Slightly off-topic,but not by much. Saffas, what's the exact situation with Zuma? He's being asked to leave by the ANC but is staying put-WTF!? What's Ramaphosa's attitude to defence and security? Is he aware of the need to increase spending especially given SA's wider continental role? Does he acknowledge the existence of outside forces wishing to balkanise SA via local and/or regional proxies and thus the need for an effective military?
Patches869,mikecza,saengine,frumentius what can you tell us?

They probably going for a vote of no confidence soon and empeach him.

Rumour has it a Middle Eastern country is negotiating to buy the IP for yet another Denel product.
This time the RG-41. I was opposed to the RG-35 IP being sold to the UAE, because I felt there was a market for it that Denel could've pursued.
However, if this sale transpires I support it, as we've already chosen the Badger in this role and there were no prospective buyers of this platform. There's loads more IP Denel is sitting on which should be sold if there's no prospect of going into production.

"There are decades where nothing happens, and there are weeks where decades happen." So said that thug Lenin.
A presidency that should never have been, is seemingly a few minutes away from rightly ending in ignominy.
That moment earlier today when the SAPS raided the co-conspirator Gupta family's compound, erecting tape and rightly saying, "This is a crime scene!"

People on my girl's street started honking their horns and there's now an impromptu street party. I've just met a senior Air Force officer who works at my building whom I never knew lived on the same street.

I was hoping he wouldn't resign as he said this afternoon so he'd be kicked out in Parliament tomorrow. Then the entire Cabinet would be gone and Ramaphosa would start with a clean slate.

but I'll take it smiley smiley smiley.

Tsaigumi UAV

The picture clarity of this UAV is incredible, very good.

Flying at 5000 ft, i could spot the advancing rescue teams.

It features multiple design features from the Gulma.

Notice the wing tip and span. Much longer and bigger than the Gulma.

10hrs endurance
Mission range 100km
Mtow 80KG
Altitude 15,000ft
Cruising speed 54knots

The Tsaigumi is at least 2 times larger than the Gulma UAV.

Our new president with our former finance minister, out on an early morning jog today on the Sea Point Promenade. He's already dispensed with the large security contingent emblematic of the recently resigned paranoid buffoon.

Come on Henry. These two drones aren't anywhere near being the same size. But it's good seeing Nigeria's capabilities increasing in this field.

You are correct, it is not. I've edited accordingly.

It is however 2 times larger than the Gulma, at least from what i could see.

They should integrate the T-7 turret on the RG-41 for free and sent it to them for evaluation as well. That way we can hit 2 birds with one stone. As it stands now the LEO wont make it into production. Next best thing is to sell the IP. The barrels would still be made in SA anyway.

The G-7 will go into production unlike the RG-41.

would be a mistake selling IP for products like the G-7.
