WEIRDPC: Seriously What of if the school applied for requires you to be present before within a month ... will visa process still take up to 19 weeks ?? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Austinpee4: 6:36pm On Dec 13, 2017 |
LagosismyHome:The stipulated processing time at any time on CIC's website does not always mean applications will stay through that time frame. It only means and shows the window period opened by that visa office for study permit applications due to several factors that can be encountered during processing including high volume of applications. Majority of applications do not stay that long. Only on few cases. So applicants should be more concerned about putting in a good and strong application meeting the requirements and then stay positive. Decisions can be randomly made and/or on a rolling basis. 3 Likes |

I reapplied to St Mary's university for MTEI program (Master of Technology and entrepreneurship innovation) since they don't defer graduate admission. I was offered admission 1st December for a start program September 2018. I plan to apply for study permit by last week in January 2018. Now my clarifications are s follows: 1. Is it advisable that I use my spouse as my sponsor? (we have a joint account that has funds in it even though my spouse's personal /salary account does have substantial turnover. Also, recall that when I last applied for study permit that is was denied I used my elder sister as my Co sponsor. 2. I need your suggestions on what can address home ties. (GCMS states that I don't have home ties meanwhile I have Canadian trv that is had used early this year. 3. Standard sample SOP to address this creation raised on my denial. Further suggestions are welcome. Dear Sir/Ma, I can vividly remember your case but not too sure about your profile anymore. Your case is different and very easy to tackle, more so that you have gotten your report. Kindly share your profile and let's work on it together. As I read your comment, I must confess am not too happy with what am reading on this VOs report not to even talk of someone that got delayed after 27weeks. Kindly share your profile and juxtapose it with this report and let's see to it if you believe the Canadian journey really worth it. Those granted never had two heads but I believe the right thing and putting God first really matter. So try to give it another trial and never discourage if truly you know that the journey to Canada really worth it. [/quote] |

Dominic147:I think you should please tell the house if it's Masters or what it is you put in for. I presented some of these yet I got the exact mail after 13weeks (same with awuf). I just feel thats the reasons for this season. I need help too as to how to tackle the reason (though have ordered the notes too) |

After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds: • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit. • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the limited employment prospects in your country of residence. • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your current employment situation. • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status. This was the mail I got after 13 weeks. Any advise from on the house how I can tackle the reasons stated here? Thanks in anticipation The documents submitted are: Sponsor's SOA showing about 10M cash inflow 1st installment payment of tuition 10k CAD living expenses (bank draft) A future letter of employment and deferment And other cic documents I put in for a year technical certificate course |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Nogen: 9:45pm On Dec 13, 2017 |
TRV approved in 3 days!!! My husband visit visa just got approved in 3 days !!! We initially applied on the 24th of November and he was refused on the 1st of Dec. It was our fault because we didn't do somethings right , especially with documentation to prove he is returning after some weeks. He was refused based on Travel history, Assets (Home Ties). He is a very busy person that even when he got a visa years back, he didn't use it. He never really likes travelling. Lol. Then, we didn't include documents to show his 4 landed property in Nigeria, his shares, etc. He reapplied on the 8th of Dec with copies of deeds of assignments on his 4 property , his shares certificates in about 11 companies, power of attorney on clients property he is managing, listed all the major companies and individuals he is servicing as a solicitor and attorney. He made a reservation at a hotel in the city we are going to. The document was also attached. Then , he enclosed a Letter of Explanation to address his lack of travel history, why he needs to travel with us, his home ties . I tried to get someone to help with his letter as Oga hardly had time that period. The person asked me to pay 20k! 20k, for SOP? He was even asking that we postpone our travel date! That we wouldn't get a visa that soon. Hian! Like he is the one giving the TRV. I totally called his bluff and went ahead with my plans. Some of us here are beginning to act like God. Anyway, when Oga returned from work, I told him about the situation. He said he will create time to write it. I shouldn't pay a dime to anyone. 1am on the day he submitted his application, we got up, while I helped him fill his application online, he wrote a beautiful piece and addressed every concern of the VO one after the other . I then helped him type it out, printed and arranged his documents one after the other. In fact, we didn't sleep that night. We finished by 7 am and began to prepare for work. Both of us driving to our offices. We just advised each other to avoid any long distance driving that could make us sleep on the steering. Now, my mind is at peace. Been cracking my head on how to handle 3 active toddlers on this journey alone. Also, how to cope till I get a permanent accommodation. At least, he will sort us out and help us settle in well before he returns to his job in January. Note: Believe in yourself, in as much as you seek advise from the 'gurus' here, trust your instinct, believe you can also do the task. There are people here who would genuinely help you without collecting a dime. Some have turned it a business venture. That's why I always commend Maziude. He never asked for a dime. In fact, he helped me at some point post a document to Quebec with his money. I haven't met him physically and I look forward to doing that. My husband and I can't wait to see him in Canada. Thanks all. If you need help with your SOP, kindly send me an email nogen1234@yahoo.com. Will be able to assist some people before we leave for Canada. It is free of charge please . 31 Likes |

Frankrobbn1: Thanks. He's returning back to Naija in January. At least, I have an adult to help me with the kids during the transit and he will help us get a decent accommodation before he returns to his job in Naija. By then, the kids are already registered in a Daycare. I can now focus on my studies . All the best to those who are waiting on their TRV. 3 Likes |

Dominic147:Good day and sorry for the visa delay. Could you please tell the house 1-the program you applied for Msc or Pgd? 2-Did your SOP answer questions like why you’re going outside the country to study instead of Nigeria? your plans after the program? Why the program is important to you? 3-I am assuming the 6mill was paid into a dom acc to show you’re ready to spend the currrency in Canada. Also as a company director did you present any personal financial statement to show you’ve been earning with a reasonable amount saved up 4- the program you’re going for is it in relation with your previous study Looking forward to your reply |

Nogen: Please @Nogen, you'll be doing this forum a great service by naming and shaming the fellow that asked for a fee to write SOP for you. Though, this forum is faceless but we can begin to get to know that most people blaming policemen that extort us aren't totally different from them if the opportunity presents itself to them. 9 Likes |

adexyz91:Sorry about the visa delay. I’m aure with a well packaged application you can get your study visa. My question are - Did your Sop answer question like, why Canada not Nigeria? Your plans after the program? Stating out clearly what you’ve been doing for the past years - If you’ve been working here in Nigeria did you present personal financial doc to show you’ve been earning ? - Is the program related to your previous academic degree ? Looking forward to your reply |

The main reason you were denied was the duration of the course, one year is very short, go for a two or three years course adexyz91: |
