JUST IN: Enyeama's coach fired! -

.com - source

Dec 15, 2017 1:00 PM

Vincent Enyeama's coach at the French club, Lille, Marcelo Bielsa has been fired.

The arrival of Bielsa at Lille has never added anything positive for Enyeama; hence it would not be surprising if the former Nigeria international does not lose sleep over Friday's development.

The 62-year-old former Argentina, Chile and Athletic Bilbao coach, who is acclaimed by the likes of Pep Guardiola, Mauricio Pochettino and Jorge Sampaoli as a coaching visionary, was appointed by Lille amid great fanfare this May.

Biesla was installed as head coach as Les Dogues underwent a huge squad overhaul, with former Barcelona vice-president Marc Ingla and ex-Monaco technical director Luis Campos brought on to the board by ambitious new owner Gerard Lopez.

But a 3-0 victory over Nantes on the opening weekend of the Ligue 1 season proved to be a false dawn as Lille took three points from nine subsequent winless matches.

Bielsa was summoned to a meeting with Lille officials for "an interview prior to a possible dismissal".

However, his lawyer confirmed his client did not attend that meeting and the club finally confirmed his departure via a brief statement on their Twitter page on Friday.

These guys are in massive debt and will be relegated if they don't raise a certain amount of money. Where will they get the money to pay Bielsa off?? Bielsa has always been a psycho sha....not surprised he's gotten sacked.

19 year old Saturday Erimuya has joined Cadiz in the Spanish second division. He was in Siasia's olympic team and was introduced in the 92nd minute of the 3rd place match.

Cadiz is currently top of the Second division and could be playing in La liga next year. He will be available for their next game.

Oliseh's team is top of the Jupiler league... Impressive... He is building a good reputation.
I'm so happy for him... He has been outstanding with Sittard winning home and away matches with a side full of u-23players is amazing...

He might just land himself a better deal If he secures promotion @ the end of the season...

I was shocked and disappointed when I heard the news. Na so our unbeating run end. But I hope NFF will make the right call.

Our technical committe needs to sit-up and do their job and stop canvasing for their favourite players to get in to the team.

Having gone through some pages, I've decided not to draw us back into old and dusted arguements so we won't go round in cycles though I have some reservations to some opinions here like the recall of Old/retiring legs to KC's hibernating career and the call for Alloy's head. You guys have done more than enough justice to these issues.

Kudos

How do you know they are all U13.

I have been at a EPL academy and there is a boy brought not from West Africa in the U 12 category. He is killing everyone but they have shaved 2/3 years of his age.

I know boys brought in from Guinea Bissau at thus stage just two years off the age and he's top of the group. And will remain top until first team one of these boys has a transfer fee now of £8 million.

So the quest for competitive advantage causes corrupt practices even here. So I doubt that Nigeria will be any different.

I will tell you u have association with academies in Nigeria and Benin city in particular. And it's not hidden what they are doing.

So if you think I will be made to feel that my experiential observation are incorrect that will simply not work.

The problem we have mirrors the Nigerian situation we know that most police and politician are corrupt. That we find it hard to believe that any honest ones exist, there will be but, we all remain skeptical.

so even with the pix added up there u still feel those boys are more than the u13 that they are abi... continue ooo. to u everything African x wrong and full of lies and corruption but the whites are god abi they r just perfect well I no kukuma blame u.

but Bro do you know Mowe Ibafo area.....? yes that place between Lagos state n Ogun state, when u pass redemption camp, just branch at MFM Prayer City, u need prayers and deliverance from the spirit of "nothing good comes from 9ja".

I just weak 4 u oo. when the pic of the Moroccan u15 team flooded here with all their beards wey me wey over 20 no even get, u no talk oo we no see u question their ages o, because they r "white Africans" abi so they r excused from the age cheating case abi.

to me I think u r obsessed with 2 things 1) The white Skin 2) Epl. u worship them.
