Another soldier is about to be sentenced to death for what will likely be his Oga's mistake.

To be a junior officer in the military is real suffering.

Definitely a death sentence and summary execution to deter other junior ranks

The Yoruba coward should be killed.

If you cannot be disciplined then you shouldn’t dare work for the army, simple!

Too bad. This kind of incidence usually occur when arrogance and high handedness has taken a greater part of superior officers who thus see themselves as slave masters and demigods.

Superiors should understand that there's a limit to which u can strain your ego and arrogance to your subordinates. Your seemingly exalted position today is a mere privilege

You are right, but at the same time people should also learn to exercise patience, calmness and restraints in the face of severe provocation, not all grudges should be settled by extreme force and penalty.

the Nigerian Army Officers should know the only different btwn them and the other rank is the privilege they have over them. they should consider their subordinate as human beings also

I remember the NDA value system which is also part of the Army code and conduct,

Don't judge too quickly bro. Anything could have happened. Some Oscars are also insolent and won't take to standing and particular orders. Dz d army and the number one rule I know of far back as NDA OUR SENIORS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT. Moreso, orders are supposed to be obeyed at once. Anything cud HV happened let the panel find the reason but nothing justifies his actions

Save your stupid preaching for the korofo idiots who regularly oppress and maltreatment unarmed civilians. So the fools don't know that the khaki they're wearing that is giving them a big head is a mere privilege?

Suffering? Were they forcefully conscripted into the Armed Forces, or did they join voluntarily (with plenty legwork nepotism, connection, etc)? Didn't they know what they were going in for before begging and scheming to join the military?

These attributes you mentioned are at the core of what it takes to be a member of the Armed Forces in sane countries. The more of these you possess, coupled with the physical and tactical elements, the more qualified you are to even ascend to the elite sections of the force.

Restraint and endurance is critical to professionalism and discipline in any Armed Forces. Without this, what you'll have is just a uniformed militia comprising hurriedly assembled scallywags. That's what we have in Nigeria unfortunately. That's why they are the most unprofessional and undisciplined armed forces in the world. Bunch of useless thugs.

Don't be too quick to blame. The military is still one of the most secured occupations in Nigeria now. Cases of retrenchments ain't common there.
Besides, do you have any job for them?

IN D PROCESS HE WAS BN CAUTIONED D LAST TIME, HE GOT VEXED AND FIRED AT THE OFFICER. Tell me wat act is of stupidity is this. Captain said to Corporal to go dress properly and he opened fire at the Captain. About Seven gun shot but miraculously he survived it. This can only be God.
