Hello house. I was delayed sometimes last year, but want to submit a new application now for different program. I will like to know if I need to talk about my previous application and denial in my SOP or I shld just focus solely on the new app. Thanks. I kindly await your response.
Why were you denied last year? have you tackled the reasons? if you have then state it in your sop that you were denied last year and state how you have tackled the issues in this new application. NB: There's no harm in it, after all the vo already knows you were denied last year and please don't forget to fill it on the form that you have been denied visa before. Best of luck

Good morning wonderful people. Please i need to clear this up. I applied to University of Sask. and i am in the process of uploading documents. On my admission page on PAWS, i can only see few documents to upload but was on the page for "required documents" to upload, i see

CV/ Resume
Degree Certificates
GMAT Preliminary or GRE Preliminary
Post-secondary Transcripts
Preliminary Statement of Marks
Program of Study
Proof of English Proficiency
Publication
Ranking Document
Reference Letters
Research Statement
Statement/Letter of Intent
Statement of Financial Support
Supplemental Application Form
Thesis Abstract
U of S Degree Completion Letter
I can even see a Pre-Screen Form on the list of "required documents" to upload but i cant see it on my "Requirements" on my "application summary page". With the exception of few documents(For PhD) and EILTS, I think i should upload others but there is no slot for me to upload them.

Also, i remember i wrote to graduate school asking if i need an English proficiency Test but i got a reply that i dont need, yet it is appearing on my list of required document to upload, and if i dont upload anything, my application status will still be reading "Oustanding Documents."

Anybody went through this? Please advise.

Thank you.

I applied to Durham College (Ontario, Canada) for a Graduate Certificate course and the only required documents were

1. passport
2. High School Certificate
3. University Certificate.

i was hoping to see slots to fill in my CV and other professional certifications i have.

Please who else has applied to Durham College for a Graduate Certificate course?

I think you should upload another document in that space. Maybe upload your CV again so they can start reviewing your document.

Dear all, happy new year and congrats to all those approved, to those delayed, re-strategize and re-fire.
Your input(s) on this will be much appreciated.
So I have this family friend who is a permanent resident in Canada and resides in Toronto, Ontario. He was home for the Christmas and new year break and asked me to come to Toronto to stay with him immediately after my service year, ending this April/May, while I wait for school to start In September.

The problem now is how do I avoid issues at the point of entry? Because my school is located in Prince Edward Island and not Ontario. I believe the officer at the point of entry will request to see my connecting flight ticket to where my school is located.

Will it be an issue if I have the ticket to show but for a later date, say last week in August and I let the officer know my intention is to reside with my family friend in Toronto, and Fly to Prince Edward Island later or I jejely stay back in Nigeria doing nothing till August and fly to Prince Edward Island.

PS: I got my visa approved November last year, for a program starting September this year.

Thank you for your input in advance.

Scratch the card, pin it and scan it with your result then you can go ahead and still attach the pin as texts.

Regards.

Hello house,

Finally, I have landed in Canada safely. Thank you to everyone that encouraged me during my waiting period. God bless you all.

The cold is way out of what you find in the northern part of Nigeria(Jos)...but I am adapting to it....lol. So for those coming in, brace up but you still need to get the winter boots here cos Naija canvas is like socks.

**Applicants for Canadian visas will be checked against U.S. databases**

Saw this and would like to confirm how true it is because i have a dual passport and have once applied for U.S visa on one of my passport and was denied 5 years ago. I didn't declare the denial in my Canadian visa form because i am applying with my second passport.. should i be worried? Genuine Opinions and criticism willl he appreciated

Thanks for your response.

I am having limited number of documents to upload(ie the names of the documents to upload are limited and specific). Once i upload anyone, the name disappears from the pending documents to upload.
Take for example, on the list of pending documents to upload, i have TRANSCIPTS, BSC CERT, INT. PASSPORT and the rest, once i upload transcript, TRANSCRIPTS on pending documents vanishes, if i upload bsc cert, BSC CERT vanishes on pending document. My problem is this, under the required documents for my program, i am seeing more documents than what is available for me to upload.

HELLO, i would advise two options:
1) you could apply for a visiting visa, i heard it doesnt take too long and seeing you have a trv, the visiting visa may not take time. OR
2)just chill till july and fly straight to prince edward island, after immigration checks, you can use local flight and travel to toronto till school resumes, you wont go through immigration checks twice.
if they ask why you came early, you could simply tell them you want to settle in, prep for school and get use to their weather grin, besides your uncle will help you understand canada before you start school.
