The company below is also the one developing the GCS as said. The Chinese military currently make use of their GCS for some of their UCAV.

@abiodunalasa, that my typical Nigerian comment is nothing o. Just trying to explain that I'm not trying to defend the country's defect as it must be acknowledged. I'm aware of the pride that comes with us Nigerian but if we want development, we need to acknowledge we're no where where our counterparts are.

Britain that is struggling to keep her fleet afloat wants to challenge.

In Ur earlier post , I was to reply but forgot.

The HD pic of the UAV u posted had me smiling. grin

At a first glance it seems the UAV design is -> speed -> range.

U started the wind tunnel tests ? after CFD u will need it for validation of the same.

Anyways I must say the design is unique.

@others
for the layman CFD is like a virtual wind tunnel grin

What percentage of the vehicle are you guys making? Which parts? How does it look like, i mean when compared to other UAVs?

Design is unique yes, took alot of modifications especially considering the fact that the design itself has to feature stealthy design. Plus, the motive was to have a distinct design and of course.

Wind tunnel will be after the Chinese new year holiday. The facility is closed now.

Yes range + speed. We're trying to network our radio repeater to be able to extend the UAV range too to further increase the normal range. Security will now be the issue as it may end be being vulnerable to interception but that will take a long time as the fund and manpower to start dealing with a new issue isn't available now so the proposed range is okay enough.

Nice

Security of link will always remain a issue becz it depends on the capabilty of the one trying to hack it.

Just make sure intrusion routines/tripwire r built at Ur comms end to stay ahead.

Airframe will be done here in Nigeria by us. The only thing we're purchasing are avionics, engine and onboard sensors.

Even the EO pod went through modifications by us. Security settings etc and others.

Its 50 years since Tet,guys! Fyi,this is when the VC and NVA attacked SV and US forces during the Chinese new year 1968,traditionally a cease fire period.

The Tet Offensive consisted of simultaneous attacks by some 85,000 troops under the direction of the North Vietnamese government. The attacks were carried out against five major South Vietnamese cities, dozens of military installations, and scores of towns and villages throughout South Vietnam.
https://www.britannica.com/topic/Tet-Offensive

Despite some stunning local successes, a temporary capture of parts of the US embassy and a number of towns in the south the VC were crushingly defeated:they basically penned themselves up for US firepower. Later they accused their Northern command of sacrificing them for political reasons-commies have never really respected their 'allies.'
Imo,Tet was yet another testament to the testicular fortitude of perhaps one of the greatest multi generational soldiers of all time, the Vietnamese. A decade and a half earlier, they dragged 130 mm guns,50 heavy mortars,70 reckless,30 AA guns and 12 Katyushas BY HAND,GODDAMMIT up the hills around Dien Bien Phu!? Go to 3.55. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=InHLI_PDe3o

This was the battle ending Jean-Fraude's SEA colony wherein they took 8k KIA.

Dumb question. What is the use of a fighter jet in a combat zone?

His question wasn't dumb. They have SU-35, SU-33, SU-30,SU-27, SU-24, SU-25 ETC deployed there so of what use is their latest fighter over there if not for something more political than militarily?

Political and marketing mainly , Russia has issued an ultimatum to IAF , if they don't jump in they will seek other partners.

Question is who will sink 6 billion for co development and 4 prototype costs only.
