Go profess love to a Yoruba girl nor be by mouth your chances na 10 percent out of 100 especially when she gets to know your Igbo.

on the other hand let a Yoruba do d same his chances outweigh d Igbo man chances by over 50%.
Igbo men r afraid of marrying yoruba women bc of their infidility in marriage. Most yoruba married men and women keep relationship out and it is not a taboo but in igboland it is a taboo.Even if a member of the husband's family get to know the woman will be in trouble.

Oh my! shocked
It's not that serious. All the Igbos I knew in Lagos spoke Yoruba better than some of the full-blooded Yoruba kids there. I don't know why you're so upset about this attempt to preserve heritage. I don't think this will curtail anyone's rights. Those Lagosian Igbo kids that want to go to Lagos state universities won't be discriminated against.

When I joined Nairaland, we were "N.gba.ti" people. Then we were "Ofe.ma.nu" oily soup people. Now we're "Afonja." No shaking. grin cheesy

Carry your more say go to ICC or state house. Your ranting, gnashing of teeth, wailing and pains are not recognized here. You have been on nairaland wailing uncontrollably since the law has been signed but you couldn't do a shit. I thought you would have led a protest to the state house, Abuja n international criminal court since. But I am dissapointed you only rant here for. your enclaves and run back to swallow your smelly akpu after. So you even sleep, you should be having a sleepless night on it na grin

yoruba once again trying to impose their language on others.
This is what the yoruba tried to do to my people when Bendel was part of the western region.
The scam is that, these african fake "historians" identify language with tribe.
Therefor yoruba try to force other people to speak their language and hence turn everybody into yoruba.
Which would increase their numbers.
This is how they started this whole scam called yoruba anyway.
Just take the language of ife and impose it on an entire region and then conclude that that entire region is made of one tribe only because they speak that same language which you forced upon them.

This guy is funny. Yorubas did not force theit language on Ile-Ibinu. The language of any royal court is the language of its royal family, meaning once the sons of Oduduwa became your Obas, the natural order of things had to follow. This is life.

They have started another policy again that may set NIgeria back ,by the time other regions retaliate .

That was how awolowo introduced tribalism into Nigeria and set a chain of retrogression that we have not recovered from.

I expect other regions to retaliate in double foldwhen they get to know.
The oil States for example could simply ban yorubas from working in the oil sector.

I am sure the yorubas will later accuse them of tribalism when the consequences begin.

It is not who begins a fight that wins.

[/s]We have oil in our states, we have bitumen, lagos oil is booming. Let start banning ourselves, that will be a welcome development. If this law to preserve our heritage is what is giving you people sleepless night. Then get ready for more pains, cos more n more are coming.

WE WERE ALL NIGERIANS BEFORE YORUBA INTRODUCED TRIBALISM AND THE HAUSA ISLAMISED BIGOTRY.

DO I NEED TO REMIND YOU THAT OJUKWU HIMSELF AND HIS FATHER WERE PROUD NIGERIANS THAT MADE MORE VALID CONTRIBUTION TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THIS COUNTRY THAT ARE VISIBLE, THAN THE BIGOTRY YORUBAS KEEP INSTITUTIONALIZING AND SPREADING?

NIGERIA STOCK EXCHANGE WAS THE BRAIN CHILD OF SIR LOUIS OJUKWU.

HIS SON CHUKWUEMEKA OJUKWU WAS THE FIRST CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY GRADUATE TO JOIN THE NIGERIA ARMY.

WAT MORE DO U PEOPLE WANT FROM US IGBOS, EVEN AFTER DRINKING THE BLOOD OF THREE MILLION IGBOS.

WAT MORE DO U PEOPLE WANT?

Sir Louis Ojukwu was the first and founding President of The Nigerian Stock Exchange as well as President of The African Continental Bank. He was also either Chairman or on the board of directors of some of Nigeria's most profitable companies such as Shell Oil Nigeria Limited, Guinness Nig. Ltd, Nigerian National Shipping Lines, Nigerian Cement Factory, Nigerian Coal Corporation, Costain West Africa Ltd, John Holt, Nigerian Marketing Board amongst others. He won a parliamentary seat during the nation's first republic. He attended a primary school in Asaba and the Hope Waddell Institute.

I am sure if you hang around long enough, those Yoruba people would come in here to give you a befitting response to the puerile epistle you typed in this post. undecided So your own people are angels who have never displayed any bigotry or tribalism or ethnocentricity? shocked Ever heard of the Okechukwu Ikejiani saga in the '60s? Or the Eni-Njoku Saga in Unilag and the lopsided appointments he made in the university, when he was appointed as Vice-Chancellor in the '60s, too? As for saying that Chukwuemeka Ojukwu made more valid contribution to the development of Nigeria, haba Oga, take it easy with those fairytales. The last time I checked, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu tried to dismember this country, not develop it. He failed to learn from his father, about how people build prosperous legacies.

bbnaija, u can imagine, 4 Igbo girls and only one Igbo guy.

Clearly their agenda is to match the Igbo girls with Yoruba.

CEEC come flop dem.

The other girls are not even interested.

There are two Yoruba girls and three or four yoruba boys.

The one Igbo guy is comfortably and effortlessly matched to the most beautiful girl in that house that happens to be Igbo, with no ball bursting drama.
