Tough period for Tammy Abraham, cry cry

The youngster doesn't even make the bench anymore. I really feel for him now.

I believe he might not have fully recovered from his injury.

He was supposed to return today but must have failed a late fitness test.

I don't have problem with his present situation. He is English and I am sure he'll get back on his feet soon. if not at Swansea, he'll easily get a loan deal at a decent side.

Wishing the lad all the best.

This is January, Malaga is trying to save their butts. This is not the time that a club would sign a player they don't need.

That does not follow.

A player can arrive in January and find it difficult to fit in. And then subsequently relegated to the bench.

Good Luck to Ideye but I am not excited over that move.

Agu is not slow and his attacking instinct is greater than that of all the defensive midfielders we currently have except for Oghenekaro when they play him there. Agu is the youngest defensive MF we have with a lot of rooms to grow and the presence of top players in the team is not helping him.

The thing is when people say Ogu is slow, I laugh... Lolz

There is a big difference between Speed and acceleration. What Ogu lack is acceleration not speed! sad

Ogu is tall, he has long legs, he can run, for each strides he makes Agu with his short legs will make two. He can chase down a player with speed, but for real, he is slow to pick up that speed.... In order words, he has a slow acceleration

Anyone can get relegated to the bench u don't have to be a January buy for that to happen. What I know is that clubs make short term impact signings around this time of the year. Kalu Uche has done this a couple times with Levante and Almeria. Ramos from Dortmund went on loan to Granada before he went to China. In Spain there is less money to waste so u can bet no Malaga are not signing Ideye as a joke. I jut don't get how u are not excited about a move that takes him from the reserve team of a Chinese club into La Liga.

Good for him and his career.

But I do not expect much from that move.

I don't see any factors stopping him from being a success. I could see him joining the list of players who flopped in England but made it in La Liga.

Rohr: I’m Not Leaving Super Eagles For Bordeaux Job

Rohr: I’m Not Leaving Super Eagles For Bordeaux Job

By Adeboye Amosu: Nigeria head coach Gernot Rohr has denied speculations in the French media that he has been contacted by French club Girondis Bordeaux to handle the team, Completesportsnigeria. com (CSN) reports.

Rohr had a long history with Bordeaux having enjoyed an illustrious playing and coaching career with the former French champions.

The German played for Les Girondins for 12 years, making 352 appearances.

In 1996, he led the club to the UEFA Cup final, where they lost to Bayern Munich over two legs.

“I have not been contacted to resume as coach of Girondins de Bordeaux,” Rohr stated in an interview with French online news outlet tf1.fr

“It’s a club that’s in my heart, and when I come back to France, I’m in this region.

“But I’m under contract with Nigeria, we’re going to do the World Cup, it’s an adventure that interests me first and foremost.”

The 64-year-old, who was contracted by the Nigeria Football Federation in August 2016, recently penned a new two-year contract following a successful World Cup qualifying campaign.

Southampton Premier League Debutant Commits International Future To Nigeria

Southampton's new kid on the block Michael Obafemi has committed his international future at senior level to Nigeria ahead of his country of birth, Republic of Ireland, allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report.

The 17-year-old had been on the radar of Nigeria's national team coaches and the Nigerian Federation even before he made his Premier League debut in the Saints' 1-1 draw vs Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, January 21.

Obafemi was one of the best players for Team Nigeria UK when they lost to a Golden Eaglets squad parading the likes of Kelechi Nwakali and Victor Osimhen in a pre-World Cup friendly in June 2015.

Coach Emmanuel Amuneke was pleased with his performance and had mulled over the possibility of adding him to the roster but the striker had to return to England.

''He traveled with us to Abuja, he was the best player for Team Nigeria UK. Just last week, we got a call from his mother that he wants to change, he wants to play for Nigeria not Ireland,'' a top source told allnigeriasoccer.com.

''He has been scoring goals regularly for Southampton U18s, we brought him to Nigeria when he was with Leyton Orient, he's a fantastic player.''

Obafemi, who has caps for Republic of Ireland U19s, has scored 12 goals for Southampton U18s this season.

There you go pointing accusations fingers.

Did i say it is not a great deal for the player?
I don't just believe in his abilities anymore. That is it.

If he goes there and start banging in goals week in week out, good for him. I am just being real, I don't expect much from him in the La Liga. He is past his prime. And I hope he proves me wrong.
