currentprice: So access bank still closed downward today. ...This is clearly sentiment at play here. ...because in terms of pricing with a very good margin of safety, there is presently no fundamentally sound banking stock that is as cheap as access bank !! based on a draw up to Q3 alone, this coy shouldn't be trading for less than N18. ...and that would still be with a margin for more upside when u key in the expectations for Q4. well mr NSE and some sentimental followers in it sometimes, just sometimes might decide to overlook even 'golden coys'. ...but this wont be for too long. ...for a healthy indicator would even at a glance clearly show that access is selling at a very good discount from its intrinsic value. TIME will surely reprice it. Note: Onegentleguy is only but a small boy with a very minot knowledge in the stock market. ...pls do well to read my signature below. 2 Likes |

onegentleguy: Access will have a tough time crossing band 11 to 12 there about. Technically that spot has remain an issue for a long time. It is not impossible to cross. Fundamentally good stock abi, technically meant to contend the market before any further upside. Bull has volume to pull before any major break through. |

onegentleguy: and so Dangote Flour seems to have woken up to ride up home with his twin brother DS. ...Indeed todays trade was of a very bullish strength and pattern. ...DF traded virtually all through the day without the price effect of any intra-day low. ...i see this as the beginning of yet another ride. ...and for those who argue that DF has already increased by a high % margin, and so should have little or no room for more upside. ...well that makes no sense because that sort of reasoning is tantamount to assuming that DF can never improve on its recent performance. Hear this: a coy can continue to reprice either upwards or downwards irrespective of the extent of any periodic % gain as long as the inherent fundamentals are intact and healthy. ...this however does not mean that there wouldn't be price fluctuations every now and then. DF is a growth stock and can well do another 100% if it has the foundation laid for it. ...and talking about foundation, there can not be any better fit than Alahji AD. DFs present Nos and performance clearly gives credence to this fact. For even if AD retracts from carrying out some of his plans for this coy, DF is at the very least a N21 stock. ...and that's with reference to only a drop down to its Q3 result. ...And from what we see and continue to see at this side of the mountain top, DF is still a BUY !! Note: this is an advise on DF but DD is also advised. ...Pls kindly read thru my signature below. 3 Likes |

PETERiCHY: TRUTH is like a SURGERY it hurts but it heals, a LIE is like a PAINKILLER it gives instant relief but has side effects forever. Like I predicted in 2016 that 2018 is the GAME and I'm now fully invested in NSE but that shouldn't take away the place of CAUTION.. I can't help but pity the gullible ones that will be carried away in the frenzy of stocks that aren't FUNDANMENTALLY SOUND in this 1kobo era because 10yrs from now they will still be paying for their hospital bills. a WORD is enough for the WISE. *ThE OcToPuS* 3 Likes

Coys managed by Mike Adenuga seems to lack corporate governance. The coy has potential just like all of his coys but he treats all like TOYS. When it rises please do not forget to bail out and look for good company to put in your money. Fidelity seems to have left the bus stop a long time ago and about half way to its destination. I want to look at the implications of the 1k rule on the rule of daily stock movement on NSE. The rule prohibits a rise of more than 10% per day. The 1k rule however goes against it. Take for instance you buy a stock for 1k each and sell for 2k, it means 100% rise in a day. While it means bumper returns for investors it also creates a new phenomenon. I would like our gurus to address this pls. Moreso that I am interested in some(gamble) stocks at 1k for 100% returns |

2018 STARTED ON GOOD NOTE: NOW I WILL BE STRICTER WITH MY STOP LOSS Since the opening of the New Year, the market has been very good, but I am sure the race is just starting. The first yellow card I will issue is for May and Baker. The stock is not moving as expected. If the stock goes below 2.40 (my stop loss level), I will bail out without looking back and then wait for a retracement on FCMB or Fidelity. As regard the monitoring of the MSCI Nigeria fund, the fund still has much cash for the market, the purchase additional equity for 2018 is yet to start, safe for the little additions to the Seplat holding. For now May and Bakers need to be under watch, a close above NGN2.79 may bring the stock back into reckoning. Caution: Investing is a risky venture. This is just my opinion and I cannot be liable for any loss suffered as a result of following this recommendation All data used are assumed to be correct, but you may need to verify some of the figures independently.

From my years of experience in the Nigerian Stock Market...as we draw closer to election next year February, kindly avoid kobo kobo stocks for now unless you have the experience. In fact you can choose not to trade stocks below certain market capitalization, or best is to trade NSE30 INDEX stocks only. You would always get a bargain, wait patiently buy low and exit to lock profit. For me I prefer stocks that meet certain Market CAP only. When the electioneering process starts to weigh in, they would tell you market is covered but my dear alas...A word is enough for the wise! Scenario 1 - its either you are in the market now and take profit before the year end results starts coming out, and pick up bargains after result Scenarios 2 - You wait for year end result to pick up bargains Whichever you choose, avoid buying into peaks. Prices must retrace no matter the noise and never rule out the fact that some stocks may hit their year end high with this bullish cycle and trend downwards going into their year end result/ election year. Some others may continue breakout with minor retrace due to profit takers. Ensure to be on the right side and may the year bring us more profits. Success comes from knowing when to exit irrespective of the noise and wait a bargain entry price for fundamentally sound stocks going into the election year 2 Likes |

Mpeace: A 10% rise in a stock of 1k isn't 2k. Say a stock starts out at 1k, it can progress to 1.1k(maximum for day one), 1.21k(maximum for day 2)...e.t.c Except I'm missing something..... Edited 1 Like |
