Yes I said it, For a man to write such a stunning and overwhelming letter to that dullard and till date APC still feel the pain of that letter then Baba should be a stoner for real! Some say it kills brain but trust me if used well, without abuse it can be the best thing that would ever happen to you in ur world. Weed is not a drug but God's natural plant! Respect to the responsible stones out there, who blaze as fuxk but still go around with their duty in life. Jah Guild you from evil. Stoner #LegalizeNotPenalize 4 Likes |

Naturally, Our Leaders don't want weed Legalized so as to Keep majority of the Peoples Mind Closed. That's just the sad truth. Have you ever asked yourself why is it only Intelligent folks who talk about Weed Legalization or Even entertain the idea of Weed decriminalization?? Oh well that's because most people have been made to generally believe anything that has to do with weed(A natural Herb anyway..silly right?) is BAD! Well I'm glad More Nigerians are Getting Smarter and hopefully Sometime in the Future.. We will get More groups of smart and Intellectual individuals in the Government who can Get our First Decriminalization Bill Passed. I have the hope that we will Get it Right one day in Nigeria. 3 Likes |

It means marijuana is a medicinal plant. But large pharmaceuticals around the world knowing its healing properties had to ensure the govts ban its use so that they can sell the different drugs that often time do not even cure pples ailments though the drugs are made from diz same marijuana, while making billions of dollars in profits. On the other hand, since our area boiz and other ganja men realizes it can make them high, they started abusing it making dem, most times, commit crime.... So, its has been seen as a bad influence on youths and d society frowns at you if they see it in ur hand. Its more like the codeine cough syrup abuse too. Soothes cough and catarrh while an overdose of codeine, y'all know what it does, dont you? #ScienceStudenttinz 1 Like |

If only the govt can legalize the herb, the revenue that will accrue from it will be huge. Almost everyone smokes herb so just legalize it and move on. Why do u think Netherlands is one of the happiest countries in the world? |

We have not even de criminalise it neither have we legalise it yet the rate of weed induced crime is very high, weed induced irresponsible life style is killing and destroying our youth's future, weed induced physco mental problems are so high( infact in Nigeria, it is the highest cause of madness). How many effective psychiatric hospital do we have. Every family should be ready to have at least 2 colo-mentals in their house. |

tete7000: First of all Nice signature write up.. really insightful. Anyway i do think your perspective on marijuana and its uses might be quite Limited if you think smoking is the only use this herb can offer.. Nevertheless on the smoking aspect, Just like cigarettes(Which has been proven to give cancer) and alcohol(which literally is poison when consumed in high quantity) are legal, what marijuana advocates are fighting for is a chance for this Less harmful substance to also be available for people who want to consume it reasonably without having to face the wrath of the law when other more harmful things are legal consumption. This is a democracy and I'm sure you know that No one can force you into any of these activities as we all have the right to choose what is right or wrong for ourselves and our children.. Our only Plea is, STOP Sending people to Jail For mere Possession and Responsible Use of Marijuana. Simple. 2 Likes |

MrMystrO: For the 99.5% of recreational weed smokers who have never, and will never experience adverse reactions to marijuana, there is NO clinical evidence that links marijuana consumption with any predisposition to insanity. That said, individuals that may ALREADY be prone to bouts of mental instability, would of course be well advised to stay away from the entire spectrum of psychoactive substances, ranging from Class A narcotics, on down to alcohol and weed, so as to minimize the odds of full blown psychosis occurring while such unstable individuals are under the influence. The second category of the population that should AVOID weed use until adulthood, are students under the age of 18, whose still-developing adolescent brains, so vital for earning good grades, would be compromised by the use of potent marijuana strains that are now widely available on the legal and illegal market worldwide. In specific and limited circumstances, weed CAN trigger insanity, among a very tiny minority of users who would be better off quitting ALL drugs forever, in the interest of themselves and of society. For the vast majority of cannabis users, however, the medical benefits of RESPONSIBLE and moderate use far outweigh whatever imaginary health risks continue to be pandered by fear-mongering, cigarette-smoking alcohol drunkards who think they should be free to continue IMPOSING their outdated and scientifically debunked prejudices on societies that have evolved past such archaic thinking. See how Ganja tourism is taking Jamaica by storm, now that cannabis is FINALLY legal in that holiday destination. Nigeria would do well to embrace the legalization of ganja growing and personal use, so as to enjoy similar economic benefits, whilst also phasing out the current reliance on skull-mining, kidnapping, crude oil smuggling, armed robbery and internet fraud, from the nation's entrepreneurial landscape. Check out Jamaica Mon ! https://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/sep/09/jamaica-ganja-tours-draw-tourists 3 Likes |

myproperty: First of all Are you a doctor, how do you know his mental illness was caused by weed? This is where most Nigerians Fail.. Conclusion without In depth Analysis. It has been Proven that Anyone who Becomes mentally unstable from taking any Hypnotic substance, Even alcohol, Has a medical history of mental instability that probably runs in his or her family and is Purely Genetic. Look it up online. If you drink a bottle of alcohol and you're fine, and someone else consumes half bottle and starts behaving weird, will you blame it on the alcohol or the person? cuz if its the alcohol then all alcohol should be banned. But No, instead you advice such a person to desist from taking alcohol no matter the quantity because it posses a health risk to him in particular. Same goes for marijuana. its purely genetics and has nothing to do with the plant itself. I hope you get it now? 2 Likes |

MrMystrO: My room mate back then in school had mental problem because of the use of weed. The Doctor told us that the weed he used triggered it. I should have used the word trigger instead of cause, in the main text I said weed induced psycho-mental problems. And I am sure if legalised the rate of madness that weed would trigger in this country would be unbearable. |
Re: Obasanjo Advocates For Marijuana Decriminalization: What Does It Mean? by MrMystrO(m): 10:48am On Jan 29, 2018 |
Jakumo: Awesome piece! And that is why like Every other Recreational substance, its Use Should be Regulated with laws to Make sure it is Not available to Minors Under 18 Years, And those who use it, Only use RESPONSIBLY. Spot On! |
Re: Obasanjo Advocates For Marijuana Decriminalization: What Does It Mean? by myproperty(m): 10:57am On Jan 29, 2018 |
MrMystrO: I never this response went through. I didn't give one reason for not legalising it. In the area of weed, some people may never experience or exhibit any form of madness if they didn't take weed, it is the weed that triggered it out cause they may have it in their gene. But for alcohol you already had the problem, that is it had already manifest before the alcohol can become a problem |
