Two of the Super Eagles poster boys( Iwobi and Kelechi) are in England, we might see moses, ndidi and musa(if still in England) joining them for the unveiling.

My opinion sha
this is actually a solid reason. Iwobi and Kelechi could model the jersey with Ndidi, after all, the NFF will need models for their unveiling.

In case they need a goalie to model the GK outfit, I implore them to not use Ezenwa, cloth no dey fit am

We will continue to laugh until they upgrade their facilities. They should go take a look at the quality of production from other national TV stations.

I even manage to watch the games shown own Supersports even with the HD signals. I can't even imagine tuning to NTA for anything program talk less of to watch the NPFL.

They better mend ways with Supersports and return broadcast to them.

Could their problem be lack of facilities? Recall their broadcast equipment was massively upgraded in 2009 for the broadcast of the U17 WC.
I doubt they have auctioned off those OBB vans.

And they can't come home to do that?

Mikel is definitely the number 1 poster boy and doesn't reside in England.
Mikel is a senior posterboy, Iwobi and Kelechi are the latest baby boys in town.

exactly, I hope they include fans along unlike the crude manner they lunched kits in 2014.

Something I thought about.

How sensible or reasonable is unveiling our world cup jersey outside Nigeria far away in England when almost every one else unveiled theirs at home?

Isn't this disrespectful to the home fans and Nigeria as a whole?

It is easier to gather key members of the team in Europe for an event. If you hold it in Nigeria, you will have no players available except Ezenwa. In England, you can get several players, including those based outside England to attend.

I do not understand NTA. They are funded by government and still get advertising money and they have worse pictures than private channels who are dependent mainly on advertising money.

Home Eagles Coach Yusuf: Misfiring Okpotu Will Start Against Equatorial Guinea
By Johnny Edward

Home Eagles coach Salisu Yusuf has stated that Lobi Stars striker Anthony Okpotu will lead the team’s attack when they face Equatorial Guinea in their final group game at the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) on Tuesday barring injury, Completesportsnigeria.com (CSN) reports.

Okpotu has been unimpressive so far after two games, failing to get off the mark for Nigeria and several calls have been made for the striker to be dropped ahead of the next game for Ibrahim Mustapha who came on for the Lobi Stars striker as a late substitute against Rwanda and Libya.

Salisu remains upbeat that the Nigerian Professional Football League top scorer for last season will end his drought soon.

“We still have four days to the game and Okpotu has more quality than him (Mustapha). Except for injury, Okpotu will start on Tuesday,” Yusuf raid during his post-match conference.

“He (Okpotu) didn’t score against Libya but he did well.

“Okpotu blocked the lines very well and worked very hard defensively but I believe he can score in our final group game.”

Another crackpot who knows nothing. I didn't even go to boarding school.... Looollll

Brotherhood you say? Hahahahahahahahaha....
These two guys you speak for were so glad when my mother was insulted on this same thread. I know. Reactions here tell the story. And here you are speaking of brotherhood... With who? Those negative lots? They had it coming... I cannot be brothers with mediocritic mindsets. So please... Stay on your lane. You are even lucky I had the time to reply you. I am just in "Faleye mood" today... grin

If I say I am bewildered that's an understatement.

How on earth do you come to this toxic conclusion is it extreme conceitedness.
You now can determine the mind, spirit, heart, intent of a person but always in the negative. You must be a prophet or even better babalowo.

I willl ask you to retrace your steps and look at my comments on the topic. And if you have the courage you may apologise. But then that will require humility.

Listen Sir Mujtahida... I have a simple proposition since you are good friends with Mickael... (We can work out Komekn's later possibly or not... He will likely listen to you if he doesn't still see your opinion as lacking substance.... cheesy Lol...) Tell him to desist from his negative approach towards Iheanacho. Advise him to learn how to be balanced on issues concerning that young man coz I can see that he lives and breathes on this thread only to discuss Nacho since Mikel is now beyond his grasp. Mikel was actually his first target when he walked in here but so far dude cannot go there anymore... Mikel is so vital to this team. He silently ate his words on that but have never said how wrong he was to have uttered that rubbish he said about Mikel being irrelevant to the team.
Now he picks on Nacho... Lolll... Your friend has a huge psychological problem Mujtahida. I can help him but his pride won't let him... So talk to him... smiley

And yes I know the great man you speak of.... Same man also had to fight and win a damn war. He didn't think of charity in that instance Mon Ami. He just had a bloody war to win and drive out negatives and chaos that could tear down the American people.

I stand for justice and the right treatment of our Nigerian players. Enough of this negative balderdash. And I have learnt that when people keep silent in the face of negativity, then they have only allowed negativity to win. Sometimes silence is betrayal.

Anything said can be easily misrepresented.
However, what is written is there for all to see. I would ask that you retrace your steps backward and see what I said about Mikel to TheGoodJoe on this particular subject.

And if humility is something that is not too alien to you, will you consider apologising.

even the away team got their own spotkick. If it was in our local league, Getafe would have gotten all 3 pks

Is this statement fact base or the usual rhetorics when it comes to the NPFL?

Ohhhh now they are humans too? When they consistently went around doing what they do to Iheanacho... I guess it is because Iheanacho is not human? They bring out lies and more lies... They twist things to make themselves the victim... Just so as to win the licence to keep saying things as they want without care or caution... Is that what you call humans? Humans with no regards for yet another human. The way Komekn lies about Osimhen's situation from time to time also irritates. The way Mickael2 never sees anything good in Nacho no matter the improvement shown... He even saw nothing good in Mikel.

What wound it profit a man to lie or refuse to acknowledge the good in another? Except the person is a sore loser in life.

It's beneficial for someone who lays claim to academic competence. To substantiate your position with a reference point, by all means quote me verbatim.

I have watched Mfm and Kano Pillars, they play good football at times but not as good as the teams I mentioned earlier. By the way, the CAF champions league semifinals between Heartland and Pillars was simply electric.

This present Chan team have very compact and strong defence. Kalu Orji and Stephen Eze could make it to the main super Eagles, especially with about 6 friendlies lined up. The left back and Osas are holding their own as well. I think they are the best defensive quartet in this championship by a mile.

Na so, one of the problems facing our league is this attitude of changing squad almost every season. Most clubs are used to selling their players and replacing them with new faces. No continuity. They end up spending the new season getting to know each other over again.

Is this a statement of fact? 90% buyers are from outside?
Hozier:
Because nobody will buy the jersey at home. grin
From history 90% of Super Eagles jersey sales comes from abroad, people here in Naija are only vocal supporters of the team they don't joke with their money.

When the Aba version hits the market Nigerians will troop out en mass to show their support. grin

Still doesn't sound right. Who are they gathering for unveiling that needs too many efizzy? Max is 3-4 players.

A goalkeeper - Ezenwa
Defender - Balogun
Midfielder - Mikel
Striker - Ighalo or Moses.
(Guess work)

About 3-4 on this list are not even in England.

What else?

Is unveiling not done by positioning?

I still believe it's not right to be done outside your country. We're not the only one having players (key) outside the country, yet these countries are unveiling at home. Why must ours always be weird?

Cost?

How many dignitaries likely to fly from Nigeria for this purpose compared to flying into Nigeria?

Well like you said NFF "knows" best and they can't be 100% right/wrong all the time.
Kalapizim:
maybe Cost of flying them home, remember how the last world cup jersey was lunched with home based players in 2014.

Well NFF knows best, I can only speculate cheesy

Balogun is in Germany, much easier for him to go to England than to fly to Nigeria. Ighalo and Mikel would probably be back to China by then and would not be available.

This is not a FIFA window. Players need to be in training the next day.

I read that conjecture and to be honest if I said I wasn't bewildered, I'd be lying. Just take it in the chin and move on, it is one of those things you open yourself to when you mix with people from different ages, background and orientation like we have here.

I never really understood this until two weeks ago when one of the physiotherapists was telling us why he left Dolphins. For security reasons I'd rather not mention the northern teams they were playing against and they were winning 2-0, early in the second half, the crowd didn't do much, they just sat still but if you look through the crowd you'd notice a quick circulation of some items, they didn't take it serious initially that was until around the 80mins when the fans started exposing the said items(he called them sickles used in harvesting rice grin). The news was immediately circulated to the ref but he said he was not going to bulge but call the match down the middle, 88mins on the clock and they had already chased away the few visiting fans and that was when my friend started thinking about his young wife and his kid and even the away team started begging the ref to award penalties to the home team

Violence in Nigeria football has happened everywhere, it is not peculiar to one region.
