not so fast on uzoho, I also heard Rohr say a goal keeper trainer will also be sent to Alampasu too.

Where did he say Alampasu?

yes, I think the man is sold on uzoho if the way he described uzoho is any thing to go buy. He described him very fit, tall, athletic and having the perfect physical attributes of a shot stopper.
Well time will tell sha

Yes Rohr is listening to them/us
grin
jihday:
Trying to downplay his poor positioning won't help the Eagles, so you want us to ignore his apparent and very dangerous flaws? so when we get to the world cup and our opponents start scoring due to his inability to deal with crosses or do you think all strikers will be forgiven like Slimani and the other Algerian guy who couldn't score from few yards out due to his inability to deal with crosses? make una continue to support mediocrity o, all of us eyes go clear when we reach world cup

Watford Sack Isaac Success’ Manager Marco Silva After Poor Run Of Games

Kayode Ogundare

Complete Sports Nigeria

Super Eagles striker Isaac Success is set to get another manager after Watford took the decision to sack Marco Silva following a run of just one win in eleven Premier League games.

The decision came on the back of Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at Leicester City which left Watford in 10th but the club points at a “significant deterioration” in the wake of Everton’s attempts to lure the manager away from the club in November as reason for the sack.

“This has been a difficult decision and one not taken lightly,” read a club statement. “The club is convinced the appointment of Silva was the right one and had it not been for the unwarranted approach by a Premier League rival for his services we would have continued to prosper under his leadership.

“The catalyst for this decision is that unwarranted approach, something which the board believes has seen a significant deterioration in both focus and results to the point where the long-term future of Watford FC has been jeopardised.

“For the security and success of the football club, the board believes it has to make a change.

“The club will seek to make a swift appointment and there will be no further comment until that appointment has been made.”

The Portuguese was among the Toffees’ primary targets after they dismissed Ronald Koeman, with the 40-year-old having presided over an excellent start to the season following his move from Hull City in May.

But Watford rebuffed the Goodison Park club’s approaches, as the Merseysiders refused to pay the reported £20million fee demanded in order to release Silva from his contract.

Saturday’s loss leaves Watford only five points above 18th-placed Southampton, who play their game in hand on Sunday.

I have no issue with Ezenwa but when people start praising him unnecessarily it smells of hypocrisy. Here is a guy that has basically been on vacation in Morocco and instead of crediting the defenders we have been taken on a long journey of fibs and lies.
exactly my brother....if there is one player I think should make the super eagles provisional world cup list is....Stephen Eze.
that dude has some potentials...a very good defender in aerial duels as well....
I wanna watch him more closely before I start the call for him to replace omeruo in that super eagles list...

Ezenwa is not the best in he NPFL, I can prove this to anyone who cares to discuss this. His luck is working for him and that's all to it.
my brother you don't need to prove it...
many of us here know the truth....
alloy agu and his gimmicks...has been paving way for him....

Ezenwa is about the most consistent goalie in the league . He has been in the national team set up for quite a while now working under Keshi, Oliseh, Salisu and then Rohr and has gotten several exposures both in the continent and outside the continent.

This is a major edge he has over all other goalies in the NPFL.
I have always stated that goalkeepers selection is a lot more complex that outfield players selection.

There are a lot to the selection criteria.

so you're trying to defend his selection all this while even when he was not the first team goalie for his club side...

The reason, we have a goalkeeping issue is because we have not selected the best keepers in the league.

I believe that if we objectively selected the best keepers, we will not be looking for kids like Uzoho and Maduka Okafor.

Unfortunately, that objectivity from local coaches is lacking.
you're bless for this...I really believe henceforth after the expiration of alloy agu contract...foreign goal keepers trainers and coaches should be hired instead...
many of this indigenous goalie coaches are ridden wit sentiments...in their selections.

I believe right there in the league..there is someone who can fit the vacuum of a reliable and trusted super eagles goal keeper...

Onazi played 80 minutes, did not complete 1 successful tackle but had a 85% pass percentage. Not a great performance. In fairness, he did not play as a DM.

We honestly do. This can be sorted out short term if Enyeama could just agree to come back for one last time.

I don't think enyeama coming back will be possible....the best we pray for...is for the friendlies to reveal to us the best for the No 1 spot...
many here are talking of his poor handling of crosses...me fear more for the way he position himself in goal especially during penalty kicks...dude can't catch a mere penalty kick.

so, Enyeama is good at penalty kicks? Didn't they have to switch him for Aiyenugba while in Enyimba when it was time for PK?

Anyway, I don't see how Enyeama can be the immediate solution to anything or why he is even a topic of discussion these days. If Ezenwa sucks at penalties, wr have other goalies we can try. This overdependence on a player that is yet to even commit to the team is nauseating

how about in a situation during play...the opponent are favored wit a penalty kick ..
then we will.have to stick to whosoever we have on the pitch....reason why I don't want this ezenwa in goal post...
I have not really watched uzoho full debut...to know how good he is especially when it comes to PK.

even Enyeama lets in penalties, there are no guarantess of anything, and really, how many penalties are we likely to concede? How many had Enyeama saved before he became first choice goalie for us?

You don't have to watch any of the players really, you aren't the coach, so whether you watch or not, e no mean, if Rohr has watched the goalies, he will know who is better. Unlike other rudiments of keeping, it's pretty straightforward to tell how good a goalie is during training.

All this Enyeama talk is getting stale, Enyeama is not God....he was at three World Cups, and all his saves did not help us go farther than Round of 16. He is not the key to anything, the guy is struggling to save what is left of his career as it is

Auntie Vincent is a PK specialist.

I no de get BP anytime de wan play PK against us with Vinny in goal. As long as he is in goal we have a 75-25 chance of progressing. Vincent wey go tell im mate just to make sure dem de score their own kicks and leave the rest to him.

I can't even imagine seeing Ezenwa or Akpeyi in goal for Penalty shoot out.

Even if vincent won't be the first choice, a place on the bench won't be a bad one and don't forget our defence will be facing World class and fiery attacks at the mundial... Therefore we need a very TESTED, RELIABLE, DEPENDABLE AND EXPERIENCED goalkeeper as the last MAN of DEFENCE.
