It’s high time Nigeria govt stand up as a sovereign nation and tell USA to Bleep off with their fucking money

Are you not ashamed of yourself when America threaten your country that if Nigeria doesn’t follow her instruction to abstain from the voting process, she ll punish your country?

What is your sense of pride?

How do you feel when a USA citizen is proudly talking about his country while your own country is cowing whenever USA sneezes?

We should all be proud of our great country at this point in time for standing against USA foreign policy.

The USA citizens see our continent as a result of their government propaganda via CNN and BBC like animal farm where monkey live due to the fact that African leaders and citizens parade themselves without self respect and full patriotism.

128 have called USA fuckingg bluff and there is nothing on USA table to use against Nigeria.

Margaret Thatcher tried this Nonsense with Nigeria in early 80s when Nigeria Airway was grounded in UK. If it was now, i guess all these sissy men in this generation would have asked this strong and patriotic man called Buhari to chicken in and take a defeat. Thank God for giving us a man with national pride who told Britain that Nigeria ll give Britain 48hrs to release Nigeria Airways with 3 British Airways already grounded in Nigeria in retaliation. Nigeria gave British Embassy staff 48hrs to start packing their bags to leave Nigeria while Nigeria diplomats were asked to return home. What a National pride!

What is wrong with you guys in this generation without Shame? So you expected Nigeria to stay away from election cos USA say so. Pathetic!

In all your years of relationship with USA, tell me what have you gain as a country from that relationship in terms of social infrastructures, FDI and technology.

The little new infrastructures you see in Nigeria and other countries in Africa are made possible by China within the last five years of Africa relationship with China.

Finally, in the midst of Nigeria war against Bono Haram during Jonathan Administration, Nigeria govt did everything possible to get some military hardwares from USA with our money but what did USA do? She refused to sell to Nigeria with the help of Congress. USA even went as far blocking other countries from selling to us hence why we lost over billion of naira to South Africa when we were trying to get those military wares clandestinely. Thank God for Russia who later stepped in and help Nigeria out.

USA can’t hold us to ransom. It’s high time we throw their help to their face and tell them to Hell off.

The only economic power they have over Nigeria is our trade deal with USA which is our oil. If USA decide not to buy our oil, there are over 150 countries around the world ready to buy it. Why the stress?

If Ghana could proudly voted against USA foreign policy with the rest of the world like what we had few days ago, you guys lamenting and whining about why Nigeria shouldn’t have voted against it are nothing but freaking wimps and deserved to be castrated cos you are not real men.

128 countries stood together against tyranny and here you are telling 50 reasons why Nigeria shouldn’t have voted against USA. Bleep off Dawg.

If USA raises a resolution tomorrow that’s fair to the world, Nigeria is ready to work with USA.

Peace
If you can't beat them join them, right now we are dependent on the US for so many things, it's not yet time to give them the middle finger.

Your president is a slave to America. He derives his powers from washington.

He went there recently begging for arms and money. In 2019, the presidential contestants including the incumbent will still go to America for validation.

Voting for palestine will not make you less independent. That is just a shortsighted move to satisfy islamic desires while cutting yourselves from a true alliance from the world's only natural superpower. The greatest superpower in the history of the world.

If you want to do away from amaerican influence, then stop voting for moronns for buhari.

A beggar that can't even fund the consistent Hivdrugs for her citizens deos not have the luxury of independence that France, UK and Germany has.

If they start funding IPOB today then America and Israel hypocrisy would be crystal clear to the rest of the world. You support a separatist in a faraway country thousands of miles away but can't do same to the ones in your backyard. Besides many of the big countries that voted against the US have some form of separatist in their nations too, The world is watching. If they can aid Nigeria own, That means they can aid the ones in Tibet china, The ones in India, the ones in catalonia, the ones in Scotland, the ones in Morroco, the ones in basically every nations that voted against them. It would just end up being a proxy war between Biafras and Nigeria 2.0, And you know what? Nigeria always wins a proxy war. So my Friend relax, We are still on the winning sides. One Nation cannot hold the world to ransom any more.
you are funny. They funded terrorrist to oust libyan president. They funded terrorrist to destroy syria. Which hypocrisy? They dont even need to fund IPOB directly. UN is not against self determination so there is nothing like separatist. So if america support IPOB today....you will be surprised!!!. And maybe you dont know....brexit is a continental separatist movement and trump supported them. That biafrans want to go on its own is not a sin....and all those countries you mentioned will rather sit up if they see america support IPOB rather than go against them. Spain will be scared of america supporting catalonia so if America supports IPOB, spain wont want a similar thing so they will be careful messing with them

When the Polio and tuberculosis vaccines, Hiv drugs, e.t.c in storage finishes, i hope your govt will look to the Arab league for funding or better still do it yourself.

If your govt goes cap in hand to America henceforth, Donald Trump could serve your nation a public disgrace.

Ottoman Empire invaded and occupied that land. Isreal only repossessed their possession.
Why 1,000 years ago?
Why not 5,000 or 10,000 years
So where would you be if went back 1,000 years ago to redraw Nigeria's map?

The debate as to which own the land will forever b inconclusive.... The land is Israel's ancestral land...but was occupied by the Palestine when they were taken captive during Biblical era.
So based on ancestral lineage, it belong to Israel..
But since occupancy shows possession...the land belongs to Palestine...
So u see how inconclusive d debate is

You are just ranting.

Nigerian policy on Palestine has always been Neutrality.

Nigeria voted out of religious sentiment and we are going to pay heavily for it. Not just in terms of aids, but a changed US interest in Nigeria. Believe me, US might push for a regime change in 2019 as short term goal.

The long term goal might be a weakened Nigeria and the only way to do this is disintegration. If IPOB plays their card well, we might be in trouble.

Rubbish commentary.

So Ghana with a christian president, also voted out of religious sentiments?

128 countries voted for justice:

West Jerusalem for Israel

East Jerusalem for Palestine.

Are you aware that majority of inhabitants of East Jerusalem, are Palestinians?

Being neutral is injustice. What then is the essence of UN?

And you think those supporting Israel and USA are not being sentimental.

Sentiments can be ascribe to all positions, whether you are for ,against or neutral.

But the question is:

Which of the sentiments reflect justice most?

1. Simply admit that NIGERIA under Buhari goofed this time. Yes we are a sovereign nation but no nation stands alone, you need allies and common sense says don't work against your ally.

Do you know the contribution of USAID alone in combating infant and maternal mortality in Northern Nigeria alone? Who funds the USAID? what happens if such aid programmes are stopped?

And how much of USAID contribution is going back to American's consultants?
Tell us the budget for USAID. I challenge you
How much of the data we give to them is necessary? Have you considered the espionage angle?
We dare America to withdraw aids to all the 128 countries and see how it will be more secure

Milonis:
2. Isreal is open to a two-state case but the Arabs are not. Isreal is open to the Arabs having a country of theirs so long as it demilitarized cos you cant give your adversary military

It is Israel that is opposed to a 2-state policy
Has the Palestinians not recognised Israel?
Is Israel not talking about negotiation while grabbing more Palestinian land
Of all the countries in the ME only Israel is expanding its territory

Milonis:
4. The Arabs are not ready for peace. They still dream of and working towards the annihilation of Isreal.
How would they show they are ready for peace?
Even Saudi Arabia cooperates with Israel
Israel is the one using propaganda to play a victim role

Judaism, Christianity and Islam all lay claim to Jerusalem; Trump has unilaterally awarded to one of the parties

5. The countries voting against every Trump move are just PC Police nothing more.
This is the reason why every country will like to have nuclear weapons
If you want peace, treat the weak of today fairly
In the 50s, America invaded North Korea, can they do so now?

The OP has made valid points. However, you have relegated Nigeria to a beggarly position in international politics which is hopelessly dependent on the US. That is a misconception. The US benefit from us as much as we benefit from them regardless of our stands on matters. The US do not partner with us because they love us and want to help us, they do because they get ten times what they give to us.

It is better we break free from this AMERICA will know mentality and learn to be independent for once. We cannot let one country to dictate for us because they feel superior and we accept we are inferior.

Typical Nigerians(Africans in general) reasoning with their emotions instead of their heads.
Sane country votes based on their interest and not some meaningless ideals.
Countries evaluate the risk-benefit analysis of supporting a position before
doing so but Nigeria, a country battling Islamic terrorists and many secessionist
groups think it wise to vote against the resolution because Palestinians are Muslim
as if them being Muslim benefits Nigeria in any way. Being a muslim didn't save
Nigerians from being sold as slave in Libya and it didn't stop the gulf countries
from treating Nigerian maids as slaves.

Tell me one single positivity that will result from this stupid decision?
I can tell you many long-term negative consequences.

Huh and what about Britain who will undoubtedly support us in case of a civil war, will America risk supporting Biafra against the UK interest. And don't forget Russia who is always looking for trouble. Biafra want to go is not a Sin but Palestinians taking their land back is? Look how you comfortably mentioned the UN as if it isn't the same UN resolution that got us arguing now, If Israel and the US can comfortably ignore the UN resolution, rules. What messages are they sending to the rest of the world? And brexit is not a separatist movement they are just pulling out of a union, the European union which is not a nation. Like Nigeria pulling out of Ecowas or Africa Union. Now the separatist movement is Scotland in the UK.

Which of the sentiments reflect justice most?

hmmmmmmm

JERUSALEM IS THE ETERNAL CAPITAL OF ISREAL.

It has been so for several millennia; even before the birth of the first Jihadist. It is the will of God.

God is a Friend to the friends of Isreal, and an Enemy to their enemies (Exodus 23:22). Standing against Jerusalem makes you God's enemy. CAN NIGERIA STAND BEING GOD'S ENEMY?
