Nope. There is an in between but folks here won't see it or don't want to. Can anyone accuse me of never castigating some aspects of Nacho's game or never mentioning where he has to improve? Have I never ever mentioned what he needs to keep working on despite some fine showings? The real issues here are these... 1). People just don't like anyone here praising A Nacho performance (which is actually normal). They want Nacho to be ignored and trashed if possible. 2). Even when the people who point out Nacho's strengths often also point out Nacho's weaknesses and areas he should still work on... It doesn't satisfy those who just want Nacho labelled poor and useless. Balance is coming only from the side that rates Nacho but the side who don't only provide negatives, backlash and sometimes lies to support their stances. The side (like myself for instance) who say Nacho is good and a special young player focus more on the positives but also call out the areas of his game that need working on to become really super and top notch. But the problem with this? Most people deliberately skip the parts where I speak on Nacho is not there yet.... And turn their eyes to bring down the Nacho is a special player part. Really funny. So there are no two extremes alone.... There is also a middle ground which is here I stands and would naturally oppose an attempt to maliciously downgrade his quality just because they domtr like hearing Nacho is special. This may be coming from me..... But it is the truth ... I hold nothing back. Mujtahida says something like, it is better to focus on the best than the worst but also not to deny that work need be dome consistently on the worst. It is funny how no one saw or remembers my caning of Iheanacho after that south African game. That is me, I can see the genuineness of a young talent and root for his potentials to bloosom but I will also keep pointing out when necessary his need for improvement and will even get specific about it..... but it doesn't take away the fact that such a talent is special. Finito. Lolll... (TheGoodJoe, see what you have done to my vocab) edi287: |

Kog45: Oga Kog45, we have always cautioned peeps here on names calling and I am sure you know that. We are all wired differently. There are some people that find it difficult to change some things about themselves. We have always preached caution and some level of restrain when we engage in certain arguments and with that most of us that have adhered to this have not had our Fathers or mothers insulted. There are certain things we cannot completely eradicate from a public forum like this. We can only minimise such. No system is perfect. We can only strive towards perfection. And to every member of the house it is very important that we respect each other's views. There is always room for criticism but we must learn to do that with respect. 2 Likes |

Cc: Icon4s Kog45, TheGoodJoe, Mickael2, Mujtahida... etc. If possible, I think we've found answer to our goalkeeper crisis. We can as well play in the world cup without a goal keeper. Hahaha! |

If it were boring, you would not read it or give it a minute glance.... haahahahahaha.... Iheanacho has come to stay on this thread because some people just cannot do without mentioning him for a backlash. And naturally, people mist try speak up to keep things balanced. Finito. Little wonder, Nacho won most debated topic on the thread... They only wait for weekends like this to discuss Nacho and give him some beatings unnecessarily. Funny. Shukusheka: |

Sad that people, who claim to have analytical skill, are arguing whether nacho was poor or not yesterday.. Wow.. Mhen mancity totally outclass Leicester, how many times where lecieister city able to hold possession, that will enable them transit from defense to midfield to attack.. Or was iheanacho supposed to carry the ball from defense to attack all by himself and score?.. Ahhh.. Well Leicester didn't hold possession, and couldn't provide any quality play, the only time iheanacho was able to get the ball, he showed class and quality... That should be used to judge him, if the time iheanacho had the ball he was poor, then you can throw the shades at him, but he was excellent and incisive when he was with the ball.. Sometimes , in this thread , people who support iheanacho are made to seem like the emotional ones, but those who critize, when it is needless, are equally emotional, or even more.. Thesupernerd, I respect your analytical skill on that match, and iheanacho in that game...respect baba 9 Likes |

Nobody is even harping much about Ndidi.... That lad had a fine game yesterday despite the heavy loss. Can't we just talk about that rather than about a guy who only came on later in the second half? Like seriously? Let us analyse Ndidi... He is even the one closest among his Super Eagles young generation peers to becoming World class soon enough... It is the bloody truth. I have already began the talk on Ndidi.... I talked briefly on his performance yesterday in one of my posts. Let it be about Ndidi biko.... Afterall, Nacho is not even an assured Starter in Russia depending on Rohr's formation and tactics for each game. But Ndidi will more than likely be a starter for every game in Russia. Haba! Be fair to Ndidi... Lad is growing better and getting more monstrous with each passing game and all you wanna do is still stay on Nacho man talk. Abegiiiii.... Ndidi deserves the spotlight too. Liverpool are even rumored to be contemplating a move for Ndidi in the summer for rhe CDM position... Coz Naby Keita will play CM or box-to-box CM depending on Klopp... Ndidi is Nigeria's next bonafide entrant into the world class realm.... Stay on him more right now and not Nacho. Ndidi had a full 90 yesterday for God's sake! 1 Like |

TheSuperNerd: Your analysis of the game is top notch!! But I don't think anybody here was blaming Nacho for the loss . What started an argument here was because Nacho didn't start.. And like u said,Puel tactics worked a bit in the first half . if Nacho had started, it might have been worse for him.... Man city are the most in form team in the EPL and perhaps the whole of Europe at the moment so it was only natural for Puel to start the game with players who would add more defensively... And lastly, all this pro Nacho fans need to calm down.. its disgusting how they term almost everybody that criticise nacho as an hater... Nacho isn't the only player that has been criticised on this thread, yet he has the most supporters.... 4 Likes |

Gateway fc is my favorite club we are in the npfl few season ago but the way we are have been going down we will soon discover a crude oil maybe by then the management will get small sense can you imaging somebody want to buy the club and the stupid state government refused to sell and the lmc should do more to protect the club from going bankrupt sunshine should have been booted out the league since they can meet up the requirement or let efcc get involved to investigate the corruption charges . #gatewayfcforlife #bringbackgatewayfc #upgateway 1 Like |

I think it should be a walkover. And a paddy who watched the game said they were 11 but didn't have a bench but not 10, you shouldn't be able to start a game with 10 players and that was why Etim Esin(?) once played a match without being invited AIG07: |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Icon4s(m): 11:51am On Feb 11, 2018 |
Mickael2: I think you are right. You cannot start a game except if you have 11 players. I recall a friendly between Ghana and Zambia some time ago. Zambia had only 9 players. They had to search for Zambians anywhere in London. They were able to secure 3 Zambian students. 2 of them started the game while 1 was on the bench. Zambia lost that game 4:0. So I think you must start the game with 11 players else its a walk-over. 3 Likes |

kellycute: U dey mind am? Loooollll..... If he thinks our hopes don't also rest on that young man called Nacho then he is obviously living in Asgardian exoplanets. A lad who remains the most lethal for Nigeria and Nigeria's highest goal scorer in the past two calendar years (2016 and 2017). Abeggiiii... Don't mind Funnyman Elyte... Lol I picked up his deliberate shade and ignored. You should too... Coz I was definitely not referring to him. He hardly contributes on Super Eagles to high levels so let him run his Anti-Nacho race... At least, he don find wetin go make am drop more frequent comments... Any body who wanna talk on Ndidi should do so because last time I checked, the attack of the Super Eagles is not the only dept of out team. Good thing we have been on the Goalie issue for a while now too. I also notice we no dey talk much about fullbacks issues... Loolll... Competition don dey now abi. How time flies... But we should still discuss the competition in those roles and who stands a chance too... Bring up stats, bring up observations that will help our team and.... Nacho this, nacho that... They just won't let this boy rest. Super Eagles' most lethal scorer right now. Lol... It is well shaa 2 Likes

congo4ka: FABULOUS teenager getting a start in goal is very hard to come by. He must have clear cut outstanding ability, this is La Liga. Not just potential but ability, Seedorf is a quality astute manager and player. And if he puts him in goal then this kid is quality. Most of our senior goalkeepers if not all are currently far from that level. 1 Like |

Mujtahida: you see me as I no dey talk am again bah? But where I have an issue is when people start tagging you an automatic hater in any debate you enter. If na Nacho debate we dey, tag me a hater and I will tag you a fanboy and laugh about it and move on, but just because I said a tackle like Onazi's own may not always be a red card offence I am now tagged a SE hater. Normally I wouldn't expect anything less from theGoodJoe but even Icon4s is part of the crusade now. I do not mince words one bit, so Icon4s, you really really disappointed me there. I was arguing entirely on the instance and somehow you brought in the fact that it was Onazi and that was the only reason why I was talking which was purely false, even BascoVanVielli who always argues for Onazi got the point and I want to believe that tbaba1234 got the idea too because he alligned his points with the instance and not the player. |

LieDetector: If you go back in time I made it intrinsically clear that KC new competition was not Vardy but Diabate. I was called a HATER bad belle and biased as well as unpatriotic. My comments are not based on my preference but from my understanding of the club ethos and after watching Diabate play, I knew then KC had a battle on his hands. Meanwhile some were celebrating that Okazaki was injured and road was free for KC. When you are a fan you are emotive not objective. You do not look at things holistically and consider team dynamics and club ethos. 3 Likes |
