Pls, I juat joined this thread recently. Been going through the older posts for some time. I have a question though.

Is it possible for a Nigerian who is studying overseas to be able to complete all the stages of application for Canadian residency without stepping foot in Nigeria? If yes, how does one get police clearance from Nigeria while outside the country, say in the USA?

Guys, a quick question, when uploading the Nigerian PCC for eAPR, Do i upload the Pink Copy only? or it needs to be attached with the all the fingerprints. Appreciate your help.

I got this mail from cpc Ottawa yesterday while trying to get the visa office processing my application.
"Thank you for contacting us.Please note that our office is not the one processing your file."
My question is how do I know the visa office processing my file?

Nope it is not weird.

As you have explained it to us, explain it to them. Just make it more formal in an LOE that will go alongside your employment documents. If you need help reveiwing it, I can help look at it.

Hi guys, I got an ITA in December 2017.
Now, I got laid off by my previous employer in May 2017 cos they were downsizing... and got my severance pay in January 2018. Meanwhile, I have been working at my current work place since June 2017.
I intend to use the severance pay as part of my proof of funds but I don' know how to go about explaining it. Also since I have another job, would it be weird to have received funds from my previous employer?.....

Bolded is very important. The worrying and second guessing just makes everything worse. Make up your mind and do whatever you want to do with your full chest.

Has anyone done a UK PCC from Nigeria? Pls what did you use for proof of address. Thanks in advance for your answer.

Bro try and input 8 in the listening component while others remain as they are and calculate your crs score to see the difference.

I doubt you will get a raise in that listening cos it is not subjective as compared to Writing and Speaking.
Just try and rewrite it if you have the means.

If you have a second bank account, then you can use it, OR open another account print statement showing your address and use it to complete your UK PCC.

You can scan the pink copy and the document containing your fingerprints in a single Pdf document and upload. It is better to have both uploaded...
