Discrediting players based on age is quite petty. Emphasis should be on performance not age.

How about basketball? LeBron James is 32 and still looks unstoppable. I watch him power through games and dominate much younger players with ruthless abandon.

Stated above are 3 physically demanding sports. One may even argue these sports are much more physically demanding than football, yet the best in these sports aren't teenagers.

I don't know why people insist we must go to the world cup with an U23 team. Not when the last 4 world cup finals have been contested by older and experienced teams.

I have been at a EPL academy and there is a boy brought not from West Africa in the U 12 category. He is killing everyone but they have shaved 2/3 years of his age.

I know boys brought in from Guinea Bissau at thus stage just two years off the age and he's top of the group. And will remain top until first team one of these boys has a transfer fee now of £8 million.

So the quest for competitive advantage causes corrupt practices even here. So I doubt that Nigeria will be any different.

I will tell you u have association with academies in Nigeria and Benin city in particular. And it's not hidden what they are doing.

That there are exceptional players in low level leagues is not in doubt. However, they stand out and end up leaving as they become so outstanding.

If we pick players from low level leagues they should be unquestionably outstanding. That's my position.

I know about Sokari. He's used to be dubbed as the "Nigerian iniesta" those days. My point is many said Rohr is looking for someone to replicate Onazi's work and I'm asking why Sokari and not Joel Obi and Azubuike?? Both have better defensive qualities and offer more versatility(especially Joel Obi). I'm not against inviting him but it'd be unfair if someone like J Obi doesn't get an opportunity as well.

Thats y in modern day football, there is no such thing as starting 11 anymore. Else you get predictable every now and then. And what happens when members of ur supposed startin 11 get injured?

If club managers arent bias and will play according to their strengths, the results will be there for all to see. Look at Arsenal's last game! They played with the intensity required. Careers have been made and destroyed simply because someone finds himself in a good or bad situation. A few years back Christian Benteke was setting the EPL on fire. Where is he now? A few years ago Wilfred Bony was one of the hottest strikers in the EPL. Where is he today? A few years ago, Joe Hart was being called one of the best goalkeepers in the world but the arrival of Pep practically spelled doom to his career.

Seriously guys, we need to think twice before criticizing some of our players. Sometimes it takes more than "hard work" to get ahead in this world.

The EPL will not change for any player. You have to hit the ground running, time is a very scarce commodity you get 2/ 3 games to show your quality after that if you don't know show quality. You could be dropped.

You know I will say this again my DNA is Nigerian I like show boating, skills and flair. I have had to realise sometimes, it's just playing to the gallery and it's not always resulting in effective delivery for advantage in the field of play.

Nathan Oduwa has the skills and technical ability. But his delivery to gain advantage is some how missing. His work rate and anticipation is suspect. He has been seriously over taken in my opinion by small boys in Tottenham.

I remember Tega Onomah at Tottenham too he was playing all that show boating stuff. He has changed reading the game working hard incredible anticipation and the eye for a killer defence splitting pass. Totally unselfish.

Mark my words next season I see him making waves.
