Good morning everyone. . I planned to apply for my study permit online but was advised to go the paper route..the only problem now is after I filled the questionnaire online and my document list was generated, I was asked to provide bank statements for four months but while checking the Lagos visa office (IMM 5832) document, it says 6 months. Getting another bank statement would literally get my head chopped off cos my papa na tyrant. Does it matter if I use the 4 months SOA?

Good morning all. Do you think embassies especially Canada confirms ones Account balance from your bank to know if you have funds for your Study Permit and your stay in Canada? Or they just confirm if the statement was printed by the bank that's all without having your bank balance information?

Hello loveson,
Be guided that embassies, most especially Canadian embassy don't check ones account balance, the only thing they do is to verify the genuineity of such account and the transcations made on the said bank statements, this happens most often when they are not sure or convinced about the transactions carried out on the bank statement.
No bank releases his/her customer account balance to any embassy, unless there are investigations that you are into fraud business that's when EFCC can come in not embassy.

Hello KlausMike,

Using a 4 months bank statement is not bad as written by cic webpage. BANKSTATEMENT FOR THE LAST FOUR MONTHS, since it's a sponsored account why not get 6 months statement so that you can sleep with all eyes closed. As i said earlier using a 4 months statement is not bad, but try as much as possible to follow Lagos VFS.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Bostem: 1:04pm On Jan 30, 2018
Pls can one use two SOA worth 6.5(4.2 & 2.) from the same sponsor and the same bank, she has other business account as well

For submission, i'm submitting the 2 SOA(personal) backed up with a reference letter from the bank, two landed property document of the sponsor, Certificate of incorporation of the sponsor, affidavit for sponsorship, letter of sponsorship and landed property document of my Dad as consent and full support.

How strong is this document? Considering my tuition for a year to be roughly 5000CAD + 10,000CAD living expenses

Do I need a tax clearance from my sponsor?

Do I need to submit Police report with the application?

Can an applicant use 2 third party as sponsor? What are the risk involve?

Pls help out

Hello house,

I know its almost late for PhD applications for fall 2018 but I would appreciate any lead to schools(the link in the first page gives error) or refer me to the page number. I really do not want to write GMAT/GRE

I want PhD to any management related program(I have bsc marketing, MSC business administration, MBA human resource)

I applied to 2 schools and it just clicked to me that I might be rejected !!

Hi jnyuwa02, any good news pertaining your application?

It's weird, a lot of people asking me this question today, even my supervisor at USASK called last night to ask. It's still pending ooh, has been slowly and steadily making its way through the process, changed from background check processing, to not applicable and now to processing again and we are determining your eligibility. All stages I expected. I expect to be called for medicals any day now! To God be the glory!

At least one has to be there, either a certificate or transcript. They need to be able to have a proof of what you studied and determine your progression level.
