Hello Wonderful People, Based on referrals on here, i think stanbic ibtc does it for me. i just have a little question. can i fill the form online and do all the registration online without going into the bank? i actually saw the form online filled it but nowhere to submit the filled form. is there an email i have to mail it to? please provide me with it. also an i do all documentation now and pay the funds into the account next week? Gurus in the house help a newbie like me with the necessary registration details. |

bolarinnwa: Download the stanbic mobile app and then open the account via the app.. Just follow the instructions and it will direct you to the page where you will pay via your debit card. They will then send you log in details within 48hours after you register then you can transact as you wish. Just that there is a limit of about 250k voa the app.. You will need to register in the bank by updating your details if you wish to transact above the limit.. 1 Like |

Investment made easy with stanbic mmf. I subscribed via the mobile app yesterday. My account got credited in less than 24hours. The online experience is great. I have also successfully redeemed my investment via the mobile app as well. Tho there may be a few issues as claimed by some here, still stanbic has a great online platform. Quick tip for anyone that has issues with account not being credited. Go to their Twitter handle. It's the best way to get issues resolved. I've used it several times and it has worked for me. Response is swift 1 Like |

The interest on my available balance is slightly more than the displayed interest on my app. Please why is this so? |

dadebayo1: Thats SIAML number right? I still spoke with them today, they claimed they didnt get the fund. GtB claims the fund left my account. Later on they said the problem might be with interswitch. Now i have no other number to call, i definitely do not have any business with interswitch. |

dadebayo1: Thank u bro, i will call on Monday. I will also visit their lagos office on Monday if possible. Thanks a lot. Isn't it ironic that i have incurred several costs on calls, and now transport that is way beyond the interests i was trying to derive from the investment. Talk abt making losses!! |

haibe:Dear sir, You may definitely have a business with Inter switch if you carried out the transaction through the Quicktellar platform, which is likely. In January 2017, I also transferred a somewhat huge sum on an ATM from my Stanbic to my Zenith account. The response from the machine after the transaction was something like "...issuer or switch inoperative" or so. The former account was debited, but the latter wasn't credited. Long story short, it was by contacting Interswitch that I got to find that the fund was successfully transferred to Zenith, but their own network issue at the time caused the hang. They also followed up with the transaction by sending E-mails and reminder E-mails to Zenith, copying me each time. Eventually after about 84 hours after my very first complaint to Stanbic, the zenith guys credited my account. Reach Interswitch on +234 700 906 5000. You can also use Google to get their other contacts and E-mail address. 1 Like |

haibe: I dont call with my credit oo... I am a customer and each time i call them after introduction i simply ask the rep to call me back and then i drop the call after the rep takes down my details ot works for me everytime.... Bank pays for the calls... Another method i use is to use the online chat then i simply request for a call back... They will always call back... . 2 Likes 1 Share |

dadebayo1: What is thw name of the mobile app called? Secondly, if I should start up MMF with N5000 or N10,000, how much will be my interest or dividend quaterly, daily and year? I hope to increase it in the near future. I am just a small salary earner hoping to increase my finances by investing. Thank you!! |

Re: Mutual Funds by dadebayo1(m): 1:49pm On Jan 27, 2018 |
coolangel54: You can download the app from google playstore it is called stanbicibtc mobile app #appyness once you download the app install it and follow the instructions under the "open an account" option.. Then you select mutual fund and follow the instructions... A simple way i calculate is amount to invest divided by 100 then answer multiplied by 17% (which is current interest rate) then you divide the answer by 12 to give you monthly interest and further divide by 30days to give you daily interest... for example #5000\100 = 50 Then 50 x17% (interest) = #850 yearly Then #850 /12months = #70.83k monthly Then #70.83k monthly /30days in a month = #2.36 dsily So for your 5k thats how much you make... Guess it is still better than leaving it in a savings account... You can start small and continue to add more funds to your investment as you wish.. All the best ma 1 Like |

haibe:Not sure. But you should dial the line to see if you get a response. I however remember there were instances when I spoke with them at times later than 7pm. So I suppose their support centre could be the 24/7 type. |
Re: Mutual Funds by freeman67: 6:34pm On Jan 27, 2018 |
@dadebayo1 The interest rate for SIAML MMF is no longer upto 17% it's now between 15 & 16%.. @coolangel54 If I were in you I will not concentrate on what I will gain for now...I will rather use it as a form of savings instead of putting the money in savings account .. If you are consistent in topping whatever amount you can afford (not below 5k) with time you will see your savings grow before you start considering it as an investment option. 3 Likes |
