Hi Gurus in d house, ps how many fuel pump does a c240 has? Since I left d car with one kazeem over fuel pump issue d car has been nightmarish. After buying fuel and starting d car, within minutes d car will stall and on inspection will notice that all d fuel has been pumped to the other chamber and none to d engine. Many Kazeem hv tried to sort this but to no avail, rt now there r 2 pumps there, one In each chamber, as d fuel is being pumped to d second chamber chamber, d other pump returns it to the first chamber. With all these d car is still not moving well. Ps Gurus, ur advices are badly needed here.

Your car has one fuel pump under the passenger side back seat, the one inside the driver side rear seat is the guage. The problem with your car is that the fuel pump is weak/faulty.Get a new fuel pump and the problem will be solved.

But how does the car behave if you have full tank?

Are you saying u installed a second fuel pump in your car?.....this is wrong if that is what u mean.
take the car to another benz mechanic cos the one handling your job clearly don't know what he is doing. I think you have a fuel filter or pump problem.

My Good people of Nairaland, this thread is aimed at discussing about experiences with all kinds of Daimler Chrysler (Mercedes Benz) vehicles,  with special reference to sedans, coupes, wagons and its likes,  feel free to comment on any one's contribution and suggestion,

You can proffer solutions here as well,  as a start, here's mine,

Yea as promised last time, my new experience on Mercedes Benz c-class is really awesome,  the car is so robust and heavy, it gives u a sense of confidence,  I got the ride on this Nairaland, and was lucky to be d first person to change the shocks and bushings, etc and perhaps even tyre,

its a nice ride- 1996 model, I presume it still has enough to give me, I had the opportunity to open the valves quite well this morning, immediately after sanitation,  damn! it moved, see me see BMW and camry dey do competition for road, b4 you know it, speedo don dey near 140km/hr,  while the ride was just telling me ,  "IS THAT ALL YOU CAN GIVE?", lol

I am planning to change the transmission oil next weekend,  its automatic, ,

pls advice, if you have any with rgds to this change,

fuel consumption with 2000 camry is same if not better ,  ,  I sometimes imagine say "so na wetin I dey miss since be dis?, lol

My camry even though newer, has been taken over by madam, but as she parked the car in the compound this morning she confessed she liked the handling,  I think I might stop her from using it even though it was actually meant for her,  lol cheesy cheesy

Please I need help. My W203 control arm bushings are bad so the car makes knocking noise on rough roads. I don't have a mechanic in Lagos yet. A friend got a mechanic who suggested I replace the control arms and not just the bushings. I am fine with it as long as it solves everything however, I need to confirm how much it will cost to replace the control arms. I don't want to be cheated. Thanks

Dear forumites, I'm having a problem with my 1995 C280's remote key. The remote stopped working and couldn't open the central lock last week. I eventually entered the car through the trunk to open the doors. Now car refuses to start but rolls very well on cranking with associated blinking of the red sensor light on the rearview mirror. I have changed the remote's batteries all to no avail. Please, what could be the issue(s)?
Thanks.

Isn't the green light supposed to blink when remote button is depressed?
Re: Mercedes Benz Thread by drhappy(m): 4:30am On Jan 17, 2018
Yes but that is not the case now. What i have is the red light blinking on cranking. The remote is obviously not working since I can lock and unlock the car with the button on the dashboard. My issue is whether the problem is the remote(does it need recalibration?) or the car's sensor controlled by the remote.

Hi all, please i need owners of E 320 2005-2007 models especially those in Lagos to shed light on the performance of this car
as regards reliability, maintenance, coping with Lagos traffic( Any overheating issues?), frequent issues common with the car.
And any other useful information for a aspiring owner. Candid advice will be appreciated. Thanks

The company connecting hose/pipe from my AC condenser to the compressor is bad, and they seem not to be able to get one here. Is it still available in the Lagos market?. How do I solve the issue. It's a Benz C230, 1998 model
