From what I just read, the op knows nothing about politics, power, decision making and even how to stand up for himself.
It only proves that should someone threaten you today, you would give in. Pure a d simple.
Yes, the US threatened all nations of the world, so what you as the leader of a country would certainly have done is to raise a white flag and do as you are told simply because you are afraid of losing friendship with such body? Man, you just proved one point : never should you be given a portfolio either in politics or organization.
Guy, I dey wonder how you go manage your house o. Think am na, robbers enter your house, pint gun for your head and ask where your wife and daughters dey. E mean say you go tell them so that dem fit rape your wife and kids just to spare your life.

Mrnairalandd: It’s high time Nigeria govt stand up as a sovereign nation and tell USA to Bleep off with their fucking money
Are you not ashamed of yourself when America threaten your country that if Nigeria doesn’t follow her instruction to abstain from the voting process, she ll punish your country?
What is your sense of pride?
How do you feel when a USA citizen is proudly talking about his country while your own country is cowing whenever USA sneezes?
We should all be proud of our great country at this point in time for standing against USA foreign policy.
The USA citizens see our continent as a result of their government propaganda via CNN and BBC like animal farm where monkey live due to the fact that African leaders and citizens parade themselves without self respect and full patriotism.
128 have called USA fuckingg bluff and there is nothing on USA table to use against Nigeria.
Margaret Thatcher tried this Nonsense with Nigeria in early 80s when Nigeria Airway was grounded in UK. If it was now, i guess all these sissy men in this generation would have asked this strong and patriotic man called Buhari to chicken in and take a defeat. Thank God for giving us a man with national pride who told Britain that Nigeria ll give Britain 48hrs to release Nigeria Airways with 3 British Airways already grounded in Nigeria in retaliation. Nigeria gave British Embassy staff 48hrs to start packing their bags to leave Nigeria while Nigeria diplomats were asked to return home. What a National pride!
What is wrong with you guys in this generation without Shame? So you expected Nigeria to stay away from election cos USA say so. Pathetic!
In all your years of relationship with USA, tell me what have you gain as a country from that relationship in terms of social infrastructures, FDI and technology.
The little new infrastructures you see in Nigeria and other countries in Africa are made possible by China within the last five years of Africa relationship with China.
Finally, in the midst of Nigeria war against Bono Haram during Jonathan Administration, Nigeria govt did everything possible to get some military hardwares from USA with our money but what did USA do? She refused to sell to Nigeria with the help of Congress. USA even went as far blocking other countries from selling to us hence why we lost over billion of naira to South Africa when we were trying to get those military wares clandestinely. Thank God for Russia who later stepped in and help Nigeria out.
USA can’t hold us to ransom. It’s high time we throw their help to their face and tell them to Hell off.
The only economic power they have over Nigeria is our trade deal with USA which is our oil. If USA decide not to buy our oil, there are over 150 countries around the world ready to buy it. Why the stress?
If Ghana could proudly voted against USA foreign policy with the rest of the world like what we had few days ago, you guys lamenting and whining about why Nigeria shouldn’t have voted against it are nothing but freaking wimps and deserved to be castrated cos you are not real men.
128 countries stood together against tyranny and here you are telling 50 reasons why Nigeria shouldn’t have voted against USA. Bleep off Dawg.
If USA raises a resolution tomorrow that’s fair to the world, Nigeria is ready to work with USA.

You naive ignoramus.
Your president is a slave to America. He derives his powers from washington.
He went there recently begging for arms and money. In 2019, the presidential contestants including the incumbent will still go to America for validation. Who is deceiving who here?
Voting for palestine will not make you less independent. That is just a shortsighted move to satisfy islamic desires while cutting yourselves from a true alliance from the world's only natural superpower. The greatest superpower in the history of the world.
If you want to do away from american influence, then stop voting for moronns for buhari and take responsibility for your national devt.
A beggar that can't even fund the consistent Hiv drugs for her citizens does not have the luxury of independence that France, UK and Germany has.
Nikki Haley already said'' America will remember this day when the rest of the world come running to America for their support and influence like they always do'' So you mean Atiku as contestant would fly to US ?

Lol!
What a pathetic mentality!
If you get married tomorrow and your boss show interest in your wife, pls, ask him to Bleep your wife simply cos he pay your wages.
If you have any self worth, you ll realise it’s time to move and find a new job.
If Ghana which is more foreign dependant and smaller than Nigeria in all ramifications could vote against USA foreign policy and you wimps are saying this thrash, you all deserve to be castrated.
I now agreed with old generation that our generation is not ready, strong and matured to attain the position of leadership.
Imagine all these wimps as Leaders of countries in Africa, gosh! It ll be disastrous and disgraceful how these countries ll be turned to objects of ridicule in comity of nations as a result of sissy men leaders.
Gaddafi changed the story of Libya to wealthy nation on earth not cos of being like you wimps but a strong leader who doesn’t care whose ox is gored when his national interest is at stake.
Historically, leaders who are like you wimps are abound in Africa since independence of all African countries except few such as Gaddafi of Libya, Kwame Nkrumah of Ghana. Despite all these Yes-Sir leaders in all African countries, Africa remained the most poverty stricken continent in the world with citizens being rendered useless and worthless like you wimps everyday. I cried for you wimps. As shameful and disgraceful as this may sound, francophone countries are paying France for being colonised. What a shame!
I spit on you African Youth.
Why won’t the whole world sell you as slaves? Tell me why?
Americans fought British Empire to build the country they are proud of today and many souls were sacrificed to achieve that.
If they were like you wimps, they ll discourage one another to obey the status quo then and remained under British Empire which would have robbed their great children today of America dreams they all enjoy today.
Wake up people and stop telling the world that you guys are available as salves as a result of fear.
Never ever run from your fear in life cos if you do, you ll never live in peace. Face your fear and conquer your world.
Peace.
You are just too much! Allow my boss to sleep with my wife because he pays my wages? Keep quiet or neutral against UNResolution because a powerful country demands so? #IStandWithUNResolutions The same idiots supporting USA will on other issues not involving Israel, demand respect. For UN resolutions and human rights declaration. Religious bigots! Painfully, this issue is not religious but justice : West Jerusalem for Israel East Jerusalem for Palestine.Majority of inhabitants of East Jerusalem, are Palestinians!! 2 Likes |

Peace thank you for this wonderful reply. Some of these dingbats in this country are annoying and embarrassing. Look at watery reasons the dunderhead gave. They should tell us to adopt same-sex marriage too since US has done that. As if other countries that voted against the US did that because of religion. The same US that refused to sell arms to us, saw what we were able to do with we what we have in prosecuting the war, they want to be part of the story and victory cos they always feel there shouldn't be a victory without them, they now made a u-turn and are now saying they'd sell arm to us. What happened to leahy law overnight, I don't know. US is not more important than the 128 countries that voted. Even the traditional neutral country like Switzerland voted against US on this. The OP didn't tell us about this. What becomes of the dollar if the 128 countries decide to trade in another currency? US is not bigger than all of us. 2 Likes |

Peace in foreign policy and generally in international politics, flimsy interests are rarely countenanced. Your dicta is wrought with "egoistic rhetorics". Exactly where the military finished your country with their ignorance. As an expert, I would educate you a bit on this but I really do not have such time now. If you base foreign policy arguments on such note as yours, your country will remain less like the rest of the crowd you whose bravado you extol. Same Principle a bit applicable in personal relations. Ask Mugabe some questions. In international politics, you chose your friends as well as your enemies carefully and try to maintain real diplomacy in relating, "depending on the position you occupy in the global scheme of things" . Mark this as its very important. Sorry that what I can say for now. 2 Likes |

128 countries muslim? You guys have a disdain for truth
How many times will you guys accuse him of destroying Nigeria. Even he goes to t he gents, you will accuse him When Jonathan stood up to UK and US to sign the same- sex prohibition act, he did not destroy Nigeria. Did he
Paelstine and SADR were never part of Israel and Morocco respectively If you oppose Palestine, the case for Biafra is totally gone
So because of oil, the importance of which is even declining, we might as well be asked to merge with another country LIKE WISE IF BUHARI STANDS AGAINST BIAFRA PALESTINE IS GONE FOR GOOD? WELL HE CAN'T STOP US |

pimper24: in foreign policy and generally in international politics, sentiments are rarely countenanced.
Joke, right? Oh, expert on what really? 1 Like |

Don't mind them. Their brains are messed up. You called something a United Nation and all what everyone wants is neutrality of member nations. So much for the much needed world peace. 1 Like |

You are just ranting.
Nigerian policy on Palestine has always been Neutrality.
Nigeria voted out of religious sentiment and we are going to pay heavily for it. Not just in terms of aids, but a changed US interest in Nigeria. Believe me, US might push for a regime change in 2019 as short term goal.
The long term goal might be a weakened Nigeria and the only way to do this is disintegration. If IPOB plays their card well, we might be in trouble.
Clearly you are the one who is being sentimental here. You obviously know nothing about sovereignty. It seems a lot of your type have long been subliminally lobotomised by the west. Are you even aware that Britain (our colonial masters) did not vote in support of the relocation 1 Like |

Who is questioning the superpower status of the US?
Is there any nation in the world that can defeat America in a war?
The fact that a country has a couple of Nukes does not make a superpower. The US would obliterate North korea if it gets to that.
But, America will never give the first punch. Not with the possiblity of a Nuclear conflict that would inevitably see the end of North korea.
America is only waiting for North korea to hit an american assets be it Japan, S.Korea or Guam even with a feather which would be the justification they need, and then hell and fury that the world has never seen will fall on North korea with nobody to help them.

This is putin admitting that the US is the world sole superpower. Russia and China know their limits. It is Nigerians that under-estimate the scale and might of the united states of America.
Do not test the USA. Russia has more nukes that any country... u guys should stop saying no country can defeat us.... in fact am sure Russia is behind the possession of nuke by NK.. US knows it's limits too.. |

Now that Nigeria have voted for palestine at the risk of angering a benefactor like the USA, what have you gained? Being on the side of justice is enough. Belonging to the side that truly care for everlasting peace is not bad. Encouraging Nigeria to be neutral just not to stand opposing USA reckless and unilateral decision is like asking our president to use the sufferings of Palestinians to his own advantage. 3 Likes |

Peace NONSENSE!!! NO DIPLOMATIC SENSE AT ALL. LIKE A BABY TALKING AMONG ELDERS 3 Likes |

Nikki Haley already said'' America will remember this day when the rest of the world come running to America for their support and innfluence like they always do'' rubbish talk. HIV is funded by NGO's like Bill Gates foundation, WHO, etc, and not the American govt. |
