Help mr Pls share your experience with us, Where did you do it? Lagos or Abuja vfs?
Did they request for your saqa while submitting your application?

Submitted in Lagos. My sponsor in SA scanned and sent most of the documents, only docs I got from here is the police report, medicals and vaccination card, I think.

No they did not request for SAQA. It was required for my school admission but I didn't submit it for the visa application since they didn't ask.

Insurance was from Momentum. It was done by my Sponsor in SA, it think it was 3700rands.

I picked up my passport with study-permit yesterday. I want to thank @abdullahi@thecassanova@Zico70@imoniyi and other gurus in the house for not minding my shallow questions. Funny enough, the visa has been issued since 25th Jan without any message nor text sent to me. I just did what @abdullahi advised....tracked, and saw your processed passport is now at LAGOS on 25th bla bla(that is just 13 days after submission). And the rest is history.
Really appreciate everyone on here...you guyz are the best.

I have been a silent follower of this thread, asked few questions sometime ago but haven't talked since then. Submitted my student visa again January 8th after an initial denial last year and with knowledge from here i repackaged and resubmitted. Alas, i received passport back today via ups and i was given a study permit. Thanks for all the contributions on this section

compcare is cheaper than momentum, just do 1year medical aid cover and apply for your visa. But if you can afford momentum go for it (R4,400) to show the embassy you have enough money to cover your study at SA. Even those i know doing 3years PhD also did 1year medical cover and they got their visa. Make everything snappy and submit your visa.

I hope these helped.
Please I am about paying for compcare health care insurance aid, but the problem is it restricts me to December, 2018 which if I pick next month, March to December it is equivalent to 10 months insurance period, please will they accept this from me, or I should use momentum?
Please help me with ur advice, It is urgent.(R3680)

Make sure your health insurance is for a period of 12 full months. Will recommend January to December 2018. I had similar challenge of registering from February to November thats 10 months. If not for the grace of God I would have been denied study permit. The Visa Officer called me to submit 12 months cover within the next 3 days which i did. I have my study permit and just arrived at UCT

I am not a Guru but i will advice you try to do 12months medical cover (maybe with momentum) so as to be at the safest side. Momentum is R4440 as at last month for 12months.
