LOL. Sandro was an after-thought; everyone knew Juve would not sell except £60M+. The next best option was Mendy which Conte tried ever so hard to sign including meeting the £52M valuation of Monaco. The powers that be tried to prevail on Mendy to go but once he heard about Pep's interest in him said he would play under no other manager.

The story is online that his agent would tell him "but Chelsea are the champs" to which Mendy would retort "but this is Pep. Everyone wants to play for Pep".

That's because Pep has a style and it takes time and energy to master that style. It's not about changing of formation or grinding out results, but playing a particular dominating, ball possession way always.

I'm just surprised the team has been able to play that way in such a short time especially in the EPL. the guy is good abeg. It has shown on the field and position on the table.

I didn't say that. People are saying the team is great and that is why they are playing this way but that's not true. What I see in the team is long hours of practice and paying attention to every detail.

You are actually right and I give Conte credit for it. Another manager had lied that those players could not do diddly squat and that he raised them to a level above what they could achieve.

But then, Pep has a style he likes to play. In fact, that is why he is sought after - his style and success. So he may not have won anything with that squad, true, but he would have signed players that fit his philosophy and Chelsea would have been Man City of this season.

Tim Sherwood said something after the Tottenham game and I agreed with him. He said "if Pep was managing this Tottenham squad, he would have won the league with them". I could not agree more.

dude am not saying the guy is not good my stance is,the guy always have the best squad in the league before he starts winning titles and sometimes do not deliver[bayern in 2016 UCL],the way he is being overpraised by his fanboys just tire me,are you telling me that conte wont will the with this city squad even if it isnt half as flashy?
