My people, I waited so long for the results to be released before going in for a budget presentation. In fact, the thought of the results kept me cold all through the session so much that at a time, the CEO asked someone to put off the AC because he felt it was too cold for me. Him no know sey na IELTS result anxiety dey shake my body grin grin.

Anyway, I wrapped up a while ago and the first thing was to check the much awaited result. LRWS: 7.5,9,8,8.5. Even though this was better than the previous, 'L' somehow contrived to throw a spanner in the works yet again. By my assessment, I did pretty well in the listening test of January 6 that I expected nothing short of an 8. Well, it didn't quite happen as expected but as the saying goes, "winners never quit". I logged on to the BC site and registered for the next available test here in Lagos. Perhaps my early morning (Fast and Furious) drive to Ibadan that day might have affected my concentration levels, I can't tell. I shall be back again but with good news. There's no room for letting up

Thanks GlitteringStar and Mosbiod for checking. We go finally make am for this Canny journey

Feel like giving you a hug. Been looking out for your post. Glad you have re-registered.IELTS is too small to stop the dream from becoming a reality.

Doesn't that mean they would need to get 6months statement of account and Reference letters on all three accounts, if the banks don't give letter in CIC format?

I was thinking the same thing too. If the bank(s) is/are willing to write CIC letter then leave the funds if not please transfer to the PA's acc and explain.

Congratulations to those that aced ielts....
To my beloved that didn't get their desired scores... Don't give up... Fire again

Quick question, is it advisable to use Cic format for POF if average balance over 6 months equals half of the total fund?
Eg Average balance of 2.5m for a closing balance of 5m

I don't see why not.

My husband has a masters in Botany but 5years plus work experience as a sales and marketing person . Will it be okay to go ahead ? Your answers will be of great help please. Thanks

I have been struggling to put myself together since yesterday.

While I was expecting a miracle Jan 6th, it turned out this way:

L: 8
R: 7.5
S: 7.5
W: 6.5

I have booked for Feb 1 but I want to ask if it's possible to apply for a remark. Though I know I really goofed in the writing.

wizean:
Amen by fire.

My morale just weak. Didn't know the back page of writing answer sheet was also available to be written on. I went on struggling to squeeze my 250 words on the front page only. It was just too late when I realized. I feel so depressed, hoping for a miracle nonetheless!

Congratulations to everyone that aced IELTS. To those that didn't, please don't give up, keep pushing. Meanwhile, create an Express Entry (EE) profile (if you have not done so already) while waiting for your desired scores; you can update later so as to beat the "tie" rule.

Ask for a remark if you are convinced that you did better, especially if you missed the intended score by 0.5. Some people have even gotten an increase of more than 0.5.

@4wearegreat Nice spirit! We shall celebrate your ITA very soon. Hope you have created an EE profile already.

Bro go for remark, you are very likely to get a raise in that writing score. Register for another one if you have the means.

Hi 40manlappy. I can't tell you what an amazing or should i say how you have helped me and my hubby in this Canny land preparation.
Your posts have been so helpful especially the first page of thread 2 https://www.nairaland.com/3999848/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled
I don't know how to thank you enough. My husband thinks i have excess time the way i read this thread. He has his test today. As per PA, fingers crossed.
I just really wanted to say thank you for being awesome.
Side note, anyone on this journey should read. READ, READ AND READ. You cannot be preparing to move to a foreign land and not have enough knowledge.
The step by step and payments and planning required.

Just raise a bank draft of 15k then go to BC office on designated collection date and resquest for your result (I suggest you open the result and take a snapshot with your phone, have a copy incase you want to enter pool pending when your remark/resit is out). Then tell them you want to seek a remark... you will be giving an EOR form to fill. Fill it up and submit.
Thats all. Wish you best of luck.
