Kalapizim:this is actually a solid reason. Iwobi and Kelechi could model the jersey with Ndidi, after all, the NFF will need models for their unveiling. In case they need a goalie to model the GK outfit, I implore them to not use Ezenwa, cloth no dey fit am 2 Likes |

Icon4s: Could their problem be lack of facilities? Recall their broadcast equipment was massively upgraded in 2009 for the broadcast of the U17 WC. I doubt they have auctioned off those OBB vans. |

somehow: It is easier to gather key members of the team in Europe for an event. If you hold it in Nigeria, you will have no players available except Ezenwa. In England, you can get several players, including those based outside England to attend. 2 Likes |

goldfish80: I do not understand NTA. They are funded by government and still get advertising money and they have worse pictures than private channels who are dependent mainly on advertising money. |

TheSuperNerd: If I say I am bewildered that's an understatement. How on earth do you come to this toxic conclusion is it extreme conceitedness. You now can determine the mind, spirit, heart, intent of a person but always in the negative. You must be a prophet or even better babalowo. I willl ask you to retrace your steps and look at my comments on the topic. And if you have the courage you may apologise. But then that will require humility. 4 Likes 1 Share |

TheSuperNerd: Anything said can be easily misrepresented. However, what is written is there for all to see. I would ask that you retrace your steps backward and see what I said about Mikel to TheGoodJoe on this particular subject. And if humility is something that is not too alien to you, will you consider apologising. 1 Like |

goldfish80: Na so, one of the problems facing our league is this attitude of changing squad almost every season. Most clubs are used to selling their players and replacing them with new faces. No continuity. They end up spending the new season getting to know each other over again. |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by somehow: 2:10pm On Jan 20, 2018 |
Still doesn't sound right. Who are they gathering for unveiling that needs too many efizzy? Max is 3-4 players. A goalkeeper - Ezenwa Defender - Balogun Midfielder - Mikel Striker - Ighalo or Moses. (Guess work) About 3-4 on this list are not even in England. What else? tbaba1234: |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by somehow: 2:12pm On Jan 20, 2018 |
Is unveiling not done by positioning? I still believe it's not right to be done outside your country. We're not the only one having players (key) outside the country, yet these countries are unveiling at home. Why must ours always be weird? safarigirl: 1 Like |

Cost? How many dignitaries likely to fly from Nigeria for this purpose compared to flying into Nigeria? Well like you said NFF "knows" best and they can't be 100% right/wrong all the time. Kalapizim: |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by tbaba1234: 2:15pm On Jan 20, 2018 |
somehow: Balogun is in Germany, much easier for him to go to England than to fly to Nigeria. Ighalo and Mikel would probably be back to China by then and would not be available. This is not a FIFA window. Players need to be in training the next day. |

komekn: I read that conjecture and to be honest if I said I wasn't bewildered, I'd be lying. Just take it in the chin and move on, it is one of those things you open yourself to when you mix with people from different ages, background and orientation like we have here. 3 Likes 1 Share |

somehow: I never really understood this until two weeks ago when one of the physiotherapists was telling us why he left Dolphins. For security reasons I'd rather not mention the northern teams they were playing against and they were winning 2-0, early in the second half, the crowd didn't do much, they just sat still but if you look through the crowd you'd notice a quick circulation of some items, they didn't take it serious initially that was until around the 80mins when the fans started exposing the said items(he called them sickles used in harvesting rice ). The news was immediately circulated to the ref but he said he was not going to bulge but call the match down the middle, 88mins on the clock and they had already chased away the few visiting fans and that was when my friend started thinking about his young wife and his kid and even the away team started begging the ref to award penalties to the home team |
