I am telling you. Its not just him, if it was Ajiboye and Afelokhai that have had the kind of performance Ezenwa has had thus far they would not be singing the same song.
I don't think there is need for comparison,i mean Ezenwa vs Ajiboye or any upcoming keepers cos Ezenwa has the experience which put him ahead.

I w pick Ezenwa ahead of Ajiboye or Uzoho based on experience but when it comes to talent and rudiment of goalkeeping i will would go for Uzoho and Ajiboye cos have watched the trio critically but for now Ezenwa is ahead based on his performance especially against Cameroon and Zambia.

I will not deceive you some are watching CHAN cos of Ezenwa, not to criticise him but to see his development as a WC bound keeper.

Thesame experience that made him fumble in Algeria match, or same experience that made Akpeyi embarrassed himself in front of the world? As it stands now, Uzoho is ahead of both Enzenwa and Akpeyi presently and nothing can change that. Did he strike you as an inexperience goalie during Argentine match? Too much emphasis on age!

That is how you view it. Perfectly stated, devoid of any sentiments.

But do you know there are some peeps here who are waiting for Ezenwa to fail so that Rohr will drop him completely from the WC team?

Which test will he receive in this CHAN that would be more than what he received against Cameroon, Zambia and Algeria. All 4 matches he only conceded two goals from penalties. He has kept several clean sheets for the Eagles despite some of his lapses.

I tell you some are just waiting for that moment to nail him. They will not give him credit for keeping clean sheet but are quick to point to cases where he was out of position. Has their been any goalkeeper that is always in perfect position?

Someone even said he will not give Ezenwa any credits but we shall watch and see as the team gets to the final. If you wish Ezenwa to fail it simply means you want the team to fail. Simple.

This CHAN is only going to boost Ezenwa's confidence level and rating.

A player from Equitorial Guinea collapsed on Friday when they played Rwanda in CHAN
Hope the guy is ok cuz he laid flat on the pitch following a bad fall when he contested for an aerial ball
The Guineans only came with one medical staff who had only a bag of ice pack and water bottle to attend to injured players shocked
CAF needs to take emergency aid more serious cuz the lives of players are at risk

My man there are some comments you don't pay attention to especially when it involved attacking player personality and not the game,we are not Rohr but Ezenwa is potential WC bound unless he let it slip.

Make i hear word oga. lol. no one hates Ezenwa, he's not just proved himself to be a reliable first choice keeper. 2nd choice maybe, but I'm sure he will be in Russia but not as our first choice. You don't always rate a goalkeeper by number of cleansheets, how many shots did he stop in those matches? You would leave a tall, well built and serious minded tallent as Uzoho for that short showman who can't even handle a cross perfectly? All the best sir!

Trying to downplay his poor positioning won't help the Eagles, so you want us to ignore his apparent and very dangerous flaws? so when we get to the world cup and our opponents start scoring due to his inability to deal with crosses or do you think all strikers will be forgiven like Slimani and the other Algerian guy who couldn't score from few yards out due to his inability to deal with crosses? make una continue to support mediocrity o, all of us eyes go clear when we reach world cup

So it is Uzoho that is proven right?

My friend in the absence of Enyeama, Ezenwa is a safer choice than Uzoho.

Talking about clean sheets. At the end of a tournament, rating of the goalkeepers are done from those that finished in top 4 and number of clean sheets kept is a major factor.

The poor position issue is often over magnified by many here.

Some even said he has not made any saves. Who saved all the Libyan shorts that were on target in that game?

There is no goalkeeper that is perfect when dealing with aerial battles.

What do we have goal keeper trainers in the team for?

Ermmm.... Bros I think this issue has been settled. Rohr has attached a trainer to Uzoho. I think who our number one goal keeper will be is 90% settled.
Uzoho
Ezenwa

Personal goalkeeper training is not enough.

exactly. The issue on ground is not really if Ezenwa or Uzoho will be in Russia, the issue is who is going as our #1.

I think that's one of the major reasons NFF has six friendlies lined up, because Rohr may have 95% of his 23-man team, but there are still questions as to who will make first team, he will need those six friendlies to test the most effective players in each position to know who to start in our opening game especially. That is why I am all for those six friendlies

PS: I would love for Alampasu to take that third goalie position, so we have

Uzoho
Ezenwa
Alampasu
