I presume the 1st tier banks he's referring to could be one of Access, Uba, and 1st bank. Guess they still have quite some upside potential.
... But looking at the market rhythm, I also agree with Agba that the 2nd tier banks can give higher returns (the effect of reprising). ...U just need to weigh ur risk and see if ur up for it.

However, I'd like to suggest that u also take a cursory look at some of the coys in the consumer/manufacturing and oil and gas sectors. ...Some of those coys are surely well placed to benefit from the turn around in the economy. ...I'll suggest u look at DS, DF, NASCON, UACN PROPERTY, CAP, CONOIL AND ETERNA. ...I believe that these coys still have quite some room for their share prices.

This is another magic wand. For those of you who are investing a million naira and above, in one single stock, no doubt this is your time. Your year. 2017 and 2018. The following years are in God's hands. Devil is a liar.

The way Access and UBA are moving in this bull is rather too slow. Patience is usually key, but once the bull ends it is usually difficult to do a solo upward move.

DF and DS are no more finding it easy. Even Nascon has gone ahead of DS.

The movement we have been waiting for just started. 2014 on repeat.

As usual NASCON is always ahead somehow. There are other things. better dividend and number of outstanding shares

The smart ones will not cry. moreover as long as oil price continues to go up, this will have a positive effect on equities. prices may not get to 2008 levels but prices will definitely sky rocket. just keep your eyes focused on oil price so that you will know when to bail out with reasonable profits.
