I think th problem with Jumia is just too much customers, and they don't k how to handle, this cancellation of order with out any concrete reason too much.

I ordered Two generators waited over three week no delivery, I had to call their customers care line an was told oder has been cancelled like three days b4 I called.

Ordered three pairs of bata snickers over three week now still no delivery, the funny thing Is that for the past four days they keep sending me text and email messages, claiming that one Mr on dot, will call me for delivery in the next 24 hours. Stupid Jumia.

22nd December, you are lucky.

I ordered since November, paid online, and to be delivered to my preferred address, they "divided" the order into tranches, they never made any attempt to deliver it to my address, but always send regret text/mail, I'll call the number in the text but no answer, I have gone to their office on three different occasions to collect the packages, STILL expecting the last tranche. undecided
I received their usual regret text just yesterday, trying to call them to deliver this last one but they ain't picking, but for the fact that I had paid online, I would have ignored them

As in.. Pay before delivery.. The last time I bought on jumia.. I was very disappointed... It was a tab.. Twasnt what they put up on the description...

But I made an order on Christmas day that is yet to be delivered.. Hopefully by God's grace, they'll fulfill my expectations
Re: ********* by priiince(m): 10:41pm On Jan 08, 2018
If I must order via jumia it's definitely jumia global tho it takes forever to deliver.

I don't have issues with jumia but their delivery men and very evil sellers with stores filled with fake goods.

Those guys are simply bringing doom to jumia business as they easily swap your purchases with an inferior one, yes! And they'll do anything to talk you out of returning it.

Don't waste time and call unit on their customer service team, just go Twitter.

Well as for me, on the 6th of December 2017,i ordered 10 items, so far 6 was delivered without any problems. the recent one i got was a dz09 smart watch and the watch was defective. the speaker doesn't work and the memory card slot is defective. tried different memory cards but none of them was able to read. I sent em different emails but to no avail until I decided to bombard their fb and twitter pages calling them out on their flaws openly. it didn't take long before they started calling my number to try and explain and solve the issue. they finally opened the portal for me to return the watch and told me the remaining 3 goods have been delivered today and I can go take it tomorrow. I think I had earlier resigned my fate that I wouldn't be doing any shopping with them but let's see how this current story ends, i might change my mind if it goes well.

Ps: I think konga still remains good in the online shopping biz cos this same black Friday i ordered for a tv, it came to me even before the day i expected, cheaper than the ones jumia had to offer.

1) ordered an item sold by Jumia itself which they later cancel for reason of 'out of stock'. Why won't they know their stock is running out? I'm suspecting that these guys are using people money to do business.

2) received another person's item in place of mine. Outside bears my name. Content inside bears another's name. Clearly Jumia's fault as they collate from sellers and then ship. Incompetent and carefree company.

3) one of my item was marked as received yet they cannot say who collected it. Could it be fraud from them? Or did they wrongly deliver to someone else in their usual carelessness.

4) these guys don't care about you. They won't bother to reply your mail.

5) they claim you'll receive a call. It's a lie.

6) they give you a tracking number that doesn't work neither does the shipping agency they use understand.

7) someone above suggested that they have too much customers. What would you say of aliexpress that ships worldwide.

We're so quick to copy things and make a mess of it in Naija ehn.. a colleague is currently experiencing issues with them too. He has paid No delivery No refund. Just exchanges of countless mails.
Re: ********* by lmm4real: 11:31pm On Jan 08, 2018
Jumia is just a big mess, from selling fake and inferior to canceling with out prio notice.

Hmm where I want start from sef...

First I ordered a phone and some of its accessories from them since on the 2nd Dec 2017. The items were from JumiaNigeria global & I was told it would take minimum of 2 and maximum of 20 days. On the 7/12/17 I got a text that my items have been shipped. Then on the 23/12/7 got another text that I should come and pick them from Lagos while I am in Abuja and the my address and required pickup station is clearly showing Abija. I contact their customer care and I was told not to worry that the items would be sent to Abuja. Till this moment I haven't got them. I still got a today to com to Lagos. The worst part is that I tried cancelling my oder but was told I can't because I ordered it from a global store.
Seriously in need of the phone...no money no phone...really in a big mess already by shopping from them.

Another one is that I ordered some shoes/sneakers through them and they sent me some fake shoes. The shoes were made from upholstery material..

The fear of JumiaNigeria is the beginning of funds reservation.

#JumiaNigeria is fraud.

Good thing this is here already, as it will push me to open my own thread.

JUMIA is a shitty establishment.

They have refused to deliver my package which prompted me to ask for a refund. Since November they have failed to repay me. All my mails are now left unanswered and I would have more luck getting Trump on the other line then speaking with one of their Reps.

They ruined my November with their promises of bringing the items. I would have to call their delivery guys to know their whereabouts. And cancelled a trip to another state cuz they had me believe I would get the items that day.

Ok I no do again, pay me my money. But No!

The refund, according to one of their email rep, had been activated since the 2nd week of December and till to this very day; NO MAIL TO FOLLOW UP, MY MAILS ARE NOW LEFT TO ROT, and again, their line won’t go through to a human.

I’m tired. Don’t know what to do next.

Re: ********* by infogenius(m): 6:50am On Jan 09, 2018
Honestly, I am sick and tired of Jumia.
I am a vendor on Jumia.
An item was ordered from ph
shipped since 27th Dec.
The item is yet to get to the customer.
I called their service center desk last
Friday, I was told the item was on its way to
the customer. But it didn't. A lie I was told
Yesterday I called I was told the customer will get the item this week.
This is the reason for high return rates on Jumia.
Poor delivery service.

Honestly, Konga is far better, within 3 days orders from Lagos gets to customers at Abuja or Port Harcourt.?

I am seriously considering closing my store on Jumia as they are causing me more losses.

I am sorry if as a customer you are experiencing delays in getting ur ordered items.
I can't really tell but as far e-commerce is concerned in Nigeria, Jumia Nigeria is a Joke
