What of Maroc '88 final? We scored a clean goal (Henry Nwosu) but it was disallowed. Only for that dubious ref to award Cameroon a soft penalty. I think Eguavoen caused it.

That one na annoyance everybody take finish that match. Our team had a good tournament overall and were accorded a heroic welcome.

The 1984 final na Nigeria scored first o. Muda Lawal. How we allowed Cameroon to score 3 pass us is still a mystery to me cause I only have memories of the first half. I didn't like football like that then.

He was part of their coaching crew to Korea/Japan 2002 WC.

Henry Nwosu goal against Cameroon in the final of maroc 88 was a day light robbery and the Gabonese referee Jamel was just horrible in the final cos he later gave penalty to Cameroon after a tackle from Sunday Eboigbe against Roger Mills,Milla Roger scored the penalty.This was a tournament Keshi need to shuttled between Morocco and Belgium with private jet from Anderlecht.

Nigeria against Ghana was a semi final and as you said man no fit eat after that match cos i have Ghanians as neighbors then,not easy.It was a match that really exposed Alloy Agu and a match that really showed that Keshu was a great leader.I remember Siasia hit a bar on the tail end of the match but very good match though we lost.

Dimeji was a class with skill and pace better than Ahmed Musa of today then who is Musa Yahaya.Dimeji couldn't make it with eagles in the 90s cos he messed up with Westerhoff,not really a discipline player but extremely good,honestly i will only rate Finidi George ahead of him not even Tijani Babangida.

I was a football fanatic as a kid... I used to go to my dad's car to listen to radio when Nigeria league teams were playing on the continent. Ofcourse, when NEPA did their thing.

Iwanyanwu Nationale, Bendel Insurance, Julius Berger, BCC Lions of Gboko, Abiola babes.. We used to have several teams sponsors by companies and individuals.

My first team was BCC Lions, then later on Julius Berger and Shooting Stars.
