Good day house,

Please I need advise on how to respond to the VO's comments and want people to also learn from it.

Attached is an extract of my GCMS note.

I applied for TRV in Sept and got denied in Dec as a result of purpose of study.

My first degree Accounting
2nd degree - Mba
Status - Married
Family size- 5
Applied alone
Working experience - 10yrs
Field of experience - accounting and finance related
Self sponsored
First semester fee paid
Resumption is May.

Course applied for: Global management
Schl : RRU

Issues:
1) Some people are of the opinion that I shld focus on d express entry. My response. I have been in the pool for a while now and my highest score is 367after 4 ielts hence my option of school route.

2) Why global management and not accounting? My response. Mid career change and accounting is relevant to global management

3)Active EE profile. This is where I really have a problem. I need to know how to respond and explain to the VO's concern.

Elders in the house, kindly assist.

It is for secondary school graduates, my two brothers did it and they both got admission to university at the end of the program

Ivan12,

Okay if you were issued a conditional offer of acceptance, you must show you can meet the conditions and you will be fine. There is no need attaching your brothers admission letter to your application, as the Visa officer will read through your acceptance letter to know what conditions are to be meet on your admission into the University.

It's quite obvious your application was rejected because of the EE profile the VO saw, i had same refusal as well when I applied for study permit with an active EE profile. I will advise you try the PNP route based on your low CRS and don't give up on taking IELTs, I had a friend who did the exam 8 times and she is a PR now so please don't give up.

Chai, these people are wicked. Did you disclose the EE profile or they discovered it on their own accord? Its easy to be discouraged with these people, but don't give up, refire!! Power must pass power!! God will come through for you mightily if you do not give up. Refire and explain to them why global management instead of continued progression in accounting. Current economic polemics do abound for why a person could choose global management over accounting. Perhaps you didn't explain to their satisfaction in your application. Perhaps you want to acquire new organizational practices and management skills in addition to your experience in accounting? Perhaps this will give you added skills and make you more lucrative and versatile to be of service to Nigeria when you come back? Perhaps such broad training will make you a better, more sought after and respected authority on the economy and business management than simply accounting which will only keep you in the office? Its time to search and articulate strongly on your purpose of visit. You can sail through if nicely done.

It seems your active EE profile caused the delay. Choose either EE or SP.

Someone applied for the 2 at the sametime and both were rejected.

hi jnyuwa02, thanks for this opportunity.

I am asking on behalf of a friend.
He wants to know the prospects of admission at carleton for Masters in Architecture.

the applicant has 2 years experience, with a masters degree (3.49) and undergraduate degree (3.59)
The main aim is to get a phd education and eventually settle.
He intends first applying for masters, then going on to phd
He is also aware of the express visa situation, and wonders if that would be better?

what is your advise?

Eventhough PHD Visa is the easiest, the revise is the case for admission. Ur friend’s profile is not very good, I will only suggest that he tries to contact professors in schools that offer his course and their graduate assistant, they will advice him appropriately.

Good day guys, I was delayed last week, on my refusal letter only my finances were ticked as reason of refusal, my question is should I tackle my finance and sponsorship issue and refire since it was the only reason for denial or should I order my gcsm file to know if there maybe other reasons for denial before I reapply? Thanks.

Sorry for the delay.

Many questions to be answered. so just share your full profile.

What's your sponsor relationship?
What did you use as proof of funds?
Did the person make a transfer to you?
Did you pay your tuition?

You need to share your full profile so that the house can know how best to advice you.

Also, apply for your GCMS note.

Best wishes

For starters,

Order your GCMS note

look for a new sponsor that will not be using company's account. you can then use your uncle's company account as co-sponsor.

try to make part payment in the tuition

10 mil sounds small considering your living cost is like 3M. tuition is like 4.5mil. your uncle will need to take care of his business and other dependent.

when you get you gcms note, it will help understand why you were denied.

best wishes
