KDB at 260 you claimed is the highest City earner and would be like 3rd in Man utd squad just 10K above Lukaku and 40K above retiree Zlatan

Provide evidence of the weekly wage of the 2 teams and factor in the new KDB and Alexis deal and lets see

Update yourself

Top 10 transfer fees paid by EPL clubs

1. Paul Pogba 94.5M - Manchester United
2. Romelo Lukaku 76.2M - Manchester United
3. VIrgil Van Dyke 70.9M Liverpool
4. Naby Keita 67.5M Liverpool
5. Angel DiMaria 67.5M Manchester United
6. Kevin DeBruyne 66.6M Manchester City
7. Raheem Sterling 56.2M Manchester City
8. Alvaro Morata 55.8M Chelsea
9. Anthony Martial 54M Manchester United
10 Fernando Torres 52.6M Chelsea

Of the top 10, Manchester United 4, City 2, Liverpool 2, Chelsea 2

The top 2 were bought by Mourinho, None of the top 10 was bought by Guardiola

More lies. Pogba is 89m. Ukaku is 75m. Van Dijk is 75m. The funniest is Martial's own. Who paid Monaco those useless figures written up there? Man United or Kponkpon FC of Ogbomosho? Martial will have to fulfil everything in his contract for United to pay that amount written up there.

This dayo na fool. So now its about weekly wage and not who spent the most in buying players. He's even shigted it to top two most expensive players. How much have both managers spent in the same period they joined their respective clubs

So who is buying the league, who is the checkbook manager

5 of the top 10 from one club. Only one from Man City

Already debunked the lies.

sinizia:

You'll clutch onto the tiniest and silliest reasons to win an argument. A checkbook manager involves ONLY the money spent to assemble his squad NOT their wages. Nothing concern wages with a checkbook manager, but no, you must clutch onto it to start argument wey no suppose dey.

Also, this picture is nothing but a heap of unrefined dumb lies. Just like other sites peddling whatever wages suits them, BR is no different. I've read 500k, 400k, 350k, over 450k, even 600k from different sites saying that's what Sanchez is being paid. None of them seem to have the true fact.

KDB signed a new contract, most sites wrote that he's being paid 290k basic salary. They didn't add the signing-on fee, the bonus fees depending on various factors, the image rights etc. But immediately Sanchez signed, both non-existent and existing clauses, bonuses, even his dogs' feeding fees were added. The hypocrisy is deafening. Some even said it'll cost us 180m over 4 years but KDB's is not added. Ibra's wages is still left at 220 AFTER HE TOOK A PAY CUT. Just see what hypocrisy has done to the site. KDB's wages are not even there.

If we add every fvcking bonus, clause, image right in KDB's contract, he'll be earning not less than 450k a week!!

Firmino has clauses in his contract that depending on which one he attains can fetch him over 200k a week. Nobody talks about it. Neymar was being paid €26m (loyalty money) for signing his last contract at Barca, nobody makes a fuss about it. Who knows how much Messi and his dad will make for agreeing to a new contract including the bonuses in Messi's contract, but na Sanchez matter una carry for head like chronic headache.

Wailing wailers!!

Transfermarkt is a reputable football sites and logic dictates that those fees cannot such round figures that you posted. Those numbers you posted look like aproximates

Just like if you want to buy a car, Most people will say 5M, 25M but in actual fact its rarely a round figure like you posted, A car advertized for 5M might likely be 5.12M and the one for 25M might be 24.7M

I have a reputable site to back mine up, show us yours that put Pogbas at exactly 89M

Regardless of the source, Mourinho bought the 2 most expensive EPL players and Guardiola didnt buy any of the top 5

The same source the money for transfers come from is where the wages come from. 500K a week player means 26M a year over a 5yr contract that is already over 130M. So wages are a huge part of the deal

Give us evidence of what the total package of Alexis is from Man Utd, what he gets weekly

KDB signed a new deal which is reported by ESPN as 260K Pounds and by Telegraph as 280K, that is still less than what Pogba is currently earning, Bring KDB to Man Utd with his new deal and he wil be 3rd highest earner thats even before the reported Pogba deal coming
Still shows Man utd is shelling out significantly more wages than their next competitior

500 + 290 = 790 thats Ma Utd top 2, 280 + 220 = 500K a week thats what City top 2 earn thats about 300k difference before adding Lukaku and Zlatan

Talking about Zlatan, He was on over 350 and in some report closer to 400K a week before the pay cut

Did we buy the League when we signed Zlatan for free? or Sanchez who we gave arsenal Mkhitaryan for?

If Pogba who is our most expensive player earns around 50k per month, what will you make of that?

what if all the players playing for Man Utd right now were bought for 30m and 40m each but receive wages of about 300 to 400k? is that buying the league too?

You See why players' wages doesn't correlate with buying the league? Rather the amount these players were purchased for, Weekly wages has little or no relevance when we talk about buying the league

The question you should be asking is who has spent more on players? There you will find the correlation

The total amount spent is transfer fees plus wages. Zlatan wasnt playing for charity, Man Utd was paying him

there is a reason Transfer fee comes first and is the metrics we use to judge a player when he is not performing, When Neymar plays poorly, people are quick to point to his transfer fee first not how much he earns

Buy Players. Buy the league

Man City should have 3 players on that list

Man Utd 4

Liverpool 2

Chelsea 1

Buy Players. Buy the league

That's not true. Alexis on 500k a week will earn over 120m in 5yrs contract, so we are going to ignore this 120m paid because it's noir transfer fees? It's part of the total cost of getting a player.

If you only pay transfer fees and you don't pay competitive wages, do you think any player will move to your club?

E.g Barcelona didn't buy Messi but they bought Song, does that mean The money they've paid for Messi is less than alex Song

Players receive pay cuts so it doesn't really add up, once a player has been bought, the Transfer fee is written on stones, it doesn't go higher or lower.. Unlike weekly wages that can change at anytime

Now let's assume Man Utd's first 11 were bought for 90m each and were paid 400k each per month and suddenly they receive a pay cut(100k). how significant do you think the wages will be to buying the league? what will be your argument?

You claimed Zlatan received close to 400k or more, but now has received a pay cut, Right now(after the pay cut) Is Zlatan still part of Your "buying the league" argument? not forgetting the fact that he was brought in for free

Now let's look at Pogba, He was bought for 89m and receives close to 300k a week, let's say he gets a pay cut(150k) can we still use him in your argument of "buying the league".. Yes we can because he was bought for a huge sum

Players only receive pay increase or cut when renegotiating and signing new contracts. Clubs just don't arbitrarily increase or reduce players salary

Do you know what a contract Is? Alexis signed for 500k a, week, if he cops a 4year injury like cazorla, man utd is still obliged to pay him the 500k every month

Of course I know what it entails, That is not my point

My point is, what correlates with buying the league is transfer fee because that is the fee that doesn't change once a player is signed, the rest can change at anytime

You cannot neglect the total amount spent on players in the transfer market by a club just because you know pep tops the list in that aspect and decide to focus on wages to help yourself

When we talk about buying the league, total amount spent in purchasing players come first not weekly wages, And in this case, Pep comes first in the Mr buying the league contest

This is not true. So if a manager comes gets Messi Suarez, Ronaldo Neymar on free transfers or low undervalue transfers like Alexis but offer them 1M a week when normal players at his rivals are getting 200k a week each by your definition he hasnt bought the league

or will you say such manager won the league by spending $0
