For all you Dubai prospects. It's better you gather accurate information before you make a step that will jeopardise your life.

The best way to enter Dubai is through a job offer i.e an employer applying for your work permit.

Don't believe these agents that are looking for money all over the place.

They will do a 3 months visa for you and leave you to your fate when you arrive.

And you can't hustle in Dubai like western countries. it's highly controlled.

Have counselled so many people who fell into the hands of these agents.

I met a guy on the metro one day who walked up to me asked if I was Nigerian, I said yes and he asked me to buy him a meal. My heart broke into pieces. He had a good job in naija before leaving.

I know of a marketing manager who fell into the hands of an agent. Got to Dubai after two months ticking on her visa she had to take on a maid job for two years.

So many girls forced into hard labour in hair salons at Deira for a paltry sum of 70000 naira upon conversion.

They live in unhealthy conditions, no standard medical insurance? Cant open bank accounts cos their salaries are low

Is it worth it I dare ask?

My advice if you want to go to Dubai. Don't zero out Nigeria till you are certain of a job in Dubai.

Go there for a month with your attested certificates and money to move around. Remember you can't do a side job there.

See for yourself and apply for jobs. If it clicks then your employer will process work permit for you.

If it needs for you to exit for the visa processing your employer will pay for your ticket. You get to go home and say goodbye properly without any cost on your part.

yeah just 3 hrs, but I will advice you not to use any travel agency, you can do it yourself. I went there last year October, spent 3 nights less than that amount

Word just reaching me now and is Confirmed is that anyone in search of Teaching Job must have degree in Education...A friend of mine whom I did visa for and got a teaching job in Al-ain said his contract wasn't renewed cos of this same reason..He has a bsc in Biochemistry and was teaching Chemistry.So of u intend going to teach in d UAE, please make sure u have a degree in Education.. Those Arabs careless if u a guru.

Nope It's not,just that teaching is my passion and I think they pay better than other jobs like security and the likes, I may be wrong tho....

Teaching pays better.U close at 3pm and dats it for the day..U have holidays,long vacations and even private lessons(tuition)..Bestvjob ever.But u can try Turkey.But u can only teach English.U only need ur degree and any foreign English certificate and ur good..UAE wahala too much.They keep asking for things and uvkeep spending all ur salary gettingvthem.I got tired cos I couldn't save..Dats my experience though.

He is in Nigeria...after going from school to school and couldn't secure a job due to d Education condition he got tired.He had to leave.
