We shouldn't only be looking for the negativity but also positivity. The Two CBs have been solid so far.

The LB is damn good at long Throwing. The DM ain't doing bad. He's calm, can shield the ball, but needs to work on his Passes. Osas is commanding his Position very well.

The No. 7 needs to up his Game, he has it in him. Faleye keeps growing in confidence and he's a joy to watch on the Ball.

I think the defence has been the saving grace.

The left back throwing ability is definitely an asset. Still not sold on Osas..

The team has however not improved much from the WAFU cup.

I think Faleye should be played through the middle. Okpotu is not good enough.

I wish we went with more young players.

Na wa for you oooo.... Anyway, I no chop anything from am. But give the young lad some credits shaa. He had a good game. He slipped a few times and struggled a bit in the opening exchanges but then he grew into the game and really sent the Libyan right back to hell on many occasions.... Faleye looks a fine talent. Honestly.

U try..The guy get future like him elder brother Alaba.

See as them resemble!! grin

I read your comment and am happy but do we need to appeal to anyone on how he or she make comment again cos we have been doing this all over and over again and is not working,so better to leave it and let the attacks continue.I know when times come it would mellow down naturally.

On Iheanacho, well I don't have much to say cos i see him they way i see other players and as i always said we must respect these players personality, respecting their personality does not stop us from expressing our views on them but such views should be in a well constructive manner. As it stand Kelechi deserves our support and he too should not relent cos we want the best for him.

I don't want to mention names but am not happy the way we make comments here especially personal attacks,if i may ask on what, football matters especially Super eagles which we all love.We should always have it in mind that eagles brought us to this thread, nothing more and everyone's opinion must be respected,it's not compulsory we should be on the same page, being on the same page we won't be at 2k plus pages.

My man as i said there is no need to apeal again cos we have had enough, so let it continue cos i don't expect a mature minds to resort to personal attacks when it comes to discussion. It's uncalled for

The main Iheanacho man here is thegoodjoe and i have great respect for this gentleman cos he always based his views on Nacho with constructive analysis and never look emotive to express his view on those who have contrary opinions which i always appreciate and i take a cue from him regards my approach to anything on Mikel cos is a player i love so much,Michael2 will understand better.

I still remember how some guys came in and made the thread heated up that some regulars have to be on ghost mode, they turned this thread up and down,i know icon4s will remember what am talking about, also how TheSuperNerd went on AWOL and some honourable member of this thread appealed to him to come back cos we missed him dearly.

One thing we should note here there are things to gain from this thread that even football that brought us together,i don't think going to London and move around shouldn't be an issue to any of us here cos Komne is on ground or going to US and move around with the presence of icon79,better for us to take it softly the way we address ourselves cos we still have a lot to do together.

As i said personally i will not appeal for peace to reign again,we are mature enough to know what is right and wrong, what brought us here is eagles and it would be foolish of anyone here to hate or wish the team bad irrespective of the criticism.

Respect to all members of this great thread and Up Super Eagles.
The bolded is just my view. Encourage him to his best. But no need for personal attacks.

Safarigirl would not know it but she extended grace to me one time when I was on the viking thing with Iceland and I felt irked by what I thought was a mocking reference from her. She understood that I was angry. Even better she apologised. Truly that was a healer, it soothed me. And that was why I could easily apologise to BascoVanVeli when he felt I and Icon4s were yabbing him. And I'm hoping he does same too whenever anyone feels hurt by him.

I am saying that let's create a chain of good vibes here. We will have much heated debates as the WC closes in on us. Please let's endeavour to create an atmosphere where we can discuss as adults without throwing up mud.

I don't always agree with Mickael2 but I respect him. I do not even regard Sir goldfish80 as a critical person as such. Komekn shaaa dey vex me but then he is just his person. Wetin man go do. We all make this thread thick. But I respect komekn for one thing:he's a fine gentleman. Never once has he resorted to personal attacks even in the most heated of debates. He would tag your view as nonsensical and without substance but he will never attack your person. Let's emulate him in that regard abeg all of una.

And realpoacher please can you kindly quit calling this gentlemen agents? Being an agent is not a bad thing ooo. In fact I won't mind being one sef but you use it ever derogatively and unfairly in my estimation. Agba Omaye mi, even if you cannot understand the motivation for their views just understand that people have different view.

This is a thread I love and I trust we all do. I don't mind begging all of us. WC is coming and this thread is going to be bubbling. Make we try bikonu my brothers and sisters (eseose9 with her incredible memory)
Cheers all

You are right Sir Royalty. His finishing needs work no doubt. But I really love his confidence and dare for his young age. He is exciting.

dude I think I was a bit selfish though....
he needs to also work more on his finishing...
if the latter is worked upon...he will be unplayable.

Ezenwa won't start in Russia. I don't think that will happen. But he may make the squad.

They didn't have enough time to play together.

And it's affecting them adversely. Hope they get better with each match though
it is not lacks of chemistry

how come they become so good when they moves abroad?

Coaching

Npfl clubs shall starts employing sound foreign coaches to polish our various talented but raw players since the local coaches are not doing their jobs

Indeed... Congratulatuons are still in order. because of BascoVanVeli, I took notice of this Faleye guy even before the first game. But now I am much more interested. Dude is young and was easily our best today again. Against Rwanda, Salisu also said Faleye was our best and did so well... This guy is really talented.

I know that maybe only Ezenwa is WC bound from this team but at least, I see hope for the future in Faleye. He is the youngest in the lineup and I wonder what that 15 or 16 yr old we also took to this CHAN can do.... The young ones no dey smile at all again...

Bro, I'm not really sure about that.

I think he hasn't really been tested enough in this tournament

My man you are right, watching six NPFL invitational tournament showed that Kenedy Boboye of Plateau United and MFM coach are better than Salisu.

MFM really impressed me against CHAN team though they lost 3-2 but in the second half they came out strongly and exposed CHAN team.I rate plateau united as the best in the tournament cos they played with good understanding.

Mind you we have a young team. We have a fine plan for this WC as drawn by the Nff. Just this wives and gf thing can make rubbish of the whole plans.

Chaaaiiiiii..... Sunday Faleye!!! This no.21 was just skinning Al maghassi all match long! Biko Marvelous BascoVanVeli.... Who is this daring young man? Yara Yara has been singing his name in my ears....

I know he fell over or slipped a few times but that when the match was still starting... This lad grew into the game... Chisos! This Faleye dey ball oooo and na him come score join....

Please I hope his injury is not serious ooooo.... Chaaiiiii.... BascoVanVeli, your rugged faith in this team na die ooooo.... These guys just beat Libya... I know there is much work still to do but plssss allow them bask in this beautiful moment. They are almost in the quarters.

To Salisu Yusuf and the boys and for his faith in Young Faleye.... Kudos
I must admit Faleye was the culprit in the first half but Salisu maintained faith in him so I guess he deserves a little bit of credit. I must still admit that I am not impressed with technical bench. The NFF should think about hiring a private coach for the Chan team. CHAN should not be about impressing for the world cup because we are still months away, it should be about winning the damn thing.

Let's not go this way Bro. I trust you know it's hurtful cancelling out someone else's opinion. Don't do to others what you would not like done to you.

Let's try (this is a word to myself too) to avoid reacting to post with the mind to revenge what might perhaps look like putdowns to us. The thread will be better for it.

To thesupernerd please be very careful. At what you posted right there about komekn and mikeal2. Really I am speechless. Do you actually know what brotherhood is? Restraint, keeping mute when so angered in order not to hurt a brother. You are a kind of person who only live for himself. Those boarding house kids who usually thought they know more than everyone else. Just try to sit on their bed they harass you like you took their wife. Change your approach to the way you react to brothers/families even if you are right. These guys are no strangers on these thread
