Nice write up.I wonder why some women would do such if they are found guilty of such they should pay for it.The fact still remains that women have been victims of rape and some of them do not have the opportunity to speak up on such abuses.Rapists should be dealt with and their victims should get justice.Rape is still a disease in our society which really needs a cure.

I totally agree. Rapists should serve jail terms and if any woman accuses someone falsely (putting them at risk of this jail term) if proven false, the woman should serve equal prison terms.

While we think about these things, one should realize in a court of law, its mostly never about the truth... But about who has a better lawyer and can prove his/her case.

There are also tons of real rape cases where the perpetrators got away because they had better lawyers or had some sort of influence. While this shouldn't deter anyone, we should look at things from every point of view.

Whether we like it or not, we just have to accept the fact that these things will happen.

People will get molested, whether male or female and people will also get falsely accused.

So on a lighter note, if a lady forces herself on a man without his consent or under some sort of drug induced scenario, and gets pregnant. Is the man responsible?

Rape is a serious crime, not any form of joke. You can't be allowed to ruin another person with word of mouth. That would be utterly barbaric. You must prove the allegation against him.

As a young growing boy i remember having similar conversations with my friends, we usually remarked to ourselves how a woman you have never seen before could walk up to you anywhere and accuse you of raping her and people would believe.

we all know this to be true.

It is your words against hers and who do you think they would believe?
We grew up with this fear knowing fully well that it was a huge possibility.

Then, rape was a serious matter. women didn't bank on this seeming victim's power, rape accusations were reserved for actual cases.
Today. we are seeing a dangerous change, the rape weapon is becoming overused and this i argue will affect women negatively

The recent trends of popular culture and cultivating a form of victim's culture for women is something women should thread carefully with or it is literally going to blow up in their faces.
Once a woman accuses a man of rape he is guilty by default. this is the next possible assumption.

So many men have been destroyed by this, so many careers marred by this and many serving jail terms even though innocent.
This article is inspired by the recent higgy hagga on going between a taxify driver and an actress.
I watched the video, i gave as much consideration to each side as much as i can.

This wasn't a rape case and anyone who watches that video and judges with an objective mind must see this.
Rape accusation was the weapon.
None the less i am not here to discuss this incident, twitter is doing much of that already.

I am here to address this overly popular victim's culture women are cultivating and the negative implications it will have on women everywhere. With the number of false accusations flying around, the number of innocent men marred by these false accusation and a seeming utilization of the rape victim card for personal clap backs will have severe negative consequences on the women folk.

A time will come when no one will believe a rape accusation from a woman owing to the fact that many are coming to terms that many women use this as a weapon just to get back at a man.

This will be very unfortunate as it will be unfair to actual rape victims.

Someone isn't guilty simply because you said so.

We should objectively investigate these matters because serious issues must be met with equally serious objectivity.
