It's only United players that receive bonuses and image right fees na

It shows the hypocrisy and glaring bias against us. KDB signed a new contract only his basic salary was reported. But Sanchez signs for United, his dogs' upkeeping wages are included.

when psg signed neymar must fans spoke about it, the fee and the salary but why won't you guys act cool when anyone comes to talk about sanchez's fee and salary. why do you guys get so defensive. undecided

kini big deal.

i've not read 1 post saying why i believe sanchez is worth earning 350k up to 500k on weekly bonuses.

it may be that you guys inwardly don't think he is worth and that truth is biting you inside grin but remember is it your money. after all a 75m defender gave an assist against his own team cheesy, he is still worth 75m i think grin

STORY

show us the amount KDB is earning before tax. don't forget to add his image right, sign on fee, and agent fee.

It is clear that KDBs wage is purely before tax. All the figures we have heard have ranged from 260-290k. The other talk about image right, sign-on fee and agent fee do not make sense. Clubs can come up with any reasons to pad a player's wage. What they normally add to make the wages what they are, are goal bonuses, appearance bonuses, UCL bonus, UCL goal bonus etc

It has always been a tradition of clubs to pay these fees you have above (image, sign-on bla bla) as lump-sums or one-off payments never to include it in the weekly wage. It is even cheaper to. So defend your club if you may, but do not expect to gazump us while at it.

lol.. baba there is a media war going on when United is brought into discussions. One of the reasons we are now the biggest club is because of the media. They talk about United morning day and night. If you open any football related website right now.. You'll see a united article in its first 3 articles. They create negative stories about us, they add figures that suit them on our players wages because they know there are millions of anti-united audience eager to get these information on united and knowing fully well negative news sells faster so they keep churning them out article after article and as you have seen from this thread, people can't wait to read anything negative about us. If the real De Bruyne figures are put out, we all know nobody would be interested in reading it, articles about players from clubs in England bar united do not generate enough clicks, impression, adsense money hence the the obvious negative press united and anyone associated with the club receives. It only saddens me when people choose to ignore the real realities which in this case is that De Bruyne, many of City players, Chelsea players have their wages represented correctly after tax in the press because no one wants to read about them but United's are reported with additional strange figures just for some small change. The other day it was an article about Pogba wanting more money because Sanchez earns £400,000 weekly after tax..Another funny figure. For them, in other clubs Ronaldo, Messi and co earning huge wages doesn't disrupt the dressing room.. Only at United because only United exists in world football in their bizarre stories.

No man. In the past, City and other minnows used to buy players simply because of wealth - not for trophies or ambition. Then United was the team that signed players who wanted to win and be part of something huge. But these days (especially with the Sanchez signing) it appears like the tables have turned hence the controversy. Pogba, Lukaku and now Alexis seem to be players who moved for pecuniary reasons.

Abeg i don laff scatter..

KDB is reported to sign a 290k per week deal. Is this before or after tax? If it is after tax, how much do you think the full package will be? Sir can you also tell us if De Bruyne will collect some change for image right as he is currently the best player in the league?

It is before tax.

If City are to give him bonuses for his image, they will pay him a lump-sum of say 5M or 10M GBP. You saw Neymar's loyalty bonus in Barca, was it included in his wage? No. So the excuse that Alexis' huge wage is as a result of the image rights etc does not add up.

So most of these write-ups are lies. I honestly don't know what Sanchez earns, but I do know most of these sites are just whipping up imaginary figures from thin air to attract readers.

So of all the figures they could lie about or imagine they choose 400,450,500k. Even if they want to lie they will lie with sense or run out of business

It's not a must and there's no rule that state all club must follow a certain pattern of payment. You don't know how clubs decides to negotiate their contracts. Some can do it on weekly basis, some might not. The loyalty bonus of Neymar is different from other clauses/bonuses in his contract. Neymar's image right, match bonus were different from his loyalty bonus for signing a new contract. Don't lump them together to win this argument.

I have not claimed to be an authority, I am only stating what makes financial sense. If the figures being bandied around are anything to go by, Alexis signed a contract of anywhere between 75.6-129.6M for 4.5 years. Would it not have been cheaper to pay him 250k/week for 4.5 years with a lump-sum of 10M Pounds? It would still have cost United 64M for 4.5 years as against what is above.

As you can see, Alexis signed for money any which way we look at it.

Just pure deductive reasoning. Never bothered looking for a link. If you have any links showing him earning 500k a week that would be nice.

60M but then he had a year left and Arsenal were still courting him - convincing him to stay back. City tried to be smart; told him to stay till season end and then come free. They would probably have given him 25M loyalty money to do that but they were not going to upset their wage structure to appease him which is where United came in.

You love links, this information is readily online. Which is where the gist about his wage demands came from. His agent, presented it to City so they could beat United's offer and Pep said no. Same thing happened with Dani Alves.

It is only story when it does not suit your narrative.

Sanchez loved United so much, they offered him big money and yet went to ask City if they could give him the same.

Mourinho needed to win somewhere since he was losing on the field and on the league table. By season end Mourinho go lift up Sanchez as his trophy
