn't this bad then in terms of competition and political influence.

Btw, can you give a rough idea of the percentage of the provision made for 'us' and that of the hijacked ones (if any)?

It's obvious that DPR do not compromise on competence of staff.

A lot of candidates that didn't know anybody got the job in 2013. In fact, many people rated the recruitment 80% merit. This was under GEJ and Dieziani Madueke as petroleum minister.

Just be prayerful and hope that your cumulative score(apt test and interview scores) is high enough to earn you an offer letter from them. The consultants are still very much in charge, they are the quite or silent ones on every interview panel, they just observe and record.

... Guy, it is pure lie. No consultant was in the interview. Some of us had only 2 interviewer and both was asking questions, they are all DPR staffs.

if its 400 people they are picking. its 11 per state. minus fct abuja who usually has the smallest allocation.

na that rubbish gan gan dey kill youths from the south. someone from the north that will score 50 but because he is probably the best in his state will be given appointment. then another from the south who scored 80 but maybe comes a distant 20th in his state will not be given appointment. how long shall we continue to live like this.

. I presume d other man dat was observing and asked u your state of origin is a rep of FCC. Dis recruitment may not be 100% credible, but d credibility is far above 70%. Only time shall tell!

Hello oo.. if you had a 3rd silent person in the corner during your interview...that was a rep from federal character! They were present in most depts just to hav an overview of the process. You know there's no final selection without approval with letter of compliance from federal character..

So Federal character was also present there, any how, I know that God was also present in my case and He will surely see me through.
