It is no secret how woeful the Buhari government has been and it is only a coalition of the southern region that kick out Buhari and his tyranny once and for all. I won't lie even though I didn't vote, I was one of those who hoped for Buhari to win the 2015 elections because I felt GEJ was not doing enough.
Don't get me wrong, GEJ had his shortcomings but definitely not close to the tyranny, one-sided governance Buhari is running presently.
What sensible president keeps sealed lips when people are getting murdered in their homes in batallions only because such acts of terrorism are perpetrated by your kinsmen?
I believe I don't need to mention other scenarios of his incompetence as we all see it in the media daily.
This post is to wake the southeners from their slumber and let us get it right for once.
Put aside ethnic and religious differences and fight for the future of the youths.
The power of these selfish politicians lie in our division and quarrels. They know the minute we all agree on the same thing, they lose their power. Their aim is to impoverish the masses both mentally and financially and tribalism is a tool that works well for them.
Yorubas and Igbos especially, please brethren this is not about you alone but about Nigeria as a whole.Put aside your differences and let's us vote out this incompetent government that has brought more suffering on all Nigerians.

I am yoruba and I have also been involved many a time in this tribalism ruckus but if we are being honest with ourselves, Nigeria(the southern region specifically) will never progress with such behaviour. If all we do is sit behind our phones/computers poking insults at each others ethnic groups while things remain unfavourable in the real world, then who are we deceiving?
If care isnt taken, I forsee a time when data bundles will be a luxury and there would be no avenue to call ourselves together and deliberate on issues such as this.
We can already see how the government is trying so hard to take away freedom of speech by arrest and torture. We can also see how herdsmen are stylishly being conferred with special citizenship status. They go on killing spree and the stupid government thinks we are all to blame. I am all for each region deciding what is best for them whether that includes secession or not but again, I think Kanu went about his intentions wrongly which directly/indirectly led to the killings of innocent Igbo youngsters.

Definitely. They are only exploiting the crack that already exists. But the people of the South owe themselves the diligence to sift through these deceit.
