Princessayot: But sincerely, their reasons for denying people nowadays is just too awkward and doesn't make sense to me, if you take someones money like that in abroad they'll tame it as fraud. They assume all Nigerians traveling @ this harsh economy won't return cos Donald Trump immigration rules is affecting the whole system, 40,000+ Nigerians didn't return last year, Trump wasn't happy hence they reshuffled the system unless you are not watching CNN. Imagine, you have good travel history but still they denied you, this can't happen 2013/2014/2015. Kindly check this part 3 thread very well the numbers of people that posted accepted transcript is fewer compared to part 2&1. I'll advise people on here always have a concrete & genuine reasons before applying or else na one chance. 1 Like |

Sorry man. Are you going for a conference OR an exhibition? They are two different things I think. If it's a conference, what type of conference is it? XYZJAZZY: |
Hello LadyG and others in the house, i was trying to schedule an appointment today and after filling all the necessary information, and take me to where i will put the VISA FEE PAYMENT TRANSACTION REFERENCE NOS, then it says " No record found with the Reference Nos" , i don't understand why it says that, i was thinking i did a mistake while trying to schedule the appointment at first place because i first receive a DROPBOX CONFIRMATION PAGE while scheduling the appointment with the Visa Reference Nos, so i don't understand... I haven't being issued visa before.. please help me clarify this, what might goes wrong? do i need to pay for another visa fee to schedule another appointment? Please ur response will be useful |

Yeah, you have to make payment for another one. A costly mistake, so sorry. Really wish the authorities in charge of this aspect will revise how this works though, and give more room for people not to just be losing money like that.... Whew! |

Good evening house,I have been a silent reader on this group and I had my interview today together with my wife and 2 year old daughter and it was approved. I read the almost 1000 pages constituting this thread religiously and researched extensively, lol. All in all,it was the Grace of God. It was the 10:45 appointment and there were so many people there. VO:Good morning(smiling). US:Good morning to you(smiling) VO:Please pass your passports. VO:Where are you travelling to? US:Philadelphia and New York VO:Who is in Philadelphia?Do you have a relative there? WIFE: My aunt is in Philadelphia even though we only intend to spend the Easter weekend with her as we will be staying in a hotel for the remainder of the vacation. VO:Where do you work? WIFE:I work with the **** of Nigeria as a ***** where I carry out (so and so)responsibilities and all her duties. VO:How much do you earn? WIFE:I earn 1***** thousand naira but I am paid **** as upfront, also **** as bonus and ****as allowances. VO: Have you travelled before? WIFE:Yes I have travelled to Togo for *****,also travelled to Dubai for my wedding shopping and lastly travelled with my husband to Dubai in 2015 after we were denied our US visa. At this juncture, I came in as it was my wife that had been answering all the questions and me I wanted to talk small join, lol. ME: I also work with ****** as a Federal Prosecutor where on behalf of the FGN I prosecute **** and ***** cases. She stops at this juncture, looks at us,smiles and said"you both work in interesting places". We both smiled back and wifey quickly added that: WIFEY:His(me) job is even more interesting as he has an appeal in a case that was reported by the US govt in May. Me:I also prosecute visa ****cases. VOnodding her head)How long have you both been doing these jobs? WIFE: 4years and 2months. ME: 6 years this year. VO:Continues typing for a long time and picks up the white envelope, circles a part and informs us that our visa has been approved.I didn't hear the rest, just couldn't wait to be out of the place, lol. I learnt from Lady G here and other sources that you should always emphasize your strong ties and that's what we did.We spoke confidently about our jobs because wifey and I rehearsed on likely questions and satisfactory answers to them many times. My observation on this trend is that we can be more diplomatic and courteous in responding to the questions of others without necessarily making them look stupid or being outrightly insulting.I have observed in trends from other countries that even when the intention of an applicant is manifestly illegal, they don't prosecute and jail them on those trends but they correct and pass their messages decently. We can be more civil to our fellow country men even when they are wrong.Thanks. 9 Likes 2 Shares |

petemail2all: Hi, I do not think the problem is with the email. I've tried different email addresses but still got the same response. I decided to twist every detail on my passport and it moved successfully to the next page. This means that someone has used my passport details before on the website. I'm confused because I have never sought for US visa in my life. Please, impersonation is a very serious issue. Please, who knows the embassy's hotline so that I can put a call through to them? The feedback form is slow and I'm running out of time. |

Surdycole2:Tell him to get his life in order by getting a good job with good salary and since there's 1million involved they can both meet in Dubai to have a good time sooner or later maybe after 3 yrs he can apply for U.S Visit Visa to meet her... without good ties it's near impossible to get a U.S visa. |

Hello. Please applying for USA visiting visa as a first timer. Is it better to use a hotel reservation or a home address for my form? |
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by careerwoman(f): 1:45pm On Feb 14, 2018 |
YankeeJJC: Yes Seems like it.. I tweaked the details again to determine which particular information matches the previous user. Apparently when I changed my passport no. leaving the other details, it moved to the next page successfully. It's so annoying |

Hello gurus in the house. Myself and my wife appeared at the Abuja US Embassy this morning but were denied B1/B2. Me: We are going for tourism purpose VO: Do you have a friend in the US Me: Yes VO: Where do you work? Me: .I work in Hubmart Stores Limited as a Training & Dev. Manager My wife said she works in Skye bank as a customer service officer VO: Have you ever traveled out of the country before? Me: Yes VO: Where? Me: Republic of Benin VO: Do you have children? Me & wife: NO! We are waiting on God and we a still praying She directed the last question to my wife.. VO: Are you pregnant? Wife: No, I am not ...kept typing for like 30seconds and brought our d refusal letter. Please where did we go wrong so that we can adjust next time re apply. Thanks |
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by blackkeyc: 4:26pm On Feb 14, 2018 |
ayinkala: At the bolded When asked why u were going to Florida a better reply would have been to list out the places you will like to visit for Tourism. You will need to work on your travel history as a couple When asked about children, an outright no should suffice. |
