my brother, scoring goals is not as easy as the forwards in the Main Super Eagles team make it look grin
It is quite evident now the difference in quality in both side, I mean our local strikers and the main Super Eagle strikers.

Nigeria had 24 shots on goal, only 2 hit the target.

Very unimpressed.
This CHAN team seems more interested in bringing our FIFA ranking down. Salisu does not seem like a good coach to me. When the squad list first came out there were very few midfielders compared to other positions but it seems that this guy is not even interested in using any of them.
No midfield, coach seemed clueless, passes lost, etc. Just a waste of time really.
NB: I did not watch the first half.

abysmal. Sad. Pathetic. I hope they are proud of themselves, I wonder if any of them thinks they are even good enough for CHAN, not to talk of World Cup.

#TeamHomeBased, we are going to need your input on this matter

Missing that chance in the first half is just enough not to have Rabiu in the first team. It could have made the difference for us.

Ezeonyi proved his mettle in this tournament back in South Africa. that managed to earn him a move away from Rangers back then. Rabiu Ali is just a local league veteran.

I really hope we don't go on another draw spree. its like they eat a lot of okra soup.

This CHAN team will just bring our FIFA ranking down and make more people around Africa believe that our league is rubbish...

what more can I say, not so I inspiring display and disappointing draw. They were unlucky not to win considering the efforts which hit the woodwork. I hope they get better

SALISU has always been a poor coach. Except one league trophy with Kano Pillars what else does he have to offer? A big fat NOTHING. We have better coaches.
A good coach can only do as much as using his best players and giving them the right tactics, he won't be the one to score the goals.

How is it Salisu's fault that our attackers were wasteful in front of goal? 24 chances created yet no goal, I'm struggling to see why he should be blamed for this.

Our midfield isn't that bad, we just wasted too many easy chances. We lacked composure upfront.

if the Chan team was the assembling of the league best...it means the Nigeria league still have a long way to go...
this players are all average players at best.

D positive abt d Chan Eagles is dat dey do create lots of chances bt seem to d same ting in front of goal all d time. D strikers need to be encouraged to calm down in front of goal, pick dia spots (were d space permits) or pik out a beta placed teammate dan shoot waywardly.....In all, u can only give wat u av, weldone to dem!

this team problem have been their inability to score goals begining from the wafu cup and then the super six tournament...

by now a reasonable coach should have worked on this weakness okpotu will do better as SS and not a CF

Faleye was decent today, some few good touches here and there especially in the first half when Nigeria were all over the Rwadans.

To be honest, the boys didn't do as badly as folks here have painted it to be.

They had a fantastic first half, with good movement on and off the ball and calm well laid passes. However, lack of coordination upfront messed up those moves. The midfield was very compact in the first half.

In the second half, I'll say out of desperation they lost their calm, and forgot about their earlier swift passes and went back to their good old police balling. (In their minds: "Salisu can go to hell with his swift passes, na to dey play long ball sure pass"wink.

Some things we ought to also understand are: Firstly, these are not the main Super Eagles so we should lower our expectations. I did that before the tourney kicked off and it helped me watch the game without feeling disappointed. Secondly, we came against Rwanda's A team. To be candid our boys outplayed them.

The Libya game would not be an easy one But if we can take our chances in that game, we stand a good chance.

I think Faleye just need a bit of polishing to become quality. I saw his confidence level, predatory instinct and skills despite a single season in the NPFL and his age. Don't see him staying too long in the league.

Let me not say anything until Bascovanveli drops his opinion of this team

The guys did good but they could have been much better. Decision making drove me crazy at times and the coaching stood in the players way like we have come to expect. On another day the score would be at least 4-0 but today was not just our day

I saw some good football and technique from the Nigerian side..

They were not just clinical.. this g@me could have easily been a 6-0

Bros did u watch the match? Our chances came from Itodo Daniels chucking the ball at the goalpost, it's not like chances were being created with passes.

Nigeria seems to have lost the fluidity they enjoyed in the 1st half, too many sloppy passes and the Rwadans are slowly growing into the game.
Exactly. Very poor team from a figurehead coach. The team lacked direction and creativity.

The strength of this team obviously lies in that midfield.

But the attack lacks co-ordination. If this can be corrected the Rwandans would be buried.
Are you saying the team I just saw had a midfield.
