Oh yeah...Betis is now the benchmark for getting all of Europe scared.

Huddersfield 2 - 1 United
Huddersfield 1 - 3 Chelsea
Maybe Barca and the rest of Europe should be scared of Chelsea since we all want to be childish. Abeg go sit down.

At least Ddipset understood my post and where i was coming from. The rest of u just bleating up & down while jumping to conclusions half-cocked!
Keep shifting the goal post, it was in reference to how betis has performed this season, don't just jump into a discuss you have no idea about, who cares about huddersfield, man u n Chelsea, the time to focus on Chelsea is coming not now

With the score still 0-0 after almost an hour, Ernesto Valverde turned to his bench looking for a player who could change the game. Real Betis had weathered the storm and looked ready to give FC Barcelona a real test.

Valverde summoned Paulinho, a player who is a good bet for a goal. With Paulinho already warmed up and on the touchline awaiting to come on, just getting the final instructions from the boss... suddenly... boom! Ivan Rakitić opened the scoring for Barcelona.

Valverde immediately had second thoughts. He sent Paulinho back to warm up. He didn’t need him quite yet.

After about 5 minutes, Valverde called his player back up. Again, he was given final instructions before the player was to come on. When suddenly.... boom! Again! Lionel Messi had scored.

Both coach and player laughed on the sidelines. Maybe Paulinho should always stay there in his lucky spot!

This time though, Valverde felt comfortable with the switch and still brought Paulinho on.

“Every time we called him, we scored a goal,” the boss later explained “but we already had an idea of what he would do. It was simply a change of plans, nothing else.”

Absolutely glad Rafinha is gone.

Only thing he ever contributed to the club was getting new injuries our medical team did not even know about.

Up next....Rakidonkey...though he's been good lately,so I would wait till like the summer transfer window.

NOPE. If I recall correctly, he was shipped off at half time. Watch the highlights again, he rarely made good use of all the space he had on that right wing.

He was Barca's highest scoring midfielder last season until injury plagued him. That lad has paid his dues, and I'm glad he's getting a good deal with the Inter switch.

Truth is Barcelona's status demands the highest quality of players, even from its academy. Good just doesn't cut it, you have to be great, exceptional, or world class to make the team cut. Rafinha alcantara unlike thiago is good. Nothing more. There's really not much quality he is known for except strength, and tackling.

If you look at players like Xavi, Ini, Busquets, Guardiola,...and you compare rafinha, Jonathan Dos Santos, Oriol Romeu, D. Suarez, you would understand the point better. Sergi Roberto has clearly shown potential to be a key member of barca in a few seasons. You can see his special ability to make runs from deep.

Just saying lamasia products do not always meet Barca's standard. So it's no need to take it personal when they are offloaded. It's just important that the club makes sure they get good deals with reputable clubs

See, that's the external difference.

When ronaldo is in a discuss you ronaldo fan boys talk about goals and nothing else, i mean nothing else!
cuz there is nothing else to talk about.

Messi fàns talk about goals and several other things, i mean several other things!

Now tell us about:

-number of assists.
-number of chances created.
-number of dribbles.
-number of through passes.
Just even say the number of attempted dribbles by ronaldo sef.

Abi are all of these not part of football?

Well,
Personally I think ronaldo has been finished since 2 or 3 years ago.
Sleeping around the 18 yard box and winning awards off the tap ins you score doesn't change that, it only disguises that.

That's why at some point in every season for the past 4 years we keep saying that ronaldo is finished.

Whenever the man has a goal drought the world of football unanimously agrees that ronaldo is finished.

That's simply because without scoring the man is useless to football.
And when his goals finally dry out he becomes completely useless.

i think it's unfair to put dribbling in there as the man can't even dribble past his new babies. If Madrid gets Neymar, you will only hear of Ronaldo when he beats up Neymar for dribbling him in Training.

I think their golden generation is over.

Too bad they allowed Real Madrid deny them twice, the champions league.

Athletico Madrid are done!

Well Rafinha was the main brain behind the first goal that boosted the morale of the other players... Safe to say he played a big role.

I totally agree with what u typed concerning the standard of La Masia products.
