If u say to a child "I am not expecting anything good from ur result" are u not preparing for their downfall?
Chei i don't know you are so passionate about Nigeria team, thumb up.

If some are saying they are not expecting much from CHAN team then why are we always attacking Michael2, Komne,goldfish80 and sometimes forgiveness for their critical analysis on super eagles chances at WC.

If we are not expecting much from CHAN team then we should forget SE at WC cos believing in WC team and not CHAN show double standard, then nobody should attack those who are thinking otherwise on our chances at WC.

As a Nigerian is a must to show solidarity with our teams cos the South Americans and Europeans always show that support to their team.

you don talk am finish.

Nigeria players are afraid of the unknown. They are always scared to express themselves. I wonder what they would've become Only if they can show half the level of confidence they have in the national team in their various clubs.

I just can't understand them o! Look at vicmo, he can't even dribble a single player one- on- one when playing for Chelsea instead, he wud be marking his man as if he's playing monkey post.. just look how dat arsenal LB was making vicmo go-down-low as if im dey dance shoki.

Great, there should be young boys in ferense that can play worth bringing to the league, afterall it's not like they pay well in lowly clubs in Portugal. (Portugal self no get money, that's why he could even buy part of the club self)

I doubt the NPFL makes enough to pay their weekly wages. Why would a Portuguese player from Feirense want to come on loan to Remo Stars?? What benefit would it provide the player??

The coaching is poor, the gameplay is poor. How will a player improve in that environment? If the standard between the Portuguese league and the NPFL were comparable, it would be understandable but the gulf in standard is too much

Then we should scrap the league cos if everyone is losing faith in NPFL then I fear for Nigeria football, whether we like it or not the league is the root of our national teams.

On CHAN,pls what are you expecting from those boys,is it to win or have a good performance that two or three players can be discovered for the main team not necessarily this WC but for the future.

Hope you remember the same league produced Abdullahi Muzzam(Austria Vien)Stephen Odey(FC Zurich) now i heard of China Akas and Afeez Aremu.
Sir, I'm not saying that we should scrap the league but only stating the obvious. I was suprised when I saw the quality of football in the Zambia league. technical and tactical wise they are above Nigerian League.
The level of organization and publicity their league has will amaze you.

My own be se I no de expect much from this team. Make dem go and get themselves exposed.

On the chances of getting one or two players making it to the main team, the probability is 1/8. Those capable of breaking in have already moved to Europe. The only slot for an NPFL player is in the Gk department.

All I'm after is how far Salisu Yusuf has come as a coach... I want to see if he has really improved or not.

most of our boys out there are afraid of been kicked back to the bench. Look at what Willian keep doing with the ball for chelsea. He is always the most dispossesed player anytime he plays. He makes unnecessary dribbles while dancing about on the pitch yet still he keeps his place in the team... But our own moses go just de pass as if se he can do take-ons.

Remember the name - Lee Johnson

Lee Johnson bows out of the Carabao cup after giving Manchester City led by Pep Guardiola a tough game. A game which took Manchester City until injury time to secure their place in the final at Wembley. Even though Lee Johnson's Bristol City side bows out of the competition, their memorable display will remain in the minds of their fans. I hope they get promoted to the EPL.

Lee Johnson's men knocked out four Premier League sides on their way to the Semi final against Manchester City, knocking out Watford, Stoke, Crystal Palace and United.

Now this is what happens when teamwork is pitted against quality

Hope our SE can learn a thing or two from this

U are trying to dwell on one word so as to forget the situation at hand. Bashing in this instance means giving me flap. When both teams exited the CAF champions league and were to play in the confed cup I got so much crap just for announcing their next games and it was u for the most part.

By the time these team were getting kicked out of the champions league u were implying to me that Amunike should have dropped Osimhen for Odey. We had not gotten to u guys bashing Odey yet.

You got so much crap? You are the one taking this thing personal. We bashed those clubs for poorly representing Nigeria in the CAF tourneys. Wetin be your own inside? As I said before you are not a fan of any of those clubs, mind you, I am also a Fan of Rangers FC, Neither are you a board member of any of those clubs. So we should not criticise them when they perform abysmally? Huh?

Stephen Odey and his club's performance gave more credence as to why he was not a Super Eagles material QED.

if Moses is doing what William does, he for don dey chop bench by now. You think coaches give African players the leeway they give their European and South American counterparts?

The only coach in EPL that allows players free reign is Wenger and it is sad that Iwobi takes advantage of that privilege and misbehaves.

Not true, apart from the first match, Nigeria actually played free flowing football. Get some clips on YouTube if you doubt me.
safarigirl:
tactics? I have never noticed any tactics from those players. I watched WAFU partly and the only tactic I saw was high balls...everybody just kicking the ball into the air and hoping their team mate would get it.

But since you have brought it up, why don't you lead the way?

I like your faith in the team considering the players have been on vacation for a while now. Even Colin Udoh doesn't have high expectations

how much are they going to be paid?
you think a European player will take this peanuts we pay down here....?
and likewise embark on risky road journeys to go draw away match?
and sometimes they may get beaten or kidnapped...

the guys seems not to understand the low nature of Nigeria league...the league seriously need revival

The Nigerian league is not the root of our national team at the moment. It should be but it is not. Yes, we can point to players that have come from the league but if you look in the past few years, there are several sources of good Nigerian players.

In a 20 team league, we can not produce one decent goalie to take us to the world cup. We are recruiting kids like Uzoho and Maduka.

baba na the truth of the matter be that. Check the profiles of these players and look at their ages compare them to what we have on ground and the young ones both home and abroad waiting to be capped.

FC Ubah had like 4 Brazilians in their team 1-2 seasons ago, heartland had some serbians, Rangers had some too. Ubah still has about 2 Brazilians in their squad. Brazil is richer than Portugal in alot of things. Economically, Brazil should be richer. Abi na natural resources we want talk?

Now to ferense, abeg what is that? Ferense? When did you start hearing anything about the club? I'm not talking loan, I am talking signing them to the club. Yes I said so.

We have had alot of foriegn coaches in the NPFL for a while now and more may likely still come so the league is not as bad as you have always thought.

FC ferense won't beat MFM, Akwa utd or even Plateau UTD, so what are you saying?

Ifeanyi Ubah is self-sponsored by a billionaire. Those Brazilians came for money which Ubah was willing to pay and they have all left. I can guarantee that those guys did not play in the Brazilian top division. Average Brazilian players that are no better than what is already in Nigeria, is that what we are proud about.

Feirense is in the Portuguese top flight. Feirense will beat all those teams you mentioned, convincingly. Is it not the same Rangers that was getting whooped by a Sudanese team.

Stop overrating the NPFL.
