ChuksEbube: Hello Chuck's thanks for the reply, yes it's a one man business. Her personal account that is savings is for her salary only and custom salary for her level is not even up to 200k tho some other cash are being paid into the account by customers and probably my dad. But the business account has good inflow as my younger sister just travelled to Ukraine for study and my mum used her business acct for her she has been working on this acct since January 2017. Please take not that I'm about to pay my full one yr tuition plus will have about 13000CAD deposited in my dorm acct by my mum. |

JoseJonn: Hello Sir/Ma. Let me add to what WEIRDPC have said earlier. Yes we all know that using a business/company bank statement as main proof of funds to applicant is totally not acceptable by the Visa officer. But in your case now since you intend paying full tuition and having funds in your dorm account, it will go a long way to address insufficient funds, try as much as possible to ask your mom to get a reference letter from the bank stating clearly that she is the sole signatory to her business account and no one else. Your mom should also write a convincing sponsorship letter that there will be availability of funds to you for the subsequent years (FUTURE FUNDING EXIST). If you do this, you will be fine. All the best! 1 Like |

mhoosah: www.google.com will be your best search engine Mr.mhoosah. Once you get the samples of the letters you're seeking, remember not to copy verbatim, if not you will charged for plagiarism. All the best! |

JoseJonn: Let your mom submit both her personal and business accounts. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Frankrobbn1: 12:37am On Feb 11, 2018 |
annaliese88: You can also show proof of relationship with sponsor by showing different transcations carried out between you and him in the past. You can show proof of relationship by him paying your tuition fee. You can as well show proof of relationship with him by asking him to transfer funds into your personal account( clearly showing that funds were transferred from his account to yours). The above mentioned are ways to show proof of relationship to sponsor aside birth certificates etc... As for the maiden name in question. You should explain to the visa officer why that name never appeared on your mom birth certificates. Preferably if that will tend to be a problem here, ask your mom to include her NATIONAL I.D, BAPTISMAL CARD(if you're an orthodox member), DRIVERS LISCENCE..... Add any other legal identity cards/certificates that show that your mom and her younger sister both shared the same family name. All the best! |

Slik07: Okay thank u. Do u mean even if d balance of the personal açct is low, I shld use it? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Frankrobbn1: 12:55am On Feb 11, 2018 |
JoseJonn: JoseJonn, I don't advise you include a bank statement with a low balance of 200K. The Visa officer might be thinking thats your primary proof of fund. Which can still lead to Automatic denial(I'M NOT SATISFIED FUTURE FUNDING EXIST) since there are no steady inflow and outflow of cash. So please do away with it. 2 Likes |

Hello guys, Can someone tell me how much does one need to have in account to sponsor a brother? And also to transfer to his account for fees and expenses Is it that transferring the money to his account then from his account to pay for the school first year or how does that part works... I read some part on this forum about 25kcad and the 20m. Is that d minimum.... lesser amount? Maybe. Thanks a lot |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Ggetter50: 6:33am On Feb 11, 2018 |
ChuksEbube:As you know that, she is not sponsoring herself. If her Mum statement of account is printed before the transfer of funds, how is it going to appear on the bank statement that she truly transferred the fund to her daughter for tuition |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by annaliese88: 9:32am On Feb 11, 2018 |
Frankrobbn1: Thank you fof responding. Let me explain the situation better My mum and her sister share same mother but different fathers, hence different last names. I thought I could still use both their birth certificates because I assumed it had same format as our birth certificates where both parents names are individually listed but it doesn't. My auntys husband is sponsoring me with just a one-time funding of 1m Naira which he will deposit into my account before I submit my application. According to all I have read here, I need to prove my relationship with any sponsor. |

Dennis2000:If you haven’t applied you need to prepare better. Living expenses for your cousins cost about 3m each which amounts to 6m...where’s the tuition fee out of 8m?? As for you, you will be safer if your fees are not on the high side and your dad doesn’t have so many other dependants and a steady flow of income. For your cousins, the funds available is too little, I’ll advise their parents show more funds with source of income. I feel applying individually will save you panic! Goodluck if you applied already!! |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Moley22(m): 12:43pm On Feb 11, 2018 |
chatmate:Hello, Your question is quite unclear, You can have his tuition and living expenses transferred to his account or paid to the school directly with a reciept or proof and a good balance left, Not forgetting to show your proof of steady income. E.g His tuition 2m + 3m living expenses paid to his account, you should have a good balance left especially if you still have other dependants left. Goodluck to you both! |

Who knows how to calculate in-flow and outflow in a bank statement |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by ChuksEbube: 1:01pm On Feb 11, 2018 |
Ggetter50: I don't think it necessary for it to reflect on the statement of account, the relationship between the two is good enough. My opinion though 1 Like |
