I am a 22yr old guy.I have written jamb twice and failed to get admitted.The second one I wrote was last year.I scored 238 and averaged 67 in screening,but somehow, those whom I scored higher than ended up getting admitted.Though painful, I've come to a conclusion that school isn't for me.

I resolved to do business but capital is a stumbling block right now so Mama said I should serve a guy whom would settle me after 6yrs.(The man sells computer parts in Niger de Republic).

So please nairalanders, is it adviceable to risk six years of my life serving someone?

In present day nigeria one will school for 4-5yrs +1yr nysc with no assurance of getting a job, atleast in this case u were promised settlement after six yrs.

My brother, even if you are 40 years there's nothing wrong in serving someone for six years as far as you are sure that at the expiration, you will be able to stand on your own. 6 yrs is nothing, before you know, it has already come and gone.

Apprenticeship is one of the surest way out of poverty. It is not just about the money but the experience is what you going to learn. Don't focus on the money that your boss will settle you with but the knowledge of the biz.
