Who made Wale and his goons buy Unipetrol when they were in their early thirties, even though Wale and his goons didn't money and we had reputable guys and businesses that bidded for Unipetrol.
How come all the chairmen of Oando in the l8 years were Obasanjo's friends?

A group of 3 guys bought a company that is more than 100 times their own company ocean and line.

I can tell you that Amosun is closer to Buhari, than Tinubu is to Buhari.

Amosun was in APP with Buhari, he was APP gubernatorial candidate in Ogun state

OK I now understand, but I preferred the audit to be carried out, for the interest of minority shareholders, and those of us that want the growth of the company.
If the audit clears the current administration, let them carry on, but if it indicted them, the should step outside.

Obasanjo created Billionaires in the downstream oil sector eg FEMI Otedola who bought African Petroleum now Femi Otedola oil aka Forte Oil, Wale and his goons who bought Unipetrol now Oando, Tonye Cole was given license to lift Oil he now owns Sahara Energy and a major shareholder of Ikeja Electric and Egbin Thermal station.

Tony Elumelu STB was also made swallow a bigger fish ie UBA. And the list goes on.

But the number of shares that will be sharing the earning will increase, thereby reducing the earning per a share. Did you see it that way?

But anyway, their result is good, and their PE shows that they are among the undervalued stocks, like, Eterna, Fidelity, Access bank.

Check the number of right units issues. Around 1.4b units. Add it to the current outstanding shares.

If the rights makes FMN increase PAT by N6b to N8b , then the effect of dilution is negligible.

That was why I keep advocating for guys to do research and understand numbers before results come out.

This stock may be doing 10% tomorrow.

out of reach!

Flour Mills. The only force that might keep this one down will be the ongoing fund raising..

On a closure look, where did 5.5b come from net operating gain?

If this result came out late on the exchange, then tomorrow will be 10% gain.

Anyway, let's see what Mr. Market says

fidelity N5
Dangote sugar N23
Flourmil N34
Access N20
UBA N17

Flourmil price was based on Q2 , expecting Q3 by end of this month. with q2 the company is very healthy with good free cash flow. hope they can repeat same at 2nd half of the year end.
Flourmil suppose to move in price more with this BULL. the cause of not moving faster in my opinion was the plan right issues. the plan that owners of the shares as at the date last year qualified for the right but post dated buyer does not.

owners can SELL and still qualify but buyer will not. so what do you expect? i think d reasons offer plenty over bid sometime.

owner last year sold at N34/35 grin already sold his share but still on the company's register for specific number of shares at N27 dis GOOD deal grin
some interested buyer now refuse to buy waiting for the share price move near to N27 or below before buying. may be reason the price fell to N28 on the announcement but thank GOD to mr BULL.
grin

bolded has upgraded in price but with negative free cash flow

tritri don hammer. although not expecting dis company to do 10% tomorrow as predicted bu BOSS oracle. right issue issue grin

If it continues at this pace, YE EPS will be 4. And if it is stuck at N30 till year end, it will have a PE of 7

grin No wonder Pa Emma wants to buy everyone's rights.

The rights will be oversubscribed. They will use the N39 to offset their loans. This will reduce finance cost and improve PAT.

This amount should add like N6b to N8b in PAT.

Just imagine that it had been inputted into this result, then use add that increase to the PAT and increase OS by 1.4b

Exactly...
That is why if they raise the 39b and offset part of the loans, it shows they will be saving like 15 to 21% of the N39. That is the interest if they got from the bank. This should cause a reduction in finance cost somehow.

what is their Authorised share capital self? why are they not increase the capital raising this N39b too small compare to about N200b debt on their head

I saw 4b units as the authorized share capital. If they intend to go beyond this, it should be discussed in their YE AGM.

Look at the distribution of the loans in the attached. IMO I think they want to pay down the big interest loans first while taking others cheaper loans from BOI or CBN.

Also the company should start Employee Share Scheme which will help then get some cheap funding.

Though they have a negative cash flow which in my opinion may affect dividend payments except if they dip their hands in the retained earnings and dash people.
